How can I delete the printing of reports after a print job on the HP Officejet 6700 Premium printer? I consider this needless?

When you print a document is the printer printing a alignment page each time?
Make sure the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet.
Update the printer's firmware. HP Officejet 6700 Premium e-All-in-One Printer - H711n Drivers.
Select your operating system, click next, click the link for firmware.
Do you mean the fax confirmations are printing after receiving a fax?
To turn off the fax confirmation follow these steps:
On the printer select setup, fax setup, fax reports, fax confirmation, turn it off.

Stop a job from printing

Hope Experts how are you today?
One of our users created a job SD_203_Z_AUTO_DEL. Everytime this jobs runs it prints out. She would like to stop this job from printing. Is there anything in SM37 job overview that I need to change. If not in SM37 than were do I go. I see that SU01 under Spool Control OutputDevice is QU6, but if I change this than she won't be able to print anything. Sorry for the novice question. I don't spend alot of time in SAP these days........

Using transaction SM37, you can select the job from the list and select Job -> Change from the menu. Select the Step button, which will list the steps in the job. Select the step (program) that creates the output and select Step -> Change from the menu. There should be a Print Specifications button at the bottom of the screen. Select this button and then select the Properties button. Change the Time of Printing to 'Send to SAP spool' and save all of your entries.

How to write code to print and save the output in my GUI?

I had been searching on code to program print and save commands to print and save the output from the GUI but to no avail. Can someone help me?

The output will be link from the previous GUI page. Hence the output is a page with Jtable and a button for print to print the information in the JTable.

Open a crystal report from WAD with passing the variables values

Hi,
I need to know is there any way to link SAP WAD to crystal reports (open a crystal report from WAD)and pass the values of the variables which are entered in the Web App. (e.g. Customer id,year) should be passed to the Crystal Report.
Maybe we need to pass parameter by WAD URL but this is just my assumption and have no idea how to do this with passing variable values.
right now I know the method of how Bex queries which are used as data source for crystal reports but in my current scenario we have the structure like this that bex queries link with WAD and then WAD is linked with crystal reports.
No doubt that Crystal report is target option in RRI but there the source is Bex Query only but in current scenario we are looking WAD (web template) as a source to crystal report or crystal report called in WAD.
Please suggest something on same.

Extract a report from SAP to see the POs' recommended ship date

Can I extract a report from SAP, to see the recommended ship date of my POs, based on the MRP? As I need it to do the pull in and push out.

Refer ME80FN report wherein you can list out PO delivery schedule by clicking on change view icon after executing the report.
In Change View options select Del. sched this will list out POs with detailed delivery schedule. You can export the same to excel also.

I run the same report in windows me , and the same printer it is running well

When run report from form(6i) on the web,error FRM-921000

While I was trying to run report from form (6i)on the web,it will give me this error
message FRM-921000 and hang.
But when I try to call form using form,I do
not have the problem.
May I know ehat is the cause?

I am running Forms 6i on the web and attempting to call me report via RUN_REPORT_OBJECT. I am getting the same error as Jenny FRM-92100. I need to pass a parameter list so I don't think I can use WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT. Any ideas???

As far as I know, no features in Office client can generate Excel workbook from Outlook. But we can implement this requirement by macros. If you want to receive more information, I suggest you post this issue on MSDN forum.

How do I stop Photoshop CS6 from asking to save changes to a file when closing the file, after "savi

I save a lot of files to "save for web". After saving PS asks if I want to save changes to the original file. I never want to save the changes to the original. Since the default is to change the file I am afraid I will accidentally OK the change without wanting to. I would like it to stop asking and just not save it. Is there a way?

Then don't work on the original open the file using Photoshop menu file>open once its in Photoshop as a document dupe the document and close the original document. Photoshop will just close the original and not ask it you want to save the original document for no changes were made to it. You could easily record an action to automate this process. The first step in the action would be an inserted menu item menu File>Open. The second step Duplicate Document, third step select previous document the fourth and final step close. This seems to be what is called a "Separator page" in Windows printer driver.
Separator pages are used at the beginning of each document to make it
easy to find a document among others at the printer
On Windows, it is a "Printer Driver" setting

We inherited an officejet 6210xi. (No manual.) It is being used standalone as a fax. It now prints a log for each and every fax. This is a huge waste of paper, so how do we stop it from printing a log every time? Thanks.

May be it is the alignment page. Please perform aligning the printer once as per the steps below and check if helps.
Follow these steps to open the printer toolbox and align the printer, if you found defects on the print quality diagnostic report.
1. Load plain white paper in the input tray.
2. Open HP Solution Center:
3. Click Settings.
4. Under Print Settings , click Printer Toolbox . The printer Toolbox opens in a new window.
5. Click the Device Services tab.
6. Click Align the Printheads .
The product aligns the printheads. When the alignment is complete, the product prints an alignment page.
After the successful alignment, restart the printer and check.

How to kill/stop a report from InfoView/CMC ?

I have CRS2008 v1 environment running reports against Sybase database. Users run reports from Infoview. I would like to know what the best way to kill or stop a report that has been triggered from Infoview? Kill the spid from sybase or is there a way to kill it from Crystal?

I want to kill reports run by users if they affect the system performance due to large volume. In that case the stored procedure that the report uses to select data might run for longer periods and I want to able to kill that process. So the question is which is better ?
1. Kill the spid for that report stored procedure in Sybase
2. Stop/delete the report instance from crystal if it is possible.

PDF print. where save the file?

on my system (SPAD) is defined ZPDF2 a printer for printing in PDF.
I want to know where to save the PDF? In a specific file system? How can I see this?

It is not cleared what is your exact goal ?
see that the printing is completed but I do not know if SAP has created a file and where to put it
By default SAP saves the documents in users home directory "C:\Documents and Settings\<USER_NAME>\SapWorkDir".
Is there a log that tells me what happens when I print a SAP page?
in SP01/SP02 or SPAD you can see the status of the spool job (success or failed) or its attribute. But it will not tell you where you saved the file because this activity will not come under SAP's control.
If I am not mistaking SAP generates spool request as per the configured spool device in SPAD. Once you fire the print job it depends on operating system's installed printer (configuration) what to do with that request. Means whether to print as PDF document or send to normal print device.
If you want more control over print job, you can configure "Access Method" as "G: Frontend printer with Control tech." and set "Host Printer = _DEFAULT". So it will pop-up Operating system printer selection dialog box.
I hope, it will cleare your doubts.
One more thing:
You have 2 methods to get it done...
A) In case of standard transactions or report, use method as I said in previous post.
B) If it is custom development, you can take ABAPers help to do the same. below are the steps for the same.
Basic Steps .
1) Generate the classical Report output .
2) Create a Spool Request .
3) Search the Spool Request .
4) Submit the Spool Request for Pdf Creation .
5) Download the Pdf Output in Presentation server or Application Server .
Use the Standard Function Modules 'CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF' and 'GUI_DOWNLOAD'
It will give you a freedom where to save the file..
