Stock Transfer Order between company code

What is the system setting for the STO between company codes.

Steps to make STO between two plants (Different company codes).
1) Create one Customer Master in XD01 with respect to Supplying Plant Sales Area and assign this Customer no with Receiving Plant in OLME->PO-> set up STO->Define shipping data for plant and for the supplying Plant assign the above sales area. (Make sure, In Customer Master, sales Area Tab: you are maintaining shipping condition)
2) For Receiving Plant Pur. Org and Co.Code Combination create Vendor master in XK01 and in this vendor master assign the Supplying plant in Pur.Org.Data screen->Extras--> Add.Pur.data
3) OLME->PO-> Set up STO------> for your supplying plant assign document type NB, Delivery type NLCC and Checking Rule RP
4) Then for your supplying Plant and receiving Plant assign Document type NB
5) Make sure you are maintaining Sales View for the material at supplying Plant and in Sales /Gen plant Data view maintain Availability check, Loading group and Transportation group.
6) In SPRO-->Logistics execution> Shipping->Basic shipping functions->Shipping point Determination>assign shipping points-> For your Loading group, Shipping Condition and Supplying plant combination, Assign shipping point
These are the configuration settings you have to do in background.
Then Create STO from Receiving Plant in ME21N with document type NB.
Based on that STO, Create Delivery in VL10B from supplying Plant
Do PGI in VL02N from Supplying plant
Do GR in MIGO at Receiving Plant keeping outbound delivery as a ref. document.

    Create a puchase order ME21N ---> Save
    Delivery VL10 G ---> Calculation rule (appropriate) --> Assaign the purchase order number here and execute.
    Select the Delivery creation line and do the back ground process.
    Start the log display and see the delivery document number by the documents button
    Goto VL02N --> do picking and PGI --> Then do the MIGO with respect to the delivery document.
    Billing (Intercompany pricing conditions should be set).

  • Stock transfer order between two storage locations in IS Retail

    Hi,
    I want to have a Stock transfer order between two storage locations in the plant.
    I have activated the "Activate Stock Transfer Between Storage Locations", now i can create a STO and have the "Issuing SLoc" tab.
    Having that i get an error message "Not possible to determine shipping data for material XXX" Message no. 06280.
    I am trying to have the shipping data in customizing for set stock transfer - "Define Shipping Data for Plants", but my site is not listed due to the use of IS Retail. Is there a way to configure it?

    Dear All,
    We have the requirement, where in the stock tranfer order (between 2 plants in same company code) instead of Material valuation price, MAP/Standard (depends on Price Control) gets picked up from supplying plant ,user should be able to enter its own price while creating stock transfer order.
    For fullfilling this requirement, I have created new condition type(where i have changed condition category from internal price "G" to "H" - Basic Price)
    Instead of using condition type- P101 in the stock transfer pricing,I have used above created new condition type, in pricing procedure then also while doing the post good issue against the outbound delivery( move type-"641", moving average is getting picked up.
    Can you please tell,where is the setting where we can make the system to consider manual given price while creating the stock transfer order instead of picking moving average price.
    Its very Important requirement ,please Provide valuable Inputs else provide some alternative.

    Stock Transfer Order between Plants in the same Company Cpde are not relevant for pricing, as there is no billing. Billing only takes place between company codes. As same company code it would be like selling something to yourself - it doesn't make sense.  The stock value in the receiving Plant depends on the price contol there. If standard price, then you must enter the price when creating the material or use material revaluation to change it. When you transfer the material from the issuing plant, the value there will be transferred. In case of standard price any difference is posted to stock transfer differences. If using MAP then the value will be transferred from the issuing Plant in full.
    If you use costing with standard price in main plant, then it is possible that you can transfer the cost from the main plant to the second plant, by using special procurement key for costing.

