STOMP - balance incoming/outgoing message rate?

Hello,
I have set up a STOMP client test application for OpenMQ (4.6 on Windows Vista) which runs two threads, one is continuously sending messages to a topic, and the other consumes them, using client-side ack.
The results show that the broker accepts new messages at a high rate (up to 1,000 messages per second) but sends them to the client at a much lower rate (200 to 400 messages per second):
2006 sent/received/tp: 992/377/187 msgs/s (5347 microsecs/roundtrip)
4006 sent/received/tp: 2328/1547/386 msgs/s (2590 microsecs/roundtrip)
6006 sent/received/tp: 3344/2337/389 msgs/s (2570 microsecs/roundtrip)
8007 sent/received/tp: 4817/3341/417 msgs/s (2398 microsecs/roundtrip)
10007 sent/received/tp: 6195/4030/402 msgs/s (2487 microsecs/roundtrip)
12007 sent/received/tp: 7851/4605/383 msgs/s (2610 microsecs/roundtrip)
14007 sent/received/tp: 9843/5034/359 msgs/s (2785 microsecs/roundtrip)

46010 sent/received/tp: 46648/8082/175 msgs/s (5714 microsecs/roundtrip)

Is there a way to configure the STOMP plugin so that the input / output speed is more balanced?
Many thanks in advance

If you check your FBZP settings for your country (Payment Methods in Country) - there you have defined method C as "Outgoing Payments"
Please define another Payment method as incoming payments.
Then define it in the Cr / Vr master data.
Then Run APP.
You should basically follow the process for configuring and running APP properly, if you don't want thesse error messages.
Search forums for more on detailed steps.
Cheers!

  • Setting Attachment limits for incoming & outgoing messages

In the Netscape console for the Iplanet Messaging Server 5.1 there is an option
under HTTP for maximum size limit for outgoing attachments. I would like to set a
size limit for all incoming and outgoing messages to 4096 KB (4 MB). These would
include connecting IMAP & POP3 clients as well. I found documentation in the
Reference Manual under Absolute Message Size Limits (blocklimit, noblocklimit,
linelimit, nolinelimit, sourceblocklimit). However, I am unsure if this is the right
information I am looking for and if it is how to go about setting it. Can anyone
    help??

that is the correct way to set the limits. You can control weather or not it applies to incoming or outgoing messages based on that channel you place the limit on.
For example your clients sending mail out come in on the tcp_intranet channel. Messages from the internet come in on the tcp_local channel.
To limit the attachemtns you accept from the internet you would place the restrictions on the tcp_local channel. To limit attachements from local users you'd place the restrictions on the tcp_intranet channel.

  • Count incoming/outgoing messages

    Exchange 2k7 on Windows 2k3.
Is there a way to count the number of messages going through my exchange server without the use of a 3rd party app? I was thinking is has to be possible with a VB or powershell script but ensure where to start.

Any chance you can post the contents of your script?
I can give you an example for what you're wanting to do.  Mine is considerably more complicated, and is accumulating stats per user, broken out by total and unique messages and bytes sent (one 1MB email to 5 recipients is 5 total messages and 5MB total
bytes, but 1 unique message and 1MB unique bytes), and that broken down by internal and external messages, and received messages are broken down by external, internal, and internal automated (SCOM alerts, etc), so there is a lot of logic involving checking
the source IP that won't translate very well to someone else's systems.
    Briefly:
    $hts = "hub_server1","hub_server2","hub_server3"
    $start = (get-date).adddays(-1).toshortdatestring()
    $end = (get-date).toshortdatestring()
    $logs = $hts |% {get-messagetrackinglog -start $start -end $end -server $_ -resultsize unlimited}
    $stats = ""| select sent,received
    $logs |% {
        if ($_.eventid -eq "Deliver"){[int]$stats.sent += 1}
        if ($_.eventid -eq "Send"){[int]$stats.received += 1}
    $stats | ft -auto
    [string](0..33|%{[char][int](46+("686552495351636652556262185355647068516270555358646562655775 0645570").substring(($_*2),2))})-replace " "

