Stop getting voice mail emails

I have a verizon pearl. Is there anyway to stop getting a emails everytime I get a voicemail? I think that the little tape icon is plenty and it is annoying to have to delete each email.
If this is not possible, is there a way to automatically delete the voicemail emails after the voicemails are listened to??

You could set up a filter against the BIS e-mail account to block the e-mail messages from the sender's address.

So now I went back to the screen that orginally asked me for my Apple ID and passort, and instead of entering my Apple ID i entered the email address associated with it and the new password. It now tells me "You can't sign in because your account was disabled for security reasons. To enable your account, reset your passwort at iforgot.apple.com"
I have now changed my password twice and it still doesn't work.
Until I get this resolved my tablet is useless.

My iPhone 4S has stopped recording voice mail messages. How can I fix?

My iPhone 4S (sprint) has stopped recording voice mail messages. The phone is 2 months old and it stopped about a month ago, but it took me several weeks to realize that there was a problem as I initially thought that callers just weren't leaving a message. I have now tried to leave myself voice messages and confirmed that it's showing up as a voice mail but failing to record it. Has anyone ever encountered this problem and if so, what is the fix?

No iPhone records voicemail messages. Visual voicemail is simply an interface to the carriers voicemail servers.
Contact the carrier to troubleshoot the issue with their voicemail.

EDGE is down.. how do i get voice mails?

I didn't know you could actually "hold down" a touch screen button. I thought it would just register a press but sure enough I tried it and it works. Pretty cool!

There are some folks that call so much and it seems at just the wrong time. I'd like to able to block them so my phone doesn't ring and yet, still get the voice mails that I can check at a later date when it's convenient. Is there a way to do that???

My next question is, however. If I'm texting another party, and the delivered sign is not shown. Is it a possibility that my phone may have been blocked from receiving any texts?

I have been inundated with email since I joined this community today. Although I have changed all the notification preferences to NO, I am getting 20+ notifications seemingly every 5 or so minutes. I want to STOP getting all notificfations. HELP!

Perhaps you can try to take out the sim card after powering down. Wait a min or 2 and reinsert SIM then power on. If that doesn't work, sounds like it is another of the widespread issues and bugs in 5.0, unless you haven't updated to 5.0 yet. On a related note, but different phone, I had a similar issue and called my VM and slowly went through option 7 to delete messages just to make sure. I also had to have a data connection, for some reason, for the icon to disappear.

Unity Express - Incoming calls wont get voice mail

CUE works fine with telephones on my local network. Incoming and outgoing calls work fine.
However when I get an incoming call via SIP trunk the call will not get forwarded to unity express after 10 seconds. The line goes dead.
I searched for another post which suggested the following commands:

I made a new dial-peer to handle incoming calls as follows.

The translation-profile puts the call through to my 2000 extension.
This is my "show call active voice brief" when an external incoming call is ringing through to my 2000 ephone-dn.

How can i permanently stop getting "no sender" emails on my iPhone?

i have been getting "no sender" messages almost every day through my .me account on my iphone.
the only way to get rid of them is to go into settings on that account and turn the mail off and then back on.
There must be a better way to have things set so this does not keep happening.
Could my icloud be working incorrectly or is someone trying to hack my account?

If I can not set up a second Contacts folder, does anybody have an alternative way of having contact information that a person could see the information from an Outlook Format available for viewing?

How do I stop the weekly US postal service mailings from AT&T U-verse? Seriously. I've contacted AT&T a few times, and nothing works. AT&T has literally tried to steal money from me in the past, so I have no desire to ever be a customer, and I receive more junk mail from them than most other companies combined (about ~70 mailings per year). You are wasting your time, money, and our resources with this crap. Seriously, how does one make the junkmail stop?

MacBook OS 10.7.5 stops getting Yahoo Mails from 1/13/15

My MB kept asking me for YM password. I typed in a few times, got irritated I just canceled. That was on 1/13/15. I could not get YM from that on. My iPad has no problem in getting YM. I had deleted and added YM a few times, no luck. I also rebooted a few times, no luck either. Anyone has solution to this problem?

Open Users & Groups preferences. Click on lock icon and enter your admin password. Click on the Add [+] button below the users list. Configure the new account and be sure to check the box for an Admin account. You also need to change the auto-login account which is done in Login Options. Log out of your account then log into the new one.

Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.

Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible

They do unless their iPhone remains connected to a power source while the iPhone is not being actively used. The wi-fi connection being dropped unless the iPhone remains connected to a power source when not being actively used has been available to conserve battery use since the original iPhone.
And not being able to receive a call when the iPhone is actively accessing the internet with Verizon's network is a limitation with Verizon's cellular network. No such problem with GSM carriers such as with ATT or T-Mobile.
If a call goes straight to voicemail while your iPhone is being actively used when connected to an available wi-fi network, you need to take that up with Verizon first. It could be a problem with your iPhone but I would start with Verizon.

Can't get voice mail to activate

I've recorded my voicemail but after four rings, the fax tone kicks in (the line is connected to a fax machine). Is there a way to have the phone line function as both a message repository as well as a fax line? Maybe by adjusting the number of rings before voicemail should kick in? Thanks!

This only happens when you have Speaker turned on in Voicemail. Turn off Speaker before lifting iPhone to your ear.