    Hi Read this fully and configure accordinngly
    Configure Inter company Stock Transport Order
    Material should exist in both the plants (Delivering & Ordering),
    Internal customer should be assigned to the ordering plant ( MM -> Purchasing -> Purchase Order -> Setup stock transport order -> assign the internal customer to the ordering plant and assign the Sales area of the internal customer.
    Assign its Sales area to the delivering plant
    Assign the document type and Delivery type NB and NLCC
    Assign the Supplying plant --> Receiving Plant --> NB
    Take the delivering plant and assign the sales area.
    Vendor master has to be created and assign the supply source (Delivering Plant).
    Create a purchase order ME21N ---> Save
    Delivery VL10 G ---> Calculation rule (appropriate) --> Assign the purchase order number here and execute.
    Select the Delivery creation line and do the back ground process.
    Start the log display and see the delivery document number by the documents button
    Goto VL02N --> do picking and PGI --> Then do the MIGO with respect to the delivery document.
    Billing (Intercompany pricing conditions should be set).
    AND
    1. Customer No. for the Goods Receiving Plant - OMGN
    2. Availability Check- Checking Rule (if necessary) - OMGN
    3. Assign a Delivery Type for the Delivering Plant - OMGN (for Stock Transport Orders, NLCC)
    4. PO type (which i believe you have done) - OMGN
    5. Assign Vendor No. to the Supplying Plant (done) - VK02
    6. Assign Customer No. to the Purchasing Plant for the Inter-Company Invoice (but you need to assign this to the Sales Organization pre-assigned to the Purchasing Plant),
    IMG-SD-Billing-Inter Company Billing-Define Internal Customer No. by Sales Org
    ***and by the way for the Invoice to work between Cross-Company Plants, you need also to have a Sales Org for the Supplying Plant and a Pricing Determination Procedure
    INTERCOMPANY PRICING:
    PI01 Inter company: fixed amount per material unit
    PI02 Inter company: percentage of the net invoice amount
    These condition types specify that the price charged by the delivering plant to the sales organization is shown as a statistical value in the sales order and an effective charge in the internal invoice.
    The condition records you create and maintain for inter company billing are the same kind of records that you create for pricing in general.
    IV01 Inter-company Price ERLOS Revenue
    IV02 Inter-company % ERLOS Revenue
    STO:
    STO CONFIG:
    The following steps have to be followed in order to configure stock transport order between two plants.
    1. Create a vendor for the Company code of the receiving plant using account group 0007 via T-Code XK01.
    2. In the purchasing data view assign the supplying plant and the schema group
    3. Create customer with the sales area of the vendor.
    4. The shipping conditions, the delivering plant and the transportation zone determine the route in the STO.
    5. In the pricing procedure determination relevant to the STO assign document pricing procedure and customer pricing procedure to get the pricing in the invoice.
    6. Maintain condition records for pricing condition.
    7. Maintain carrier as a partner in the customer master.
    8. In OMGN select the supplying plant and assign the company code and sales area. Similarly select the receiving plant and assign the company code and sales area (The company code to which the plant is assigned to).
    9. Assign the delivery type and checking rule to the document type.
    10. And finally, assign the purchasing document type to the supplying plant and the receiving plant.
    11. Create the STO using T-Code ME 21N and save.
    12. Check for release strategy if any and release using T-Code ME 28.
    13. Create delivery in background using VL10G.
    14. If delivery is created, it is an indication of correct configuration and master data creation.
    Stock transfer between two plants in different company codes is known as inter company stock transfer.
    Material shoud be maintained in both supplying and receiving plant MM01
    Sotck should maintain only in supplying plant MB1C
    Create receving plant as a customer in suplying plants company code and sales area XD01
    Assign this customer number in receving plant detials OMGN
    Assign supplying sales area in supplying plant details OMGN
    Assign delivery tupe NB for in combination of supplying/ receving plants.
    Create STO ME21N
    As it is normal there in the item details wer should get shipping date i.e customer number
    Go for Delivery VL10B
    Shipping point *****
    Select PO go for execute
    then select the delivery then go for delvy ............create delvy,,,, delvy nubmer generated.
    Goods Issue VL02
    Delvy doc **********
    Click on picking
    enter the picking qty
    Click on PGI
    in the mean time check in the PO history you will get the details
    Goods receipt MIGO
    Stock overview the stock will be updated....
    P.O Order types and Delivery Types
    STO: - Stock Transfer Order
    Stock Transfer between Two Plants with One Company code.
    The Purchase Order Type is Used in this case is "UB",
    And the Delivery Type Used here is "NL"
    STPO:- Stock Transfer Purchase Order
    Stock Transfer Purchase Orders Between Two Plants with Two Different Company Codes.
    The Purchase Order Type is Used in this case is "NB",
    And the Delivery Type Used here is "NLCC".
    INTRA COMPANY STO.
    1. There should be two plants in the given company code for intra STO to
    happen.
    2. Assign Purchasing org of the ordering to the supplying plant.
    3. Create a customer in the supplying sales area.
    4. Assign the customer to the ordering sales area.
    5. IMG > MM > Purchasing > PO > Setup STO > Define shipping data for plants
    here go to supplying plant and mention its own sales area.
    6. In the ordering plant assign the customer created in the supplying sales area
    and also the supplying sales area.
    7. Maintain checking rule as 01.
    8. Assign the delivery type NL supplying plant checking rule and PO Doc type
    UB.
    9. Assign document type UB supplying plant and ordering plant then decide up
    on either 1 step or 2 steps.
    10. Create PO with doc type UB.
    11. Go to VL10B give the PO No. and enter, select the line item and click back
    ground. (Where Del. Will be created in the back ground)
    12. Go to VL02N for picking and PGI.
    13. If 1 step no need of doing MIGO else for 2 steps do MIGO.

