Hi, I've created a button on the Item Master Data form. When I click it I would like the Stock Status Form to open (Located in the Main Menu under Reports -> Stock Management). How can this be done?

XL Report for stock status

I am trying to create a stock status report that shows all items grouped by item group, their quantity on hand, item cost, and total value. We need to have a subtotal by item group. I thought that XL Reporter would do this easily, but I am having difficulty.
In the Report Composer, I can create the listing of items with descriptions, quantities, and item costs, grouped by item group. Of course, I cannot perform the calculation to get the value of each item (quantity * cost). When I generate the report into the Report Designer, there are no errors and the design appears to be created OK. But when I run the report, the spreadsheet comes up completely blank except for column headers.
Can anyone tell me what the problem is?

XL reporter is based on the concepts of Dimensions, Light Dimensions and Measures.

28. When I create a query within the Report Composer that uses the dimension called GL Accounts and add the attribute Account Name then refresh the query it produces data as expected. However when the query is executed in Excel it does not produce any data. What am I doing wrong?
The query only contains dimensions and not measures. It is not possible to generate data with a query that does not contain a measure field type within Excel. Excel and the composer pick up data in different ways, therefore it is possible you will see data in the composer, however in excel you will not. Until a measure is added no data is produced.

To get stock status as per the delivery date

Dear All,
Order creating date is 01.03.2009 and delivery date is 20.03.2009.
When I create delivery, some stocks cant get delivered because of shelf life, mrp st.date (or availablity) etc... as per the material master.
To ease my process, can i get a stock overview as per my delivery date.
I aware we can't predict the stock status, but just i want to give a date while taking ATP or any T- code to check the above things.
Please guide me.

I created Purchasing value key with Negative indicator like first reminder is -8.second is -4 and third is -2 and assigned the respetive material master and w r t material PO created. When i am doing ME9F exceuting its showing error No suitable purchasing documents found,while i am exceucting i select PO No,Purchase Org,application EF and message type MAHN but its shoing error ..kindly let me know how i can proceade.
Please note, My client requirment is once PO delivery date falls with the reminder period its should remind vendor through mail,

Apple stock status, have to pre-order?

Do someone know if there is a web page to check the stock status of the apple stores in CA on the iPad?
Wonder if they have a iPAd 64 GB on storage ...
I do not have the opportunity and call or go there and check. Is the iPad impossible and get the day or do you have to pre-order it?

Right now, most US stores are completely out of stock. All you can do is call a store prior to visiting and see if they have what you want in stock.
Depending where the store is located, pre-ordering can mean a 5 business day wait or a 3 week wait. At this time, iPad is in short supply everywhere.

Do you deal with a particular order type for these kinds of orders? If yes, then its easy to retrieve data from VBAK for a given a sales order type and a given customer number KUNNR in VBAK table.

No Linkage of Notification With Stock Status

Dear All,
For line rejection booking under F5 (customized) notification in SAP, we need to have the stock in the system. Then only booking is possible. Due to Just In time inventory, the stock in logical store are not available most of the time, which results in delay in line rejection booking.
So, how can we have no linkage of rejection booking with stock status?

You SHOULD be able to create a complaint against the vendor without having stock. Sometimes issues with a vendor's material may not become apparent until after the material has been consumed in production and the final product fails testing.
If your notification requires stock, I suspect that is a function of your custom notification.

Stock Status on a particular date in past.

Hi MM Gurus,
I am looking for a transaction code that should give me a report when i enter a plant and /or storage location along with the date from and date to. This report should have all the material that are there in that plant and /or storage location and their details like quantity recieved and quantity issued. I know about MB5B and MC.8. Is there any other T-code apart from these two.
I am actually after the opening and closing stocks of all the materials in a plant and/ or storage location for particular period like from beginging of month till the end of the month.
Can any one suggest something.

For this you need to develop a custom report using the tables mseg ,mbew,mkpf,t001w,makt,bseg,bkpf,bsim,t001k,mara,t134,t023 etc. As the details being required are to be got from different fields of these tables.

3.Flagged Material For deletion (Yes/No)

5.Storage Location

Any standard reports available to generate this report cantaining all these fields.

In SQVI...
Enter some name..like zxxxxx. Create..
Enter description.
Data source: select table join
Enter
Click the insert table iconu2026enter the first table name
Again Click the insert table iconu2026enter the second table name
Then come back..
You will see all the fields in both the tables with two boxes next to each field..
The first box is the thing which you need to get in the output and the next box is for the inputting stuff..
Put tick mark in the relevant boxes according to ur requirementsu2026and execute...
Now save. Go to system...ststus....copy the program name..
THen go to se93...give the transaction code of your choice. create...paste the program you copied.. then save it as a local object..save...

Available Stock status (MM) - which table should I take and what are the fields ??

Report that outputs stock, grouped by Material type and Plant. The output shows Material no, Storage location, unit of measure and description in addition to group table using ALV.

Hello Bunty
When you run the report put in current month in date fields, then when you are in the report you can add the different fields you need.
At the top there is a button called 'Switch Drilldown', this enables you to view by Material Type etc. Fourth from the right is another button that looks like the standard variant button, here you can add or remove different figures for valuing the stock.
Don't forget that this report views periods so you can use average stock etc by changing the month. Also make sure that any stock reports you are using reconcile with each other.

Material with different Valuation types in WM Stock status

If we are maintaining stocks of different valuation types in a Plant , and the Storage Location in the Plant is Warehouse Managed, then how can we see the stocks in different valuation types in the Warehouse stock?

Hi Keerthan,
It will not be possible to change or add valuation type after the material movement is performed for the material. Only option is to create new materials.
In case if the materials are not involved in any material movement, then you can change valuation type. Best thing will be executing via LSMW.
