Stop Adobe CC transistions adding to head and tail of clips?

Hi All,
Really like the Adobe CC upgrades. One thing I'm not digging is how hitting the add transition shortcut key adds a transition to the beginning and ending of both selected clips.
In cs6, you highlight two clips and hit the transition shortcut and it'll add a video and audio transition where the two clips meet.
Now doing that same action adds a transistion to the video and audio of the head and tail of both clips. Meaning it adds 3 transitions when it used to just add one transition where the clips meet.
Now I end up having to delete the head and tail transitions to keep using the keyboard shortcut to add a transition only where the clips meet. Is there a setting somewhere to adjust how the add transition button behaves?

It's also worth getting used to using the track targeting and CTI method. Rather than selecting anything on the timeline:
Target the track(s) you want to work with by clicking the track name to 'brighten' it.
Jump to each edit point using the up/down arrow keys.
Press Ctrl/Cmd-D to apply the default transition.

Workflow: Editing Head and Tail of Raw footage

I'm new to Premiere Pro. Using CS5.5. I'm shooting 1080i AVCHD footage on site for a production. I burn everything to DVD when I come from the shoot. I copy my footage directly from the harddrive of the camera (Sony HDR XR-200) to my RAID1. I would like to be able to cut the head and the tail of some of my clips once copied to the computer to save a little space and make the clips a little easier to handle. How do I do this? The files are all MTS/m2TS (MPEG-2 H.264 AVCHD subset) I could trim them on the camera but that would be a pain and I'd prefer to be working on my 1920 by 1080 monitor when I'm making those kind of decisions. I thought of Quicktime but it doesn't like the files. I need something quick and dirty. Thx.

There is no quick and dirty way to achieve that. Well, there is one solution: get more and bigger disks. AVCHD is a long GOP format, so changing even a single frame requires re-encoding of the complete clip, causing a generation loss and thus costs you quality. Stay away from QuiRckTime as much as possible, since it is a 32 bit application, that defeats the 64 bit nature of PR.

Looking for Head and Tail burn effects

Anybody know of plug-ins or overlay clips that create the overexposed "roll-out" effect, where the tail of a clip flickers into overexposure? I would also like to find something that burns the edge of the clip to look like it was filmed from a camera?

Header and Footer publishing to Word

I'm using Robohelp 9 and having trouble modifying default header and footer when publishing to Word 2010.
Here's what i did:
I created a Robohelp "Master Page" and added a header and footer to it.
used single source "printed documentation" to publish to Word docx
The published Word doc still has the robohelp default header and footer.
Is there something i need to do to specify the master page when i publish? i don't see an option to do it or can't find this step in the help documentation.
Something else i tried: I created a header and footer in the Word template i use for printed documentation, however, it gets replaced by the robohelp default header and footer. This is actually the solution i would like to use so i can just specify a word template and go.
Also, it looks like i can create multiple "master pages" for a single robohelp project and then apply them, but i don't see how to apply them.

Indeed you may use multiple master pages. But these are normally applied to individual topics. And only a single Master Page may be associated with a topic at any given time.
The problem here is that you are expecting the headers and footers from Master Pages to carry over into the world of dead trees. (Printed Documentation) And that isn't something you may do.
If you want headers and footers in Printed Docs, you will need to specify them using Word after you create Printed Documentation from RoboHelp.

Header and Item Text is not replicating from ECC6.0 to SAP CRM 7.0

Hi SAP Experts,
When the text is added at header and item in Texts tab from SAP CRM then this is transferring into ECC6.0 but the otherway round is not working i.e., from ECC6.0 to SAP CRM.
Would appreciate for giving solution.

There are a number of oss notes to check: 1169856, 720147, 550343, and 549209
Please make sure that the text tables are included in the filter as per note 720147.
Also include the configuration as per note 549209.
It is necessary that the same text types exist in both systems so please review the configuration carefully.

Then my reader and computers were out of sync. When I try to download books I get that they were already downloaded by another user, but also that they are in my library. However, I can't find them, and if I do download, it gives me an error message that the book is DRM protected. How do I get to the point where I can download books again?

