Stock to be moved to Available stock

Hi Experts,
New to WM.... Please help.
During GR process user has done wrong postings and due to that stock lies as below
982 post Change Area          stock for Put Away (0 pcs)             Pick Qty (50 pcs)
Bin 01-06                               stock for Put Away (50 pcs)            Pick Qty (0 pcs)
Total                    Available stock (0 pcs)         putaway (50 pcs)                           pick Quantity (50 pcs)
Now please tell me what movement will bring the stock to Available Stock.
Also note: All the TOs wrt this materials are confirmed. So I'm not finding any way

Moving Fields from left panel to right panel

Hello All
I am involved in configuring web ui screens. I want to actually move captions and fields from left panel ( Colums A-H) to Right Panel ( Colums I-P). When I go into field properties, it;s not giving me the option to enter colums from right panel.
Or show me how to do this

Hi,
Please follow below steps:
1. Go to config tab
2. Choose the right config.
3. Go to edit mode.
4, Display available fields.
5. you can see two blocks now. One with available fields and other with your displayed fields.
6. In your displayed fields block you can see two buttons in top left corner (right above A column). One with plus sign and other with minus. Similarly you can see two buttons on top right corner( right above P column) of your displayed fields block.
7. select a field you want to move from displayed columns by clicking on it. Click on minus button on top( the one above A). Now this field would be moved to available fields under its context node. Locate the field there.
8.Select the field on Available fields block and then click on 'plus' button on right side( one above P).
Your field would be moved to Right side.
Also you can click on a field and click on show properties button and directly mention the column where you want this field to appear( Make sure you are edit mode so that you can change the column names). Also while doing this please make sure the columns you are entering are not occupied by other field.

Internal errors during Query Builder

Please help me to correct a problem. Database user has a very simple cube: a measure with two dimensions. User (named "warehouse") owns it, the fact table, the dimension tables etc.; client application connects using warehouse account too.
While QueryBuilder makes a data source, one dimension (providers) fails at the some selections; for example, selections "top 10" and "last 3" works, but selection "measure value > 10000" fails; the other dimension (services) works great with all selections tried.
"Fails" means that selection step can be selected (moved from "available" to "selected" box), but cannot be configured (edited) at any manner, both in the left and right boxes - for example, I cannot edit value "10000". This selection cannot be applied too. Visually query builder does nothing, but prints exception trace (see below).

Receipts after Archive and Install

I just did an archive and install and all appears to be well, except that the HD/Library/Receipts folder on my "Previous System" has many more receipts than the new one. The missing receipts are for apps still installed.
Any advice.

this article Mac OS X 10.4: About installation options states:
"You might wonder, "What do I do with the Previous System folder?" It may contain items that you need. To determine this, once you've finished configuring, installing, and updating your applications, compare the Previous System to the new System. If there are things in the Previous System folder that aren't in the new System folder, just copy them over."
Details on what files and folders are moved are available here: Mac OS X: About the Archive and Install feature. One of the bulleted points is: /Library (All items here except /Library/Application Support, which is left untouched on the Mac OS X volume)

Verizon ellipsys update did not fix the app memory problem!

The Verizon update for the ellipsys did not fix the original issue with the storage of apps on the device. The update gave you the capability to move apps to your tablet space; but, the device's pre installed apps cannot be moved. Those apps take up roughly 500mb of the allotted 1gb of space.
This tablet was meant for my parents to use and they can't be sitting here umistalling and disabling preinstalled apps just to use there tablet.
Please include in the next update a reallocation of memory for more app storage space. I have already moved all available apps over to the tablet space: I have 4 gigs open on their tablet and only 200mb for apps? Crazy sauce...

