Stop iTunes radio from playing music automatically

Whenever I sync my 4S to bluetooth, music starts automatically. Perhaps this is iTunes Radio? Any tips for how to stop this from happening? I have seen many folks griping about this on the internet, and NO answer short of deleting all music. That seems excessive. I want access to my music occasionally. But not always, and NEVER automatically.

Can't. This is done for the individual movie, not by iTunes.

It didn't show up in my music app for several hours. Don't know why... But it's there.
I can now access and add stations through the iTunes Store to play through music app icon.

Since updating to the latest IOS 8.1.1 .... I now have iTunes radio turning on automatically and playing random songs every time I open my iPad to begin using it.
I have to go to the music screen and PAUSE whatever song is playing before I can do anything else...unless I want to listen to this song...which I never do!
How do I get rid of iTunes Radio...or at least disable it. It is nothing that I ever use. In fact, I don't listen to any music on my iPad as a rule except for Pandora radio once in awhile.

I Go to music and I tap on iTunes radio. When I put a station it shows a song and skips it and it keeps skipping.Sometimes it plays a song but if I don't want to listen to it and I skip it, it keeps skipping by itself.How do I Stop it? Stopping podcasts app from playing music?

When a podcast ends in the Podcasts app, it starts playing the first song in my Music library. Is there a way to stop this from happening? When I'm listening to podcasts, I don't want to listen to music. It seems to only do this when I use the data port connection (USB --> Lightning) in my car to play the podcasts through my car speakers. If I use the Aux port in my car, it does not do this and the app just goes silent at the end of a podcast rather than playing music.

Possible to stop iTunes DJ from playing continuously once started?

I'm sure it's been asked before....
Is this possible? DJ works well for queueing songs and the request feature is great. But can I stop it from carrying on and randomly playing, once the "song queue" or requests have come to an end?

If you lose connection with the stream due to a timeout, or run out of buffer, iTunes will move on to the next item in your library. If you want to avoid this, you should create a playlist with just your streaming source in it. If you select this playlist instead of the whole library, iTunes will just keep trying to resume connection to the stream if it loses it. If you see this happening consistently every day at the same time, chances are this is when your connections IP lease time is up. Is your computer on all the time (even in sleep mode)? If so, then try restarting it at a different time of day. If your interruption of the stream happens at the time of your restart, then the IP lease expiration is the cause of your stream interruption.

I have music on my PC in the "My Music" folder.
I want to play it on iTunes & be able to sync to Apple devices, but I DO NOT want a second copy stored in the iTunes Media folder (takes memory).
I've read previous posts and have unchecked the Preference/Advanced boxes for "Keep iTunes Media folder organized," and "Copy files to iTunes Media folder when adding to library." However, it keeps copying the files.
Please provide any solutions.

File menu -> Add Folder to Library. Select the iTunes Music folder.
That should do it.

ITunes radio starts playing after I check email. What can I do to stop that from happening. It is a nuisance to open iTunes and pause the song playing.

On my iPhone 5c, after I check email or other apps not related to phone use, frequently iTunes radio starts playing. I have learned to open app and pause the song being played. Is there a way to not have that happen?

I installed Itunes 12.0.1.26 and Yosemite last night and now iTunes starts and plays songs automatically. What is the problem with iTunes? Could someone else have my iTunes account? Should I delete ITunes and re-installed?

I agree with/have same problem as vinfromacton.
I know it's Flash causing the problem:iTunes had been functioning normally until this morning when I downloaded Flashto allow me to listen to archived radio programs on the internet.
Once I downloaded Flash, iTunes startedopening and playing automatically ~ every 2-3 minutes. Annoying as it playsover audio I am listening to &/or recording.
Only fix I've found is to turn iTunesvolume down to zero: does not stop iTunes from opening - it continues to do so- but I don't hear the iTunes audio.
I'm also going to try dr alexander'ssuggestion: Open a blank Playlist > leave iTunes focus there>quit iTunes.
It reopens but at least it'ssilenced....
Haven't tried it but I would imagine uninstallingFlash (need to download the uninstaller from the Adobe website) would solve theproblem. This however would lead me back to my original problem: no Flash >cannot listen to audio archived on the internet and other internet audio...