Header and Footer in not displaying correctly on each page in Adobe Forms

Hi experts,
   I need your little help on Adobe Form. I have develop a customer account statement and facing problem.
     In header and footer part I have to display customer address. It is ok if data is of one page. But when data is overflowing, customer address is showing only at first page in header, and not displaying address neither in header nor in footer(footer section will print on last page, it may be either first page or third page ) on other pages. (Address is table type data )
       Header and footer Section address has been designed on Master Page.
Please help me to resolve these two problems as soon as possible.

This can be done by bit of tweaking using JavaScript.
Actually the problem was, the header was printing continuously in subsequent pages and once the header data was over the rest of the pages contained blank header. But we need have to print same header for each group of items till that group of items finish in the specific page. And for new group of items different header will be filled and so on.
So to overcome this issue, create the item table in such a way that the header data is also included in the item table for each group of items. In the layout, select your header field and the event READY LAYOUT and write the below JavaScript code. This event is called for each page for that header field, so you can directly map the item table value and put it in your header field.

Header and Footer Items in Adobe Muse? Also Menu text being cut off half way.

How can I make the header and footer items load faster in Adobe Muse? I am hosting with Business Catalyst. Everything else loads almost immediatly on my web page, but my Header and Footer graphic- wood grain picture- take almost 10 seconds to load, and almost a minute to load on mobile devices.
As well, my menu's are not loading correctly on other peoples devices. On my lap top everything looks fine, but on other peoples devices the text in my menus is only loading half way? -only shows half the text.

Hello,
It seems to be an issue with the Font that you have used.
You have used Bubble-one font and if you check this font in Google Chrome it is cut off and if you check in Firefox, it comes up fine.
Please have a look at this link in Google Chrome and Firefox and you will see the difference : http://www.google.com/fonts/specimen/Bubbler+One
I would suggest you to use some other font in order to fix it.

Custom fields added on PO header and PO item in ME21n

hi everybody
I have added 2 fields on PO header and PO item level in ME21N screen, everything is working fine
but the issue is that if the Customer Data tab page is not opened at the Header Level, the additional fields in Customer Data tab page at Item Level are not displayed as well
Does anybody knws why this happens?

May be i wrongly explained, all the data are getting populated on the screen and in the database tables.
Its just that if the Customer tab on PO header is not opened, the fields in the Customer tab in PO item level are not getting displayed

Sydneybling it does sound like your security software is interfering with the process of installing and utilizing your Adobe Creative applications. I would recommend that you try temporarily disabling your security software and utilizing the directions listed at Install and update apps - https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html to install InDesign CC.

Running Windows Terminal Server 2003 with old version of Adobe. got the message it was no longer supported and it stopped working. Trying to install XI and it gets about 70% done and stops. Ran the cleaner on the 9.3 version to remove it. We use this

You are right: CS5 installs Flash Player 10.1 beta. You cannot install an older version of Flash Player unless you completely uninstall the beta version first:
download the 10.1 uninstaller from http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer10.html#uninstallers and save it to disk;
from a Command Prompt, run the downloaded uninstaller with the -force option.

PDF Maker adding text in header and footer

As I convert documents from MS Word to .pdf, I am experiencing a problem with what looks like additional text being placed in front of a field, which references a bookmark in my Word document.
The additional code is showing up in header and footers only.
When I place a reference field in the body of my document it converts properly. However, when it does convert properly in the body, it creates a hyperlink back to the referenced word - which is not my intention. My intent was to create a bookmarked area in my Word document that will propagate its contents throughout the document (in the header/footer etc...).
The additional text seems to be the code Word uses to reference the Word bookmark.
I recently updated from Professional 7 to 8 and installed the 8.1.2 update. This is the first time I have had this problem!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I had this a long time ago and one of my students pointed out a setting in WORD. Unfortunately I do not remember the item that had to be fixed, but it was definitely a WORD problem.