  • Transfer costs between company codes

    we have requirement that the factory overhead costs ( example electricity cost) transfer from one company code to another company code?
    how can we do this?

    Have you tried creating a distribution cycle using KSV1?  You can distribute costs from one cost center to others basing either on certain predetermined percentages or a variety of receiver tracing factors.  And you can activate real-time integration of CO with FI to ensure the CO distribution posting flows thru to FI.

    In a company, goods movements do not only occur in the form of goods receipts and goods issues. Depending on the organization of the company (for example, decentralized storage) and its sales policy, internal stock transfers might also be necessary.
    The stock transfer with delivery is a plant to plant scenario. You are posting a goods issue in plant BP02 and a goods receipt in plant BP01.
    This type of stock transfer can only be carried out from unrestricted-use stock of the issuing plant to unrestricted-use stock of the receiving plant.
    You post the placement into storage at the receiving plant in a second step. Only then is the event completed and the transferred quantity part of unrestricted-use stock.

    Creating a Planned Independent Requirement
    Creating a stock transport order in plant BP01
    Generating a delivery in plant BP02
    Picking of the material and posting the goods issue in the delivering plant
    Posting the goods receipt in the receiving plant
    Key Points
    The quantity posted from stock is first of all managed as stock in transit of the receiving plant. Only once the goods receipt has been posted is the quantity posted to the unrestricted-use stock of the receiving plant. This enables the quantity "on the road" to be monitored.
    The transfer posting is valuated at the valuation price of the material in the issuing plant.
    Delivery costs can be entered in the stock transport order.

  • Transport order between company codes

    Hi,
    I have the following question:
    We are setting up the system where transport orders are being used between two company codes.
    Is it possible when transport orders are being used and stock is available in the supplying company to not accept the transport order from the requiring company? So that the order is NOT automatically accepted and processed. This because stock must be available for other purposes for example?

    The invoice has the material costs at time of goods issue.
    You receipt is valuated to PO price. But when you post the invoice, then the MAP is adjusted,
    By setting up EDI, SAP will probably post the invoice before the goods receipt is done, hence the GR should be valuated with the invoice price.

    With which price is the goods receipt posted for a purchase order?
    Answer:
    If the goods receipt is executed before the invoice receipt, the goods movement is valuated with the purchase order price. If an invoice is already posted, the system uses the price of the invoice. If a partial invoice is received, the partial quantity corresponding to the invoice is valuated with the invoice price, the rest is valuated with the purchase order price.

    Sorry for delay.
    you can goto SPRO> Enterprise Structure> Assignment> Human Resources Management> Assignment of Personnel Area to Company Code for assigning personal area to company code.
    then you can goto the t-code PP02, Where Object as 'S' then position number then Infotype should be 1001 then Subtype is A011(for mastercost center) then create a realtionship with valid date intervels. After that you can run the action to update the cost center in IT0001. {Where Master cost center and company code assignment can be done by  FICO people.}.

  • Good Receipt with reference to delivery or stock transfer order

    We have a stock transfer order between two plant. Requirement is as under.
    Steps - Supplying plant is creating stock transfer order, doing delivery with reference to STO by VL10B.
    Receiving plant is doing Good Reference with reference to delivery or STO t code MIGO.
    Now the requirement is if A Plant is supplying 100 nos, at the receiving plant it should not allow less then 100 nos. it should give error that qty is not match with delivering qty.

    After STO and delivery PGI is done.
    Then GR is made with refernce to STO.