  • RAT dropping outgoing messages

    Hi,
in my configuration, a couple of ESA at the edge with one listener and one phy interface i enabled the desired domain, example mydomain.it,
in the RAT and then all others blocked. What happened is that for some other domain, public domain like google and aol for example, i started recieving dropped messages because refused by the RAT for outgoing messages. I had to open the all other which i really don't like it. Is this a normal behaviour ? how can i fix it?
    thanks a lot
    smaikol

    Hello Michele,
    To build on Robert's response.
I would suggest to look at your message tracking (located in GUI > Monitor > Message Tracking)
Check the emails which were rejected where recipient is @gmail/@aol etc.
Check the "ICID and sendergroup" information and action.
    If you see:
(ICID XXXXXXX) ACCEPT sender group SENDERGROUPNAME match <IP of your outgoing exchange server IP> SBRS XXXX
Then it is likely your outbound emails are being treated as INCOMING emails where RAT checking is done.
If so my suggestive action is:
GUI > Mail Policies > Mail Flow Policies
Check for an available "RELAY" mail flow policy, if none visible, create it.
Create a new mail flow policy
    Name it "RELAY"
Action for this mail flow policy should be chosen as "RELAY" and not accept
Leave the rest as it is and submit this mail flow policy.
Then go to GUI > Mail Policies > HAT Overview
Check if you have a RELAYLIST enabled, if you see no RELAYLIST
    Add a new sendergroup
    Name it RELAYLIST
Mail flow policy to use "RELAY"
Order it "1" on the list
Leave the rest blank, submit and add senders
Here add the Sending IP of your exchange server which is routing outbound emails here
Submit this sendergroup and sender. Your HAT overview should now be updated with the RELAYLIST using RELAY mail flow policy.
Then go to your RAT table.
Re-enable REJECT for all other domains (do not work as an open relay)
    Then commit changes.
    Re-try your outgoing email.
Now outgoing emails should match RELAYLIST and thus not using the RAT table.
All other email servers will (and should) match the other Inbound sendergroups as the IPs of external servers should not match the RELAYLIST as its not defined in there.
    I hope this helps.
    Please keep us updated.
    Regards,
    Matthew

  • Log every incoming messages and outgoing messages in OSB

    Hi,
There is a customer who owns a service platform with hugely traffic.
We wants to sell him the OSB.
But he wants to keep record of every incoming and outgoing messages in the platform, so if there is any problem in the platform, he can quickly identify the problem.
Is there any function or tool to do this feature in OSB?
    Thanks for any suggestion!

He wants log all incoming and outgoing messages and related information (ex: message id) into DB, so his administrators can easily track down specfic messages. For these type of use cases we provided report action. OSB comes with default report provider , but you can as well right one if out of box report provider doesnot t not suite you requirements. http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E13159_01/osb/docs10gr3/operations/reporting.html
Other option would be to use WebLogic Logging Services to capture the proper log information and store to DB. I remember log4j has that ability. http://e-docs.bea.com/wls/docs103/logging/logging_services.html

  • Remove all incoming/outgoing text message sounds?

How can I turn off all incoming/outgoing text message sounds without turning the phone ringer off?
    Thank you.

There is no option to add additional sounds for those alerts.

  • How to view "From" header field in OUTgoing messages in Mail? Frustrating.

