Stop emails going out to external mail domains

DB:11.1.0.7.0
Oracle Apps:12.1.1
O/S: Redhat Linux 64 bits
Is there a way to stop emails going out to external mail domains from Wf Mailer.
Currently we are converting all suppliers with their real email ids. Is there a way to stop emails going out to external mail domains? This issue will arise as soon as someone run the payments and then vendor will automatically start receiving the emails from our test environment.

I think XDO Bursting (Delivery) is using a separate mailer (not the standard Java mailer configuration).

But for XDO bursting, we have setup separate outbound (SMTP) mailer as per requested, which is currently not have “TEST Address” set and not sure there is option to set here.

this is all greek to me. WHAT IS STARTTLS? On the first page of Apple set up there is a TLS certificate and it is marked NONE- should I change it to the long APPLE CERT option? The next page under ADVANCED: THERE IS A BOX SSL MARKED. Then IMAP Path Prefix - I put stmp.gmail.com.. is that right? Port 993 can use this one? as 456 doesn't work and 587 said it wasn't safe. Under AUTHENTICATION I used PASSWORD. Should I have used external client cert TLS?

How to stop Undeliverable emails going out..

Dear All,
Our ISP is not a happy bunny that lots of Undeliverable external emails are going out to the sender. Our GW system is version 7.0.3. I changed the GWIA's, Optional Gateway Settings, Outbound status level from "Undeliverable" to "None". The GWIA restarted automatically and it is still happening.
Any ideas anyone ?

Thanks for that. just to explain we have groupwise post-offices, then MTA, a GWIA, then a Mailsweeper server.
So from an incoming point of view, mailsweeper receives a message, passes to GWIA, I'm not sure about the next bit, but GWIA to MTA then post-office ?
If the address does not exist then what is it that sends the NDR, post-offiice, MTA, GWIA ?.

1. *Much* more infor please.
2. GWIA doesn't send bounces. Do you have a relay host in front of GWIA?
If yes, *that* is the offender.

Why Email going out from two different accounts

Emails sent out from IPhone on AOL account is also going out on Gmail account. How could this happen and how to stop it?

Could any one let me know how do I enable read receipt for every email sent out of the ERMS system. Once the receiver tries to open the email, there should be an pop-up for read receipt.

Basis can enable read receipts for email sent out of the ERMS system:
Go to SCOT. From menu select Settings > Confirmation of Receipt , here you have option to enable or disable read receipt.

SEND MAIL STATUS - why do I see 3 emails going out when I only sent 1?

I have a weird issue that scares me because I'm afraid I'm contributing to SPAM, because my Mac is haunted or infected. If I send one (1) email to myself, every 2nd or 3rd send (as a test) results in 2 or 3 messages being sent. The status in the bottom left corner says "3 of 3" when there was only one message. Nope - same thing in both places. Bottom left outgoing mail indicator and also in Activity Monitor... Sorry. Still Weird. Is there a way to test for "viruses" or other stuff I generally don't worry about? Specifically, is there an app I can download or use that would snoop for some kind of internal security issue I'm unaware of?

Want to have a different Reply to Address on my emails going out...

My boss needs to send out 7 emails to different individuals (each email is different) and he wants to be able to have them reply back to a different person... is there a way to have it hardcoded in the header of the email so that when they reply it goes to the specified address.

It's not clear from your post which of the fourteen million possible email/configuration problems you're experiencing.
Seriously - there just isn't enough information in your post to start debugging your problem.
Please start off by explaining what you're experiencing... are you getting an error message? What does it say?
Who is your network provider? Many network providers block you from sending mail other than through their servers, so you may need to configure Mail.app to use your ISP's SMTP serverr rather than Yahoo's. Knowing the error message(s) you get will go a long way to pinpointing this.

Emails going out but not being recieved

I have a .mac email acct. that I have used for over a year now. My acct. subscription just renewed about two weeks ago and since it renewed I am able to send email but the recipients are not getting them. The emails are leaving my computer and registering in my "sent" folder but they are not getting through to the folks I am sending them to. This is a little sporadic where one might get through but 10 or so others don't and I don't know what is happening to them. I don't get any notification of a problem with email addresses and a lot of the outgoing email are reply's but not getting through. Can anyone assist with this?

I have asked some of them to check their spam folders and they have come back saying they are not in there.
No, nothing sitting in my outbox and my "Sent" folder shows them as leaving the computer.

Is the software owned by the company or the employee? The software should have been registered under a company Adobe ID and not an employee. It sounds like that serial number is now associated with the employee's own Adobe account and not the company so essentially she owns that serial number. Your company doesn't sound too efficient when purchasing and managing their own software.
Your IT department should have had control of all software and ID's. Have you checked with them to see if they have access to that account? Is it possible the employee took the software with her when she left then installed it on her own computer? That might be why your serial number no longer works.
Adobe's tech support stinks especially if you ask a question outside of their knowledge and what they have on a script. They may as well have monkeys answering the phone. Actually monkeys are easier to understand than the reps are.
Maybe somebody else will come along with a better resolution. You should return the upgrade of CS6 and may have to either get the CC version or re-purchase the full-price CS6 while it is still available.

10.5.8 Shortname email addressed changed in Squirrel Mail

I've got a new 10.5.8 server, set up OD Master. I created email enabled users using WGM, using just a firstname <space> lastname which resulted in a concatenated firstlast shortname. That's fine. Email addresses were created as well and look fine in the LDAP database.
Where things have gone randomly wrong is when users using Squirrel mail have mail going out as their lastname@domain only. If you look at the Options/Personal Info/Advanced Identities of Squirrel Mail of the user in question you see an email address like 'first <last@domain>'.
Email sent from this user goes out with a bogus reply to header and thus, replies get bounced.
I have had this happen with two users that I know of so far out of about 30 created. I have more accounts to add but I don't have a clue right now why there is this disconnect between WGM, LDAP and Squirrel Mail that would cause this on a seemingly random basis.
The bad address can be easily fixed from within Squirrel Mail at the Advanced Identities screen by typing the correct address and saving. But, that's not the way things should work. The address created in WGM should carry through to Squirrel shouldn't it?

It turned out to be users logging into squirrel mail with their long name which was first <SPACE> last name. Since that's how the long names were created they were valid user credentials. Those users who logged onto squirrel mail with a space in their name (using the long name) were given a reply to: address of last@domain rather than the concatenated short name or the name that is input into the INFO section of OD.
Not the way I'd configure it to work out of the box but....

Mass change of external Contact domains?

We have a large number of external contacts in our GAL. One of the companies is having a name and email domain change.
The email addresses are staying the same except for the email domain.
For instance [email protected] is now
[email protected]
How can we do a mass change of email addresses for these external mail Contacts?
We are not changing our email domain. These are all external users added to our address list being changed.

Try running the following:
Get-MailContact | ? { $.ExternalEmailAddress -match 'domain.com' } | Sort Name | % { Set-MailContact -ExternalEmailAddress $_.ExternalEmailAddress.AddressString.Replace('domain.com','xyzcorp.com') }
This will work unless they are changing the left side of the email address as well as the right. If that's the case, you'll need an export of their addresses so you can import the correct ones.