    This explanation is not in detail and hence I am not clear about your configuration settings. 
    First go to IMG Logistics-General => Tax on Goods Movements => India => Business Transactions => Outgoing Excise Invoices => Assign Billing Types to Delivery Types.
    There ensure that you have assigned the billing type JEX (assuming that you are using the standard) to your delivery type NL.
    Perhaps, you can also try with "D" for your item category in Billing Relevance field but I am not sure this will solve your issue.  Try in development client.

  • Stock transfer between company codes

    Dear Experts,
    I am doing stock transfer between two different company codes.  Purchasing order type wil be NB & SD delivery type will be : NLCC
    i have done  all w.r.t configuration requirement for between company code, when i go for ME21N, unable to  get purchasing order type NB but its showing only UB & item category U.  systme giving message like : item category U & pur order type is UB would like to proceed. But it would be for between plants within same company code.
    Please assist me where i am doing wrong...

    Dear Badari,
    I don't understand. Do you say that you just start ME21N and can only choose order type UB there? In this case it has nothing to do with the question if the STO is cross-company or not, since the system doesn't know the plants yet.
    I would assume somebody just deleted the document type NB in your customising or you are not authorised to use it - please start ME21N again, observe the error (can't choose NB), leave the trs and run trs SU53 to check your authorisations.

    The valuation of Comapny Codes is at Moving Average Price.
    I have a scenario
    MAP of Issuing Plant-- Rs. 10 / kg
    I am able to pick up the price of Rs.10 (MAP) of issuing plant while creating PO.
    in receving plant.
    At the time of Goods issu the MAP has changed & become Rs.12/kg. Hence the goods issue takes place at Rs.12/- perkg.
    When we make GR at receiving plant ,the valuation of GR is at Rs.10 i.e at PO price.
    Is it possible to have a GR valuation at Goods issue price for that delivery note?

    in my business transaction, inter company stock transfer is there. For that i am configuration all the things under set up stock transfer order.
    Now i am creating purchase order, it is coming fine with shipping data in line item level and i saved.
    after that i want to delivery with reference to purchase order in VL10B.
    i am giving the purchase order and execute. but there is no line item in VL10B. only blank.
    can anyone tell me what is the problem and is there any setting?

    Hi,
       In VL10B just put the "Shipping Point/Receiving Pt" as input parameter and make blank "delivery creation date" and "CalcRuleDefltDlvCrDt",Try executing and check if your P.O reflecting or not.
    Check your shipping point is correct (Delivering plant)

    Hai Mohan,
    STO is done mainly in two ways
    Intra company stock transfer means , stock transfer between two company code.
    Inter company stock transfer means , stock is moving in between two plants of same company code.
    Configuration steps for Inter company STO:
    1)you need to have  two plants assigned  to  two different company codes respectively,
    2)one is supplying plant another is recieving plant , material should be extended to both the plants (ie. maintain views for both the plants for the material in MM01  t. code )
    3)make sure the ordering plant and supplying plants are assigned to sales org and distri channel combination....in enter prise structure assignments)
    4) go to SPRO-->Material management > Purchasing>Purchase order-->set up Stock Tranfer order,
      >defone shipping data for plants
    >creating checking rule
    >define checking rule
    >assign delivery type and checking rule (with purchase order type NB , delivery type NLCC , checking rule B, (default order type in delivery type NLCC is DL )
    >assign document type, step procedure
    5) create a dummy vendor for ordering company by t. code xk01 and add delivering plant in the add prchasing data tab in xk02 , this vendor is the representation of supplying plant
    6)in the sales order type DL , by t. code vov8 , ensure billing type IV inter company billing, and in the billing doc  IV ensure pricing procedure is 'I ' and maintain inter company pricing procedure assigned properly, so that to bill the ordering plant /company by delivering company
    7) create STO by T.code ME21N (create purchase order) with purchase order type NB
    8) create delivery,  by t. code  VL10 B (purchase orders fast display) (select the line item, and click on back ground, then click on the item and log button, then click on the item and documents , then the delivery will be showned in display mode, convert it to change mode and do picking and PGI
    9) then do MIGO  ( with that STO no.)
    Regarding Intra company STO,
    the configuration is same as that of Inter company STO , except , the purchase order type is UB and delivery type is NLC
    and steps are the same ME21N , VL10B and MIGO