In Mail v.4.3 (in OSX 10.6.4), I need to view the "From" field in my outgoing messages as I am composing them. However, there seems to be no setting in Mail which allow this.
I find this very frustrating because in Eudora (which I used to use), the "From" field in outgoing messages is visible by default. But in Mail, not only is it not visible by default, there seems to be no way to make it visible.
In the "Customize..." button to the left of the Subject field in outgoing messages, one has the option to add as default outgoing message fields "cc," "bcc," "Reply-To," and "Subject," but none of those are what I want. It allows one to also view the address of the mail server, but that also is not what I'm looking for. What I want is to see my outgoing +email address+. And nowhere is there an option in the Preferences to turn this on. (At least as far as I could tell.)
In fact, the only way to see the identity in the outgoing "From" field is to go to Preferences, then click on Accounts, and look there; or send oneself a test email. Both of which are a hassle and should be unnecessary.
In case you're curious as to why I want to see my outgoing "From" header field:
I have several different "personas" online, each of which uses a different email address: My work address (with a work-related domain); my family/personal address (with a different email address than my work address); an online avatar I use in various gaming sites (also with its own address, since I don't want to use my personal name/address in the gaming community); and so on. However, I have all incoming emails to all accounts auto-forwarded to the same central email account. Most of the time I'm just replying to business emails, so my outgoing "Full Name" and "Email Address" (in Preferences>Accounts) are generally set to my business name and address; but on occasion when I want to reply to a non-business email and not have the recipient see my business email address, I go in to Preferences>Accounts and change "Full Name" and "Email Address" (i.e. what is displayed to the user) to something different. And when I'm done with that, I change it back to my business address.
However, sometimes I forget if I've changed it back or not, or forget what I've changed it to. In Eudora, All one needed to one was create a new outgoing email and it would display the "From" field so I could instantly see my outgoing identity. But in Mail, there is no "From" field in outgoing emails, so I'm constantly nervous and wondering which outgoing identity I may have changed to and accidentally forgotten to change back from.
(Yes, yes, I know that if a recipient wanted to be snoopy, they could look at the "full headers" of any incoming email and see the name of my email server, which may different from my displayed email address; but we're not talking about spy-stuff here, I'm just trying to not confuse people and keep business separate from personal.)
So: is there any way for me to see the outgoing "From" field in the emails I send? Or am I condemned to constantly (and mostly unnecessarily) checking "Preferences>Accounts" to see what I have enetered there?

    Thanks for replying.
What is the "compose window" to which you are both referring? I could find no reference to such a thing in the Mail menus or Help.
Do you mean the "Composing" pane in the Preferences? I don't see what either one of you is referring to there, but I did notice there something that could function as an awkward workaround: If I click on the "Automatically CC myself" box in Preferences>Composing, then when I start a new email, my email address is displayed in the "CC" field -- and luckily, Mail allows me to then delete my email address out of the CC field, so I don't have to spam myself with duplicate copies of all my emails. This way, I can at least briefly see what email address I'm using, before I delete it from the CC field. Pretty awkward and unnecessarily laborious, however -- still not a perfect solution.
Or, by "composing window," are you referring to an outgoing email? As I said in my original comment, I do see what Ernie called "a small box with lines and an arrow at the bottom left of the header box." This is what I had to say about it:
+"In the "Customize..." button to the left of the Subject field in outgoing messages, one has the option to add as default outgoing message fields "cc," "bcc," "Reply-To," and "Subject," but none of those are what I want. It allows one to also view the address of the mail server, but that also is not what I'm looking for. What I want is to see my outgoing email address. And nowhere is there an option in the Preferences to turn this on. (At least as far as I could tell.)"+
In other words, when Ernie says, "click the box beside From," I can't do that -- because there is no such option. That's the whole problem in the first place. If there was a "From" field beside which I could click a box to make it appear, I would have done so! But there is no "From" field in the "Customize" section of the "small box with lines and an arrow at the bottom left of the header box."
I find it completely mystifying that both of you seem to be able to see a "From" field available to be added to the header of outgoing emails, yet no such option is available to me in Mail. What possibly could be causing this? 10.6.4 is freshly installed on my machine, and Mail seems brand new and uncorrupted. And I'm using Mail 4.3, the latest version.
Are you saying that everyone else can see an option to have a "From" field in their outgoing messages, but I uniquely don't? Very very very strange.

  • Mail Server "Type" and Mail Server "Address" for Incoming & Outgoing Mail

First, the only browser I use is Mozilla's Firefox, the best browser hands down. Second, I have both a Yahoo email account and a Google "gmail" account that I use regularly (daily). I am trying to set up a mail washing program to rid myself of these ridiculous spammers & scammers, however I need to the the Incoming & Outgoing mail server "type" & "address" to do this and I seem to have guessed the yahoo settings, but I can't seem to get the Google gmail account set up properly. Yahoo settings that worked are: Server Type="POP3" and Server Address="pop.mail.yahoo.com", with advanced settings: Secure Authentication=Required, Secure Connection (SSL)=Required, Store Cached Emails=Yes, Server Port Number=995 (set), Pipelining=Enabled. The equivalent settings for the Google gmail account result in an error message = "Failed to log into POP3 Server". Of course user name & password triple checked, Type=POP3, Address=pop.mail.gmail.com, and , Address="pop.gmail.com" tried also, Port and other settings the same. Where can I find this info for both accounts? Tanks a million! -jw

Yahoo and Gmail support should be able to help you.
Not related to Firefox support, web mail doesn't use POP or SMTP protocols which is what email clients such as Thunderbird use for communicating with email servers.