I called Verizon 2nd level tech support and they assured me there is NO ED06 update's said they haven't even finished rolling out ED05 yet. I think they just told you that to get you off the phone. I also have a Fascinate and have had problems and can't get them to replace my phone with a different device. I want the Droid Charge since it is the only other one that has the AMOLED screen that I originally chose the Fascinate for . They had a program that ended on July 28th the day that ED05 rolled out. They offered the Droidx, the Incredible 2, and the Droid Charge to replace the Fascinates that were having trouble. I had called to report my issues during this replacement program but was not told that it was going on and now they won't give me the Droid Charge because it has expired. I think since there are STILL issues-they need to bring this program back and allow us to get a different phone. I have been a customer of Verizon for 10 years and have 7 lines so I am REALLY disappointed that they can't work with me (or other customers ) especially since it is not something we did to the phone. It is a problem with either Verizon or Samsung. I don't know where to go from here but maybe if they hear enough from others that didn't have any success with ED05 they will start to replace them. I will probably go to a higher level to voice my concern. Let me know if anyone has any success getting a new device especially the Droid Charge.

Motion Tracking a Dolly Shot

I'm having a little trouble figuring this out. Thought someone on here might have done something similar.
The shot: A person walks down a sidewalk. The camera dollies parallel to them so it sees a wide of their profile. The person disappears and reappears in the shot as the camera dollies.
Is there a good way to pull off a poor man's motion tracking effect like this? Certain plug-ins to use to get it right?

Here's what I'd do. I'd shoot a clean take of the actor with a dolly shot with the dolly on track if possible and the camera locked off. Have an assistant keep track of the time.
Once you have a clean take, roll back and take another shot.
If you don't have a dolly and track then do the best you can to keep the shot as close as you can to the "good" take.
Now you need to track both shots in Mocha. There a re tutorials on how to track a moving shot available. You would stabilize both shots, lay the clean plate over the plate with the actor and crop it with a soft edge mask big enough to cover the actor. Did you get that? You want to lay the clean plate over just the area where the actor is. Make any adjustments necessary to the timing of the shot to keep things lined up by using time remap on the clean plate.
once you have the composited shots looking like there's no actor in the shot , then you can use transitions, fades, or other effects to bring in your actor by eliminating the top clean portion.
Once this is all set up, remove the stabilization on the actor plate making sure that the clean plate is tied to it by parenting.
Don't expect to be able to hold this hide the actor effect for more than a few seconds without dolly track. If you carefully watch the reference video you'll see that there's not a lot of exact frame matching going on. There just kitschy transitions between takes. The first one is especially awkward and there's a big jump that's hidden fairly well by the transition. In fact, I can't see anything except the distortions of the sidewalk and the overlays that probably used motion tracking.

Share workbooks

I'm having a problem sharing workbooks with other users. I have two users; User1 and User2. User1 created the workbooks and has no problem opening the workbooks. When User2 logs in the workbooks show up in the open dialog box but can not be opened. I have attempted to use the ShareWorkbooks form but no workbooks are displayed in the form. Also, when I look at the User->Workbook tab, User1 is not even displayed in the drop down. Any help is greatly appreciated.

share the workbook with even allowed to see the
information?
What I mean is, is that you as a user may be allowed
to write a report against a business area (bus1) and
a folder in that business area (fold1).
Then when you want to share the report with another
user (user2) you can do it.
However:
1. user2 may not be allowed to view any folders in
business area (bus1) as the Disco Admin has not
allowed it (ie: you're an AR manager and he's just an
AR user)
Whats an AR manager? How do I check this?
- if this was the case, I would think user2 could see
the workbook name in his File->Open list, but when
run gets no / errors in retrieving metadata.
User 2 is supposed to have full privileges. How do I check this?

I am really new to this.
I have set-up a good few Business Areas as User1 which is a user with privileges (according to the DBA).
I have produced a load of reports which I have tested and now want to deploy to the various users in the company.
As User1 I have
i. logged in as the Administration Edition
ii. right clicked on the Business Area and gone to taken the security option
iii. Selected the Business Area in the 'Business Area -> User' tab and moved the available user/roles over to the selected user/roles.
iv. Hit apply
v. Do I need to click 'Allow Administration' here? I dont want User2 to administer the Business Area.
Then as User1 I have (while still logged into the Administration Edition)
i. Gone to the Tools -> Privileges menu option
ii. Allow User 2 User Edition access to everything and click on the apply option. When this didnt work I then gave User2 access to Administration as well.
When I check User2 under the User/Role tab User2 has access to everything now.
When I access the Administration Edition under User2 I cannot see the business Area.
Next I went into the Oracle Discover User Edition as User1 and
i. Opened an existing workbook - This work book is from the Business Area used above
ii. Click on File -> Manage Work Books -> Sharing
iii. Move the user across from the available to shared side in the dialog box.
iv. click Ok
v. Log out (after saving)
I now go into the Oracle Discover User Edition as User2 and I cannot see any of the work books I have shared.

