Stock Transfer using Two Step (QI & Block stock)

Hi All ,
Is it possible to receive material QI / Blocked stock of receiving plant ??
Another query is ... can I transfer QI / Block stock of supplying plant to another plant ??
I have a business case where I have to transfer QI stock from one plant to another Plant using two step.

As a rule cross-plant stock transfers is done only through unrestricted-used stock only.

Problem while creating table maintenance generator using two step

Hello All,
I have created a Z table in which I have 7 fields, out of which 6 are character fields and 7th field is of type INT4
Now when I create the maintenance generator using TWO STEP approach, the 7th field i.e., of type INT4 is not available in the first screen (the table control screen). This screen only has 6 fields for display.
But when I click NEW ENTRIES button, I get the next screen which has all the 7 fields.
But if I create the maintenance generator using SINGLE STEP, all 7 fields are displayed in the first screen.
Please suggest. Let me know if you require some more explaination.

Hi Tarun,
Go to the layout and increase the size of the Screen. or at the screen attributes change the length and width values.
You know that initially the screen occupies default size only.
Hope this would serve your purpose.

Stock Transfer Order two step process

Hi!
we are following stock transfer order in two step process along with WM
we are using movement types 641 & 101.
Now our client rerquiement is : when goods issue is posting in supply plant ( movement type 641), the accounting entry should be Goods in Transit A/C dr TO Stock Account Cr.
when goods receipt is posting in receiving plant the accounting entry should be : Stock Account a/c dr to Goods in Transit A/C, if there are price differences it will be posted to price difference accounts ( both have price control "S").
how can we acheive this.
Now only at the time of 641 or 101 we posting the accounting document as: Stock A/C dr ( receiving plant) to Stock A/C Cr ( issuing plant) and price difference.

we can a report in MB5T, but there you cannot find value of the stock, only quantity of stock, as in STO, there will not be any price, that is the problem.

Hi people , i´ve activated split valuation for MaterialX , it has two Valuation types ( Production and Purchase ) . The problem arose when i tried to do a two step transfer between plants ( mov 303 ) and i got the following error msg :
Use one-step procedure for transfer posting to mat. subj. to valuation
Message no. M7048
Diagnosis
In the receiving plant, the material is subject to split valuation. For this material, a stock transfer cannot be carried out using the two-step procedure.
Procedure
Use the one-step procedure (movement type 301) or a stock transfer order for the stock transfer.
The message is very clear itself , but... i just wonder if there`s actually any way to avoid this, considering that having to create a transfer order for each movement will duplicate work and using a one step transfer won´t be practical. I tried to change the error msg into a warning but couldn´t find it in customizing. Thanks for any comments on this !

Csaba Szommer, Kunal ingale , i read the OSS note and the pdf and indeed everything confirms it´s not possible to do the two step movement. So , i tried the stock transport order and something else appeared here. When creating this type of order , the system first ask for a Supplying Plant , then you can populate the material , quantity and the destination plant. But then it asks for the Valuation Type of the material involved, and it seems this field is Mandatory . Is it possible to make this field on the transport order as optional ? I couldn´t find this field at SPRO-MM-Purchasing-Purchase Order-Define Screen Layout at Document Level .
I need this field to be optional for the following reason. In my company there´s a relation between two plants , Plant A ( from where products are dispatched to the customer ) and Plant B ( where the material is produced with valuation type "Production" and sometimes is buyed from vendors with valuation type "Purchase" ) . The idea is to run an MRP which will generate the material needs on Plant A considering the Sales Orders. This need will be then transformed (automatically by MRP ) in Stock Transport Orders with Supplying Plant "Plant B" and receiving "Plant A". The problem here is that , at the moment of the transport order creation it´s no possible to know which will be the valuation type of the material that will satisfy the need. I mean , Plant B ( production and buying plant ) will check the list of needs for Plant A and then will decide which material ( with which Valuation Type ) they will provide considering the actual stock levels at the time of the MRP run.
In a few words, i see the only way to do a two step transfer of a split valuated material is using Stock Transport Orders , is there a way to make the field "Valuation Type" optional ?. The idea would be to choose the Valuation Type of the material at the moment of the Good Issue. Thanks a lot , once again.

What do you mean with "inconcistent to my storage type definition?", is that mean i can process two step transfer without using PO/delivery process or one-step movement? coz according to business requirement, we must use two step transfer considering to the distance between plants is so far and we want to make it the simple way so that PO/Delivery process isn't better solution. I think, this is an standard procedure all company over the world can use but just the reason of split valuation the system can't execute the transaction.
Is there any config i miss to? is there any user exit i can use for this requirement? please help me..

Material loss tracking in two step transfer posting with in plant

Here the case is material will going loss when shifting one storage location to another , here i am using two step procedure . so how can i track rhe loss here . our client want to post loss value to production account only and also they want to know total loss in report . How it can be maintainable?.....which is right method for this .

You can scrap the material that underwent losses either at issiuing location (reverse GI for that much qty) or at the receiving location (do GR then scrapping).

