Did you check in Transaction OMS2 for your related material type where the 'Quantity Update' indicator checkbox is activated for your relevant plant?.

Hi,
When doing usage decision for inspection lot the following message appears.
"25 EA Incorrect posting to unrestricted stock ,error msg:Order 702610 cannot be processed".
702610 is the Product Cost Collector.
The inspection lot was created during the goods receipt from REM backflushing from MFBF.

could you please varify if the the stock quantity of the inspection lot is correct.
If this true could you check if you have created reserve samples?
Or if you have set the flag destructive inspection for any of your characteristics.
It would help in this case if you could also tell us which inspection origin is affected and when the inspection lot is created.
Example: Inspection origin 04 Early inspection lot creation 'Y' -> The GI was posted from production and the posted ammount does not correspond with the ammount set up at production begin. This can cuase the described issue.

Sales order stock error in Process order confirmation

Hello SAP Gurus,
In Make To order scnario while I do COR6 order confirmation it gives me Error that Sales order stock does not exist.
Can anyone suggest me which way I can remove the error?
What is the Transaction and movement to transfer stock to SALES ORDER?

Hi,
As per your mail, you can move the stock from normal stock to sales order stock through transaction MB1B with movement type 412 E. This route is generally follow if want to assign stocks manually to sales order stock otherwise if follow the PP route then system generates the stock against the sales order line item at the time of produciton confirmation and requirement type use in this are KSL, KE.

Unable to post in MI07 for sales order stock - Error Check Table XMSSA

Hi,
When I try to post in MI07, I get the following error Unable to post - Error 'Check Table XMSSA
Unable to post - Error 'Check Table XMSSA: entry 0000000000010011000 CA01 E 1500004153 000010 does not exist
It has something to do with sales order stock. But I am not sure what is causing the issue.
SAP error details:
Check table XMSSA: entry 000000000010011000 CA01 E 1500004152 000010 does not exist
Message no. M7001
Diagnosis
In table XMSSA the entry 000000000010011000 CA01 E 1500004152 000010 is missing.
Procedure
Make sure your entries are correct.
If table has not been maintained correctly, please inform your systems administrator.

Sales oreder stock error

Hi gurus,
I am trying to deliver 4 line ites of a Salesorder, but the error comes up saying Sales oreder stock doesnot exist.
But when i chck in MMBE, two lin items have the stock but the remaining two donot show the stock in MMBE.
If thats the case then it should only show error for only 2, but why for 4 line items. Plz help

If stock is not available for any of the line items then, it will give message collectively.
Check in 0VLP
And mark following as;
Check quantity 0 - A Note about the situation
Check minimum qty - A Note about the situation
Check overdelivery - A Note about the situation
It should not be "B" - Situation rejected with an error message

Safety stock error

Hi Experts,
Pls check the below screen shot of planning book, the issue is related to safety stock.I have maintained safety sock method AT,service level,Demand Fcast Err&RLT Fcast Error and run safety stock planning but system didn't create any stock . Can anyone help to know the reason for it?

I can not see the screenshot. AT is an extended safety stock method. It needs the uncertainties in the supply chain are statistically independent from one another. AT is using alpha service level and reorder cycle methods. The alpha service level is event driven. Crucial here is the number of periods in which no shortfall quantities are expected. For example, if there is a service level of 90%, no shortfall quantities are expected in 90% of the periods. In the reorder cycle method, it is indicated that purchase orders can only be made for all t periods.

can someone help me out,while posting stock iam getting error
posting only possible in periods 2002/11 and 0000/00 in company code.
i know how to close periods in mmpv but here the error is i dont have specific periods to close

Your curent month has not been intialised,
I assume that you are in a development system and not your live system.
Try transaction MMPI to initialise the period to the current one (I am assuming that you have no postings in the system so far because the date has not yet been set).

Answer is in SAP note [64448|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/64448] :
The stock segment must first be created for this material.You can do this by, for example, posting an initial entry of stock balances (movement type 561 + special stock indicator).
If you then immediately reverse this posting again afterwards, you have the missing stock segment with a book inventory balance of 0. The physical inventory count can then be entered.

Go to OMS2, select the material type and click on Qty/Value updation on the left tab.
Now you will two boxes one for Quantity updation and another one for Value updation.
Select only both updation and try.

Stocks - Error retrieving chart more often after update

Is anybody else finding the Stocks app less reliable after the update?
I sure wish there was a way to configure different sources.

Doubt you will find one. They are working fine with other tools that check (eg: Yahoo Widgets). Odds are they are using a WebService and odds are have a specific one for Apple iPhones to use (embedded in the SOAP message with apple info to let them know it comes form iPhone).
With that said, odds are it is protected that only an iPhone can make that specific request, and it is in that WebService that Yahoo may be having the problem.
At least being a developer, that is what I would assume they are doing (webservice).