  • Can not get outgoing messages to work despite 3 hrs Apple technician!!!!!!!

I have now worked another 4 hours on this issue. And had help from India as well.
After 3 hours with India technician the issue could still not be solved.I now know that the below settings are correct.I have a case number and tonight spend another 4 hours but no outgoing messages!!!! Except sometimes using one account only but I have 10!!
Maybe I have to give up and accept that the mail is never going to work.I now use a windows computer for my mail. UUE unbelievable unacceptable error from Apple
Result all my accounts read the messages.
The accounts are yahoo/xtra New Zealand
The G mail has an own outgoing server and in connection doctor the light is shown green.
If I can send I do not know yet.
Now for all yahoo xtra accounts I use the same server.
The providers instruction for a NEW account I established is:
    -Incoming Mail (POP3) Server pop3.xtra.co.nz
    Use SSL,port 995
    -Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: send.xtra.co.nz
Enable SSL,port: 465 and enable SMTP server authentication
Print this page for your record.
My conclusion is despite upgrading to Snow Leopard 6.1 where was promised that mail issues had been solved the result is zero and I am sure it is not the providers fault.
I will give here again the link in Google and hope somebody will know what is at hand here.
I was told that some guy in Apple care is supposed to know???
I do not have Apple care.I have spend a lot of time and hope somebody may stand up to get it really sorted out My link found in Google:from which I started.

Too bad for words this issue UUE from Apple!!!! Clogz14

I received a complaint that my last post was not so clear and I have updated this post here.
I have now configured Thunderbird and after help with setting up by my provider Yahoo/ Xtra. Thank you for your telephone help of 3 hours from Philippines today Yahoo/ Xtra. It all works fine now with Thunderbird.
I now receive and can send E-mails from and for all 10 sub accounts.Today I received an Apple survey message to valuate my experiences. The case number that was given and is not solved at all is
136901000 The very good Apple technicians name is SHIVARAM.It is not his fault that the issue could not be solved.A shame the Apple survey indicated there would not be any follow up of the issue.!!! I just had to phone again!!!
It shows the arrogance that has entered the Apple organization.
Imagine how many people are loosing time with this issue in my case about 2 days!!! Just after installation of a product they call Snow Leopard I payed 59 $ for !!! It should actually have been called Slow Leopard ! only one letter different.!!! Just as my computer only one program failing!!!
Apple version 4.0 E-mail Program.See how they are going to fix this!!!!
So New Zealand needs to talk to India-Phillipines-to get his 59$ purchased program working.!
Ridicules 6 hours now yes it is all for free 0800 numbers .Still.!!! In Europe companies let the clients pay!!

  • Payment on Account in Incoming/Outgoing Payments

Please tell me what is the purpose of Payment on Account in Incoming/Outgoing Payments forms and also in what all combinations I can use this feature.

    Hello,
Basically it is used to accept the payment not based on certain invoice (open invoices) if you tick the field (tick box field). You must manually reconcile the payment to the invoices using automatic internal reconciliation or link invoice to payment feature that is available in banking module --> bank statements and reconciliations --> link invoices to payment. If you use the reconciliation option, you will also must create balancing journal before reconcile the transaction (i.e. open transaction in debit and credit side reconciliation balancing journal).
let me know if you need further explanation.
    Rgds,