Description of EEWB field displayed in WEB UI

We have created a custom an assignment block in WEB UI, as a part of upgrade activity 5.0 to 7.0, in which EEWB fields are displayed. The requirement is to display the description corresponding to the value of that field.
Details are as follows:
After upgrade, from 5.0 to 7.0, the EEWB fields are available in BOL entity BuilHeader as STRUCT.ZZXXXXX.These fields are just moved from "Available Fields" to "Displayed Fields" in Configuration .
Now the requirement is to display the DESCRIPTION associated with the current value of that EEWB field. The table name for the EEWB field is known.
What are different ways to acheive this functionality? Any pointer is appreciated.

If the field description is not coming as expected in displayed fields, we can edit the description from the Field properties option of that field from the configuration tab.
If this field's description changes need to be applicable in all the components wherever used, we can change the description from the Design layer so that the changes will be replicated wherever the field is used.

Reinstalling 10.3 w/ archiving - what is actually saved?

I was thinking of just re-installing 10.3 on my drive that just won't start as it seems to be missing 2 files, as detailed in VERBOSE mode at attempted startup:
/system/library/frameworks/corefoundation.framework/versions/a/corefoundation
/system/library/privateframeworks/netinfo.framework/versions/a/netinfo
If I re-install 10.3 using the archive feature, will it preserve ALL my files including those on my DESKTOP? I have a bad habit of leaving folders on my desktop and not in the mac specific pictures/files/etc folders. The instructions say that all USER data will be preseved(presumably for easy migration back into a re-installed system) but was unsure if desktop files and info were user specific.
At this time, I am in the middle of installing 10.3 on my new drive (over my 10.4) in an attempt to locate the two files, thinking that I may be able to copy these files back into the old 10.3 HD that won't startup properly.
I know I'm kinda crazy (wife says just erase the darn drive - I've already recovered all the photos) but I'm compelled to find out what happened here and if those two files were the source of my problems to begin with. I'm also curious where the **** these two original files went.

Cannot convert it to warehouse order for returns

I had created an allocation table for product recall purposes.
I am able to create the return PO to vendor thru VL10B.
However, I am not able to use VL10B to create the warehouse order from stores to DC.
It is always configured to be from DC to Stores.
Even ticking the RETURN flag is of no use.
Can some one assist?
I want to create several Warehouse order from the allocation table with several stores transfering back the items to DC for consolidation and then, the items to be returned to vendor.

Hi,
If your sloc is WH managed , you will have a reference movement type for each IM movement type, which leads to WH movement type. In the standard system , movement type 161 , returns to vendor , leads to a ref movement type 161 thereby movement type 601 .
In WM the goods are moved from available storage types to the destination storage type (916) (needs to be defined before use ) and bin, bin no can be created dynamically with delivery number.
You need to maintain movement type 601 for your WH. You need to create transfer order and confirm transfer order before PGI.
WM Movementype settings: SPRO-> Logistics Execution-> Warehouse Management ->Interface -> Inventory Management ->define Movement type .
To define WM movement :SPRO-> Logistics Execution-> Warehouse Management ->Activities ->Transfers -> Define Movement type.
Check if all the settings are maintained , there should be no problem if all the settings are made.