Pending transfer posting 2 steps

Dear Experts,
I wanted a report to show all the pending 2 steps transfer posting document i.e the documents that has not been received in the other location. I checked even for a query but the table mseg does not have the reference document so that I can know the article documents that have not any referencing document then it is not received. but unfortunately I can not because it is not captured. can someone tell me what to do? also I don't want to make the lengthy process of stock transport order

Thank you for your immediate reply but i want the pending transfer posting document numbers. Not the stock in transit (the stock in transit is for the STO process but the stock in transfer is for transfer posting two steps). In addition, I know that I can get the stock in transfer from mb52. I don't want to know the pending stocks. I want to know the pending transfer posting material documents. Moreover, from another point of view if i get the stock in transfer only I will not be able to track this stock is belonging to which article document so that I can finis the next step.

HT204152 Apple ID Disabled & Lost Recovery Key (Two-Step Verification)

If you use Two-Step Verification:
If your Apple ID is disabled "for security reasons" AND you lost your Recovery Key ALL HOPE IS NOT LOST! Speaking from a recent, nearly devastating experience, I hopefully will provide some relief to others in the same boat...
After speaking to several customer service representatives who basically told me that without the recovery key, there was no way to access my account and everything would be lost forever, I finally spoke with a senior customer service representative that actually understood my issue (most thought I just forgot my password).
As it turns out, my account was locked due to too many incorrect PW attempts (not exactly sure how that happened). I was prompted to go to appleid.apple.com and when trying to log in, prompted to enter my Recovery Key. I couldn't get further than that. What I didn't realize and the other reps didn't tell me was after 8 hours, the account is unlocked. I was then able to log in at applied.apple.com and verify my account using a trusted device. I was then able to create a new recovery key (and print it out and put copies everywhere so this wouldn't happen again!).
Lessons Learned: 1. Don't lose the Recovery Key again! 2. When talking to Apple Customer Service, ask to speak with a senior customer service representative. 3. Wait 8 hours without trying to log in and your Apple ID is unlocked again.

we all have had unsatisfactory results with entry level CS techs. Your advice to be assertive about speaking with a Senior Tech is sound and where I have ALWAYS found satsifaction. Methinks the proprietary Customer Service Knowledge Base may be running the same software as our forums - Terrible searching is a rule here. - the other two suggestions are very good as well - ÇÇÇ

Two step confirmation for warehouse tasks in EWM

Hello everybody,
I am working on an internal prototyp to evaluate SAP EWM. Therefore it is essential that we use "two step confirmation" for warehouse tasks. Step one: confirm pick up of a pallet; Step two: confirm transportation of a pallet. Like it is used in SAP WM (Parameter I_QUKNZ in function module L_TO_CONFIRM and in standard SAP).
I haven't found anything similar to that in EWM so far. I searched in the official EWM SAP Press book and also in google. But right no I don't have any idea.
Do you guys have any hints on how to achieve two step confirmation somehow?

I am trying to configure Two Step Intercompany Pricing but it seems I am missing some configuration.
The scenario is we have two company codes
CC-1--> Always Procures Articles for CC-2
DC belongs to CC-1 and Store Belongs to CC-2.
Please advise what are the configuration steps to arrive at Sales Price using two step Pricing Procedure.

LT45 (Picking Progress) and Two Step Confirmation

Dear all,
I have Two Step confirmation in place for one WM movement type and I am happy with it.
We also use Multiple Processing for Deliveries. As a result, the Groups created by this process are used to monitor the Picking Progress in LT45
In LT22 or LT24 there is clear distinction between Open TO's, Confirmed TO's and half Conirmed TO's (yellow triangle.
Much to my disappointment I cannot see such a distinction in LT45.
Is there a way or another Monitor available that does show me the different statusses? A yellow bar if the group is half confirmed is too much to ask, but an alternative would be nice.

Thanks for reading my Question.
I am talking about TO's that use Two-step Confirmation. In LT22 / LT24 they show as Yellow Triangle, as you know this means half confirmed.
As you know in LL01 they don't show as yellow but as red, just like in LT45. So this is very misleading.
Can you tell me a place where I can clearly monitor my Picking Progress and see a distinction between Green, Yellow and Red
(Confirmed, Half confirmed, Open)

Mail and Gmail two-step verification

For the last several days I've been encountering an issue with Mail.app and gmail where my application specific password is valid for one day only. This is not the case for the application specific password I have set up to work with Mail on my iPhone or any other apps. I have used two step verification successfully for months until one day, inexplicably, I was alerted that my password was incorrect. As I mentioned, this happens now on a daily basis.
For what it's worth, I've tried what's listed in this thread to no avail.

I used to have that sort of problem,
first you could go to the connection doctor on you mac (it's on your 'Window' - > 'Connection Doctor' )
then check if your google account 'Smtp tab ' and 'Imap tab ' are all on the green light
If one of it is not connected ( Which means 'red' light ) , here is my solution .
Go your keychain access ( comman + space 'keychain' )
click tab 'LOGIN'
On the search tab Find either SMTP/IMAP (Depend which got the red light)
There will be several accounts shown up if you have multiple email account registered on you mac mail.
find manually the account of your gmail account (Double click each one of it to check which account it )
Check again if you have 2 key chain on one single account
After you find your google account on your key chain and check the box "SHOW PASSWORD"
Change the password according to the google 2 step verification password
click save changes . (enter your admin password)