  • Outgoing message frozen

I tried sending an email with approximately 300 recipients in the BCC line. It was rejected with "The server “smtp-server.stny.rr.com” did not recognize the following recipients:". It then listed all 300 or so of the recipients. This message page is overlaid on the original outgoing message.
The overlay can't be moved so I can get to the original message and edit the recipient list. The overlaid message continues below the edge of the screen, so I can't get to the bottom of it (scrolling doesn't work on the overlay) where there's typically a set of buttons to edit the message.
You can't drag the message to the trash. Shutting down and restarting does not make it go away. There is no function on any of the Safari menus that works in relation to this problem (ie, delete, etc). Even the little "x" button (delete) in the upper left corner of the rejected message is grayed out and can't be used (but the minimize/maximize buttons do work).
The only thing I can do is put it on the dock. Everything else (other applications, etc) functions fine when I do that, including incoming and outgoing mail. I've previously divided the recipients into 4 groups and sent 4 emails to reach everyone, so that's the only difference in the way I sent this email. Clearly the problem is the number of recipients, since that's the only change.
The issue is entirely not being able to get rid of this message and having to live with it forever on my dock. Any suggestions?

        Hello ketcheeup,
Group messaging is one of the most efficient way to communication with multiple people at once. This is SUPER convenient when communicating with co-workers. May I ask have you tried the step that Ann154 provided? Thanks Ann154. If so then what's the results? If you can advise us on the status of the issue then we can help, if more is needed.
    Thank you...

  • Outgoing Message Size Limit?

I realize that in SA or postfix.conf I can limit the size of incoming messages, but can/should I limit the size of outgoing messages?
Currently the limit is set at 10 MB in SA and this seems also to be throttling the outgoing message size to 10 MB -- does the limit work in both directions?
Postconf shows: messagesizelimit = 10485760 and client messages in excess of 10 MB are not being sent.
    Cheers

I'm pretty sure this is a 2-way setting for both in and out mail. I would say basically the logic on this is what ever size mail you dish out you better be able to take it too, lol. Alex can chime in if I'm wrong. Nowadays 10MB is a good limit but be aware that the receiving mail servers need to be able to accept the size your sending as well. If you set your limit to high and people send file over the 10MB size you'll just be wasting bandwidth to your ISP since your server will send it out but it will get rejected once the other mail servers sees it's to big.

  • IChat 4.0.9 Incoming Text Messages Aren't Received

    Hi All,
I am troubleshooting a problem with iChat 4.0.9 after upgrading to Mac OS X Combined 10.5.8. After installing the system update for OS X 10.5.8 on January 6, 2011, I no longer receive incoming text messages. Outgoing messages are received but incoming chat requests and responses to my messages are lost. Video and Audio chat work as normal, only the text messages are impacted.
I've looked at the system security settings, the firewall is set to allow all incoming traffic.
Apple recommended that I trash iChat and reinstall from the system disks, but the system won't take the disks that I have (I'm assuming because I'm on a newer version of the system), and I cannot find a 10.5.8 download (the 10.5.1 download also would not install).
Also of note is that the system shows that iChat was updated on January 30th, 2011 (another system update was pushed on this date).
Any ideas or thoughts on other things to check?
    Your help is much appreciated.

    Hi,
The Process is to stick in the Install Disk then open it in the Finder.
Expand the Window to see the Options Installs part.
Launch the Optionals .mpkg and it will launch the Installer.
This will run like any other installer that dos not require a Shut Down.
You will be presented with a Applications list
    Select Just iChat.
(No Printer of other apps stuff)
    Press the Continue button.
Reinstall the COMBO update to Update iChat afterwards

  • How to make a DKIM signature for outgoing messages in Thunderbird (SMTP-server does not support DKIM)?

SMTP-server does not support DKIM signature.
How to make a DKIM signature for outgoing messages in the Thunderbird?

I'm not familiar with this particular use of the terminology.
Thunderbird has S/MIME support built in. You can add PGP support via the Enigmail add-on. Both offer the means to sign and encrypt messages.
I see add-ons to support the checking of DKIM-signed incoming messages, but haven't found any yet for signing.
Is it something that an email client is entitled to do? The Wikipædia entry says
<blockquote>Both modules, signing and verifying, are usually part of a mail transfer agent (MTA).</blockquote>
and that means a server, as opposed to a client (MUA).
