I have bought lightroom 4 and adobe creative suite 6 design standard on cd´s.
Now got a new mac book pro without a cd-drive. How do i Install the programs on my new computer.

You can copy installer on some other computer take it to this computer in a Flash Drive/ USB Pen Drive

Hello, I have a subscription with Adobe and I have downloaded some programs in two PC.
On of this Pc is out of work How can I download my program in another Pc ( a new PC)…I remember that with my kind of subscription I could download my programs just into 2 ps..is it correct?

Yes, that is correct. The end-user license agreement allows you to activate your software on two computers. If you'd like to activate on another computer, you'll need to deactivate on one first. Installing Programs Without The Disk Drive Icon Loading On Desktop

I am super anal and don't like any icons on my desktop and I am wondering how, when installing programs, you can install them without the disk drive icon being left on the desktop?

Oh, right, sorry, one thing I didn't mention. I DO like to have CDs and DVDs and such show up on the desktop when I (seldomly) have them in my computer.
So, is there any other way? If I uncheck the CDs and DVDs line then this solves the disk drive icon but also gets rid of my CD icons.

Computer crashed/no backup/how download new songs without losing old

My hard drive crashed. I did not back up my itunes library for my ipod mini. My library is wiped out but my son has songsin the new library he created. If I attach my ipod to load some new songs onto my ipod will I lose the songs I now have on it.

i want to use my ipod to store music on, so when manually managing files is it necessary to have the files that are on my ipod, on the pc, whenever i want to add new files??.. i tried manually adding music but it wiped all the movies and notes i had on my ipod (but no longer on the pc) so obviously i went wrong somewhere :/

I've moved everything from my old PC to the MacBook, but now that I hook up my iPhone, iTunes is telling me that to sync my apps with the new MacBook will mean replacing all app data on my iPhone with data from the computer. Do File > Transfer Purchases. All of your in app purchases will be transferred over. It should also back up the data.

Stolen computer-How do I delete my email account from that device

My old computer was stolen, and because I had NOT activated the "find my phone" on the computer (only my phone) I cannot remotely erase the computer.
I would, at least, like to ensure that no one can access my email on that old computer. I changed the password. Is there anything else I can do?

You can make an alias, your current address will still be functional but you don't have to use it, the same will be true if you open a new iCloud account as well.
Do you suspect that changing the password will not stop others accessing the account?

Can't download new program without bluetooth connection but I'm on dsl

Everytime I try to open up a new program in my applications folder my mac tries to connect to bluetooth but I'm on dsl and I can't figure out how to connect to the internet with the options it's giving me. I've gone into my preferences and made sure that my connections are ok so what am I missing??? Somebody please help.

It sounds like your programs are looking for info on the internet.. could be just looking for/checking for updates.. nothing wrong with that.
You say your on DSL, but when this happens are you connected to the network? If you are, I can't think of a reason why you would be prompted for a Bluetooth connection.
And the other posted is correct.. if you move your Ethernet/Dsl connection to the top of the list it should prompt you to do something with your DSL connection.

You could call from your program the function module called SXPG_COMMAND_EXECUTE where you will call a command already defined in SM59 transaction code. You will maybe control the return code with sy-subrc. Then it will possible for you to extract data...
Don't forget that every time you call GUI_UPLOAD or any method or function from the frontend function group or ABAP object by classes like cl_gui_frontend_services, it will be impossible to run in background.

If it's tray-loading CD/DVD drive the shiny side should be underneath, i.e. the printed side uppermost. For a slot loader - as you insert the disk the printed side should face you, the shiny side faces backwards.

I have a 2009 iMac that I want to install Windows 7 on. I have both a Windows 7 iso and a Windows 7 DVD. However, my cd drive is a mess, and upon trying to install Windows 7 from the DVD, the installation failed miserably 3 times at expanding windows files 0%. From there it just freezes for more than an hour and then gives me an error.
Now, my Bootcamp Assistant has an option to create a windows 7 install disk, but unfortunately it is greyed out.
My question to you guys: Is it possible to install Windows 7 on the iMac without using the cd drive?
I am using Lion, if that is helpful. Also, the Windows 7 DVD works fine, as I have already installed Windows on my 2011 iMac from it.

I'm in a similar situation. Attending an online university and I need to use Access. But of course, Microsoft doesn't make a Mac version. I can get Windows through the university discount program, but only as a downloadable .iso file and a verification key. My drive works fine, I just don't have an actual CD/DVD to put in there.

How to install Leopard without working DVD-drive?

I have a MacBook Pro 3,1 (A1226) without a working DVD-drive and I would like to replace the existing 80Gb drive with a 320Gb drive. The hardware is no problem, I did that a few times already, but how to get the OS working?
I have an TimeMachine backup on a USB-disk of the 10.5.8 (9L31a) installed system. I do not wish to upgrade because there is some old licensed software on it that does not work with a newer OS.
I also have another MacBook Pro (with 10.7.5) I could hook up with an Ethernet-cable. Theoretically even with a Firewire cable I do not have right now. But when I buy extra things I should perhaps better get an external hard disk enclosure for the 320Gb?
Please advice.

Am gonna solve it in another way. I will just get a so-called "9.5 mm PATA Optical Bay SATA Hard Drive Enclosure" and put the 320Gb drive in that one. Sorry to have distracted you.

IMac G4: How to re-format without a CD Drive?

I have had an old iMac for years and it's bee gathering dust. I would like to wipe the hard drive and restore Tiger to factory settings but the disc drive inside will not read. Is there a way to re-format and re-install without the need for the discs?

Maybe, if you have another Mac, and it has a working optical drive, and it has a FireWire port. You may be able to do it using FireWire Target Disk Mode (FTDM)

There are two way this might work...
(1) The better way would be to start up the OTHER Mac in FTDM and connect it to the iMac G4 with a FireWire cable. Insert the Tiger installation disc in the other Mac. Start up the iMac G4 with the Option key held down to go to the Startup Manager screen. If the Tiger installation disc is available on that screen, select it and continue startup. On the Installer screen, you can run the installation onto the iMac's hard drive. If necessary, you can run Disk Utility from the Utilities menu (in Installer) to erase the hard drive first. Make sure you are erasing the iMac G4's hard drive, not the other Mac's hard drive!
Note: Depending on the Mac being used in FTDM, the optical drive may or may not be available on the "host" Mac.
(2) The other way will NOT work, if the OTHER Mac is a newer Intel Mac. If it's a PowerPC Mac (that can run Tiger), it should work. Start up the iMac G4 in FTDM. Connect it to the other Mac started up normally, and confirm that the iMac G4's hard drive volume appears on the other Mac's Desktop. If necessary, you can use Disk Utility to erase the iMac's hard drive. Insert the Tiger installation disc in the other Mac and have it restart from the optical drive. When you get to Installer, target the iMac G4's hard drive for the installation. MAKE SURE you are NOT targeting the other Mac's hard drive for the installation! This method is a bit less desirable, because the Mac that will use the system is not performing the installation. But I have done it before with Tiger, and it has worked. Mac OS X Tiger systems seem "universal" between Macs that are PowerPC, but NOT between a Intel Mac and PowerPC Mac.
