Stock Ticker

Hello,
I would like to create a stock ticker that goes on a website for the company I work for. I would like to develop this in Flash (I have Flash CS3). Is this possible to do in Action script 2 or 3? I already use flash to create banner adds but if i could use some of the space to show my companies current stock price that would be awesome!
I've tried looking on the web for free stock tickers but I've had no luck.

I tested and it worked fine for me....
I went through Yahoo steps and had code generated...
Went to iWeb and on page I wanted to add chart, I clicked on the "Web Widgets" icon at bottom of iWeb page and picked "HTML Snippet" and then pasted code in area provided (where it says paste code), finally I hit "Apply" saved my pages and published. Worked fine.

My first PKGBUILD - stock ticker style output on the console

I created my first PKGBUILD of a simple program I wrote called "ticker" which just converts input text to scrolling stock ticker style output on the console.

Stock Ticker in iWeb '08

Hello,
I would like to put in a nice looking stock ticker for an Indian company in my iWeb website using the HTML Web Widget feature in iWeb. I have found a really nice one on Yahoo but that is only for Dashboard. I have two questions:
1. Where can I find a neat, clean (vertical) stock ticker with HTML code I can paste into iWeb?
2. If possible, how can I find the HTML code of Dashboard widgets?

WLCS 2.0 and Stock Ticker Display

Read a stock ticker symbol using java

HI Guys,
I am complete beginner to java. I have done c programming before for a long time. But its been 4 years haven't used c.
i am trying to read a stock ticker symbol periodically and save it to my data base. I would like to use java for that. any suggestions on how to do that. IS Java the best tool for reading webpages, especially if tehre are tables in the web pages? For example options page of any stock has a table. Is it easier to to use Java to read the table?

Hi,
To execute this task would be quite difficult since you are not in an "ABAP" environment.
The best approach is to create an RFC, that reads this Y table; and import the RFC to PI.
From there you can decide:
1 - Use RFC Receiver Adapter: if you want to call the RFC and get the data yourself.
2 - Use RFC Sender Adapter: if you want the data to come out of the RFC and go to PI by itself.

Stock Ticker Updated Question

I have searched and searched and I see a few tickers that may
work but I need a professional opinion. Maybe I should refraise my
question from a previous posting about this question. So here I go
again. Does anyone know where I can find a
Replicale Stock Market Ticker. Even one that you can try and
see if it works and then buy if you like it. Although if I pay for
it I do want to remove any ads. Maybe I shouldn't have said the

Stock ticker widget

Has anyone had problems adding stocks to the stock widget ticker. I cannot add any after 19 stocks. If I remove one I can then add another, but cannot exceed 19?? Word up!

How to create a Stock ticker application

You may try to open these URLs on a normal browser. See if you like them !!!
You just have to create URL iviews and then depending on where you want them, you can play them. If you want them to be see throughout the portal, then we need to add it to the default framework page. Or if you want them to be seen only on a particular page, add that iview to a page and put that iview at the top.

Stock ticker and the cloud

How do I turn off the ticker from the cloud? I did not see it under settings.

I'm sorry I wasn't clear. I like the ticker on the notification screen. But it seems like the info is on the cloud as when I make a change it show up ony wife's iPhone and vice versa.

Stock ticker widget not working

why can't I get the stock widget to show the stock infor anymore. It showed it a few days ago and now no detail. I have closed it and reopened and still nothing. all other widgets are working fine.

Try deleting the .plist - widget-com.apple.widget.stocks.plist
Either hold down the option key while using the Finder “Go To Folder” command and select your user Library in your home folder or use the Finder “Go To Folder” command and enter ~/Library/Preferences/widget-com.apple.widget.stocks.plist. Move the .plist to your desktop.
Test. If it works okay, delete the plist(s) from the desktop.
If the same, return the .plist(s) to where you got them from, overwriting the newer ones.
If you prefer to make your user library permanently visible, use the Terminal command found below.
Show User Library
You might want to bookmark the command. I had to use it again after I installed 10.8.4. I have also been informed that if you drag the user library to Finder it will remain visible.
If that doesn't work, try restoring the widget from a backup.

Auto consumption of Q stock from an STO?

Hi All
How much configuration is required to enable auto consumption to a reservation for receipt of Q stock for a stock transport order.
The reservations are for Q stock only. Therefore, Plant B supplies Plant A with Q stock that I want to be receipted in using MIGO and auto consume to the planned reservation.
Current Transactions
Sending Plant (B)
MB1B - 351 mvt to STO
LB10 - Pick Q stock from bin (TO in Background)
LT12 - Confirm
Receiving Plant (A)
MIGO - receive Q stock
LB10 - Put away Q stock (tick confirmation)
Issuing to Reservation
MB1A - 281 mvt
LB10 - Pick stock (TO in Backgroung)
LT12 - Confirm pick
Preffered Transactions
Sending Plant (B)
MB1B - 351 mvt to STO
LB10 - Pick Q stock from bin (TO in Background)

As per me it is not possible in WM. It is possiblein MM only. Reason is we have to pick the qty from stock in transit in WM.

Inspection Lot with Zero stock posting qty

Dear QM Consultants,
We have come across following scenario,
1.     Repetitive manufacturing
2.     Material has inspection type 04 and Z04. Preferred inspection type is not ticked. Z04 inspection type has been assigned to inspection lot 04.
3.     Production GR done by 131 movement
4.     Inspection lot generated with reference to 131 movement type. Lot for inspection type 04 is created.
5.     Inspection lot qty in QA32 it shows correctly as that of GR qty.
6.     But when we click on UD, in stock posting tab, qty to be posted it shows as ZERO. So no qty is available for stock posting.
Has anybody came across such scenario? Is this any bug? Any SAP note for this?

Dear Sujit, Thanks for so prompt reply,
Basically this is a complex case,
1.     See we have set Posting Proposal in Usage Decision as u2018To unrestricted useu2019 in selected sets for usage decision. That means we need not every time go to stock posting tab. The moment we select ACC UD code it automatically posts the stock to unrestricted use.
2.     Now, what has happed, by 131 movement declaration, backflush happened with 261 movement for child parts.
3.     Inspection lots with inspection type 04 were created. (Here we did not note whether the stock was posted in quality inspection or in unrestricted use)
4.     Now the requirement is to cancel 131 movement document. Kindly note UD were not given up to this moment.
5.     Now through MFBF, user did document specific reversal. As a result of which and as per my knowledge 132 movement should happen and 262 should also happen. At the same time inspection lot status should be set to LTCA. But in actual case 132 movement happened and 262 did not. Surprisingly inspection lot did not set to LTCA status. It remained in REL mode only.
6.     After this document specific reversal, user gave UD to these inspection lots without noticing where the stock was lying.(in unrestricted or in quality inspection). So the lot status set to UD   ICCO SPCO STUP after giving usage decision.
7.     Now while doing reverse engineering that why 262 movement did not happen, we came to know that no 321 movement happened for the inspection lots which were generated with reference 131 movement document
8.     Also, qty to be posted it shows ZERO as explained in my earlier post.
9.     When we display 132 movement document through MIGO, in where tab it shows stock type as Quality inspection. That means stock was lifted from QI for 132 movement.
In short it cannot be predicted where the stock was actually posted whether in QI or in unrestricted use. But yes the post to inspection stock tick has been ticked in material master.
Can you help further in this regard?