Error: Deficit of SL stock.in.qual.insp

GR posting for inbound delivery posted successfully in EWM and ECC with status COMPLETED. If i see the stock comparison in ERP system:
There is difference qty appearing in ERP side as quality inspection stock . i.e. for example there is an item in delivery with delivery qty: 12 EA, it is
updating WM qty as 12 EA. but ERP stock showing as 11 EA with Deficit of SL stock.in.qual.insp 1 EA.
Some times behaving like, if there is qty 40 EA of item, but it showing as 60 EA - Deficit of SL stock.in.qual.insp for that item in SMQ2 ERP side.

Here is the report from last 6 months and message, what is showing at SMQ2 ERP side.
Delivery - 973414923 with line item qty is: 2EA. which is deficit of stock error now in ECC SMQ2.
When i see in EWM for Document generated with ERP delivery - all the items with all the activities in "Completed" status, but in header of the EWM document shows Warehouse activity and
Putaway staus are "Partially COmpleted".
ECC side - delivery status is COMPLETED.
Material: 1S3889 Plant 0001 Sloc 0001

Error Message from BDC program

Hi all,
I'm facing the following situation: when i run a call transaction program for VL01:
DATA:   MESSTAB LIKE BDCMSGCOLL OCCURS 0 WITH HEADER LINE.
CALL TRANSACTION 'VL01N' USING bdcdata MESSAGES into MESSTAB.
sometimes when an item has no stock, i get the error message:
    MSGTYP = E
    MSGID = VL
    MSGNR = 643
    MSGV1 = '1'
    MSGV2 = 'UN'.
    MSGV3 = ''
    MSGV4 = ''
the problem: when i compose this message with FM - FORMAT_MESSAGE, i dont get the material code, to wich the loss os stock error referes to, since is not returned from call transaction execution (in messtab). How can i determine to which material code the error refers to ?
As anyone faced the same situation ?

If you know the material number which you passed to the BDC, you can simply use that, if you are passing mulitple materials for one call of the BDC, then I don't think you can know which material it is erroring on if the message does not bring it back.

Deficit of BA stock in Quality Inspection

Hi All,
I have a situation that's a bit complicated. I hope I don't confuse anyone. I'm trying to do a UD for an item, but I'm getting a Deficit of BA stock in quality inspection.
We purchased 200,000 of an item and a GR was done. This was done during inventory, the item was physically counted and someone made an error in the count. At that point an inventory adjustment transaction was done deducting 151,000 from inventory, leaving 49,000. I believe that somewhere in this mess someone cancelled the material document that was created when the 200,000 was received in the first time, so technically, the 49,000 doesn't really exist in the system.
Later that day, when it was discovered that the physical count was entered incorrectly, the inventory adjustment transaction was also reversed.
As a result of the above we now have two inspection lots hung up in QI, one for 151,000 and one for 49,000, and we can't seem to get rid of them.
When we attempt to do a usage decision we get the following error message:
"49,000 EA incorrect posting to block stock, error msg:
Deficit of BA stock in qual. insp 49,000 ea:"
BTW, none of these quantities (The 49,000 or 151,000) shows up in MMBE. We've tried posting the stock in QA32, but of course it doesn't exist. What are we missing?

If lot status is ' REL CALC SPRQ' that means this lot is not canceled, you should be able to post. If the lot status would have been LTCA then selection profile will help you in filtering canceled lots.

Since system allowed you to do inventory that means stock of 2 lacks was available that time in unrestricted.

If inventory is done and only 49000 stock is remaining, document can't be canceled, may be somebody must have again done inventory and removed that 49000 also.

I still believe that the status can't be REL CALC SPRQ, one more thing, you said you purchases 200,000 then how you get two lots of 151000 and 49000? what insp type is activated please confirm?
If stocks are not available then you should Block the lot as nothing is required from this lot.
If status is 'REL CALC SPRQ' then go to MIGO and cancel that document strait away.
Pl check and revert.

Problem on Goods Issue Order for stock in SU managed staging area

During Goods Issue for production Order - mvt 261 - (both in case of MIGO or MB1A) an error message is received in case of material to be consumed in a storage unit managed area (control cycle setting).
Error message - negative stock can't be created in SU managed area.
Movement type 261 is used with standard SAP configuration on movement type configuration and IM/WM interface.
Could someone help me explaining if SAP foresees the possibility of goods issue related to production order in case we set a sU managed area in the control cycle.
The expected behaviour for the system is to:
- create material document on IM
- create negative stock in the interim goods issue area (914)
- create the related the transfer orders or requirements from SU managed stating area to 914
Unfortunately the negative stock error message is received and the goods issue posting is not possible.