Personalization Issue in Webui

Hi Experts,
Previously I had posted a thread Error in Quotations (Posted on 28th Dec 2010).
Quotation details(Overview page for Quotations) of 2 specific Quotations could not be viewed in Webui using one login-user id.
But it can be viewed by another user.
Eventually, this problem was solved by executing the report BSP_DLC_DELETE_PERSONALIZATION .
Obviously, this report will delete all the Personalization data , which can be reset to default by the user manually.
Now, another issue arises. That is, as soon as any personalization is done the problem is back ( Quotation details could not be viewed for the 2 Quotations ) unfortunately !
Could anyone propose a solution for this problem?
It will be very useful, if you give your valuable Suggestions. Thanks in Advance:)

But, now the problem is only with a field Creation type of Assignment block Items in the Overview page of Quotations.
Eventhough when the Field Creation type in AB Items is moved from Available Columns to Displayed Columns through "Personalization" and Saved, it is not being displayed.
When we go back to Result List and click on Quotation Id(Hyperlink), Overview page is not being displayed.
For more Information regarding this Thread, Please go to the Thread Personalization Error in Quotations (Posted by Karthikeyan on 3rd Jan 2011).

Need a way to automatically block HU stock when moved to damage bin.

I am looking for a way to automatically block stock when it is moved to certain bins. For example, when a handling unit is moved to a Damage bin (storage type 306), I would like movement type 344 to be executed to automatically hide the stock from ATP. I know that bins can be blocked from stock placement and removal but that is not what I am looking for. I do not want the stock available for sale.
One solution would be to modify our custom RF program to do a movement 344 following the movement 999 (bin to bin transfer) whenever an HU is moved into bins of a certain storage type. However, I am looking for a pure configuration approach or any other ideas.

The reports gives you an idea abt which stock is not used from many days or which is not even used or had no movements for the same...When you see the report you can give the periods in between which the system evaluates the materials movements...if the material has no movement in the given period it is called dead stock...and if the material is consumed out of it for given period then it is called slow moving stock..
Pls check both the reports carefully...
Check MC46 - slow moving items
MC50 - Dead stock(You can say dead stock as non moving stock )
If there is no selection shown by the system then it means that all the material/stock is used properly on time and is consumed properly...

Negative stock is available for both MAP as well as Std. price.
Eg.
MAP-->
1. Mtl with MAP 1 Rs/pc & stock of 10qty.
2. GI done for 15 pcs. Each pcs evaluated with 1Rs (MAP). Stock value reduce by 15Rs. Offsetting entry takes place in consumption account of 15Rs. The stock and stock value is -5 each.
3. Post GR of 10pcs with PO price 3Rs/pc.
Now GR/IR should credited with 30Rs.
Negative stock (which issued) with 1Rs. But incoming mtl. is of 3Rs/pc. So difference of 2Rs for Qty 5 (Neg. stk) of 10Rs. will posted to Price Difference account. And remaining 20Rs posted to stock account.
Std. price.--> step 1,2 remain same
3. Post GR of 10pcs with PO price 3Rs/pc.
Now GR/IR should credited with 30Rs.
Durin GR Stock account posting will be 10Rs but due to negative stk value the net stock value will be 5 Rs. Remaining 20Rs posted to price difference acct.

Delivery date not confirmed on the same day even though stock available

    Hi Experts - We are creating an STO in Brazil where stock is moving from 1 plant to another plant.
    Current ATP situation is as follows: which shows 22 EA still available.
We are creating the STO from the plant 3004 to plant 3005.
We are confused why the system is proposing the delivery date of March 17 instead of March 14, in spite of sufficient quantity being available.
We do understand that it takes 03/17/2014 because of the upcoming weekend. But when stock is available on March 14, we would have expected this result.
These are the key configurations that I have done:
Material Master:
MRP View: Planned Delivery Time is 0
MRP Type: PD (MRP)
Checking Group: 02
Assign delivery type and checking rule config for Material Master is also done as follows:

Yes If Stock is available for material & still date is changing in STO creation than may be this could have happened due to time zone setting,
2 option-I would request you   also go through Stock requirement List (MD04) & check where some pending order is lying & some purchase orders if yes then first block them,
Sometime it heppens if earlier for same material you would have created Sales order (qty is 20) & stock available qty is 15 & still with 15 qty you would have done PGI.& after some time your would have done migo for the same shortage material & this time 5 qty material could be adjusted in shortage order that's why if you go through md04 then you would be able to block shortage qty which is adjusted,n now date is showing deff,
