Stop phone from dimming when using Google Maps

I'm not sure if this is the right place, but I was wondering if there was a way to stop my iPhone from dimmer while using Google Maps?

Turn tracking mode on by tapping the blue button at the lower left. That will center your map on your current location. As you move around, iPhone updates your location, adjusting the map so that the location indicator remains in the center of the screen. The screen will remain on so long as you remain in tracking mode.

When using google maps through Firefox, after asking for a place which is not the general North America section which routinely comes up, the firefox screen goes white, with a narrow banner at the top. A message appears in the lower right corner which says something about display drivers having had a problem, but now have recovered. However the display doesn't recover and the banner message is that Firefox is not responding. When I go to restart Firefox if I go to the restore point, the page is still frozen out.
I do not believe it is a problem with my computer because it doesn't happen if I use I.E. to go to google maps, then G-maps works normally.
This phenomenon did not happen before the latest upgrade to either Google or Firefox. I have used Fiefox for a number of years and also Google Maps on previous computers and on this one, and not had this before.
This is a relatively young computer (Asus EeSlate 121) less than a year old. I have used Firefox since I bought it and until recently had no problem with Google Maps.

I solved it myself, after the "note" which came back from FF/Mozilla just as I finished my message, commenting on what it was that my system had , I wnnt back to check my plug-ins etc. I downloaded the latest Java, BOTH 32bit AND 64 bit versions and latest Firefox.
Now all is working.

When using google maps with Firefox, I get a message Service error -27

All of a sudden, google maps doesn't work anymore when logged in to google and running Firefox. I get the following message:
503. That’s an error.
The service you requested is not available at this time.
Service error -27. That’s all we know.
Still works on Explorer, though.

Any way to stop phone from vibrating when on a call?

It happens all the time.
I'm on a call, thoroughly enjoying life, in a state of total and utter relaxation.
Then: BZZTZTZTZZTZZTZZZZZTTZZ!!!!
Right in my ear, the iPhone completely shatters my calm. All because I got a text or an e-mail.
I appreciate the notification, and I have my iPhone set to vibrate for texts and e-mails because when the phone's in my pocket the vibration definitely helps to notify me, but maybe the tone/chyme is enough when I'm on a call.
And by maybe, I mean definitely. There is no good reason I can think of why I'd want this sneak attach vibration terrorizing the side of my skull. It's simply unpleasant and often times unnerving.
Does anyone know if there's anything that can be done about it? I've searched, but have come up with nothing apart from completely disabling the vibrate option, or remembering to always switch the phone to silent (with vibrate off for silent in the settings) every time I take or make a call, which is awfully inconvenient and still results in occasionally forgetting, relaxing and then being punished.
Maybe there's a setting I'm missing somewhere?

It seems there is no solution to this apart from the workarounds I've listed, so I've filed a feature request with Apple, pasted below.

As it stands, when I am on a call and I receive a text, for example, the phone vibrates in my ear and against my face in a very jarring fashion. It's not only uncomfortable, it's unnerving.
Currently my two options for avoiding this seem to be to disable the vibrate feature all together, or to remember to toggle the silent switch when making or receiving a call (and then remember to toggle it again when finished). Inconvenient and/or easy to forget.

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
Anytime random strange behaviors creep in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.

Is it possible to send maps to my GPS from within Firefox using Google Maps

In other browsers (Safari, Chrome) you can Send map routes you've created, to your GPS (Garmin). I can't seem to find any such capability within Firefox. Am I missing something?

How to stop page from resetting when using a laser barcode scanner to fill input areas.

I am using Firefox 30 with Mac OS 10.9 at work. We keep track of workflow using a 3rd party website and scan the information in with a UBS laser barcode scanner.
In Firefox the input regions will fill with the information, but then clear without saving or sending the information to the site. What settings are needed for Firefox to keep and send the scanned information?

The CueCat it was sending keyboard commands, which wasn't hard to figure out, because it piggy-backed on the PS/2 keyboard cable; there were a very small number of USB versions made for retail store kiosks and for demo purposes, but the whole project was killed before they started making the USB for consumers.

Flip the Ring/Silent switch. Make sure Vibrate when silent is off in Settings>Sound.

Using Google Maps Street View on My MacBook Pro

Recently, I have been getting "Plug-In Missing" in the place of a video in a blog post. Also, when I try to use Street View in Google Maps I get a box that tells me I need to install Adobe Flash Player 10 or later to be able to use Street View. Should I try to download and install Adobe Flash Player? What could I use to be able to use Google Maps Street View and/or to play videos?

I found my reply elsewhere - you have to uncheck "contacts" and then recheck it. Kinda idiotic, but there you have it!

Now i need to do something similar with loop for all table rows. How can I achieve this?
I have JavaScript code which uses Google Maps API and can display many points on one map. Also I have longitude and latitude data in af:table (bindings), each table row has one point. My task is to take data from af:table and pass it to JavaScript.

Is there a way to roll back ios6? I upgraded before I knew about the new mapping. I used google maps all the time and absolutely hate the new one. Just about everything I've looked for is wrong or missing.

I hate the mapping in IOS6. Is there a way to roll back to the older OS? When I upgraded I didn't know about the mapping change. I used google maps a lot, for a variety of things. In just a few searches I've found more errors or missing landmarks than anything else. I really hate this app!

How to use Google Maps by Visual Composer?

I'm creating some simple applications by Visual Composer in which I wanna use a Google Maps in VC,
and i have now successfully got to the STREET, POSTL_CODE, CITY and COUNTRY came from the BAPI.
(i am trying to use the Bapi_Customer_Getdetail2.)
but,i didn't get how to connect Table View and Html View.
I have already checked the below links. but i fail to understand how to do it.
