Stop run after elapsed time

I've hours per run wired to elapsed time in my VI. The output elapsed time is display out to a cluster display.
How do I get the VI to stop once it has react hours per run elasped time?
And how would I wire to show that time on (hours) once the VI has stopped?
Please let me know what I'm doing wrong.

Well, I 'll give you one trick that I use alot when I ever wanted to know:
When will a certain event occur in the future ?
In your case: the event is "Time elapsed for all the events or runs".

Then what i do is to turn airplane mode on and then off or restart the phone and GPRS starts working. Agan after some time I have to repeat this exercise. Please help soon. This is happening since the time i bought this phone i.e from past 20 days. I have tried allpossible network settings and resetting network but nothing helped. everything else is working perfect.

I have also started facing the exact same problem since the past few months with my docomo service.
Earlier, EDGE / GPRS used to work just fine from my workplace where the network was good.
But recently, I got my iphone replaced, due to a network problem, from an apple store in indianapolis, and also upgraded to ios 5.....so not sure now whether this intermittent EDGE / GPRS outage is due to the new hardware or the new OS.
Did you upgrade to iOS 5 and did it help?
PS: iOS 5.0.1 also doesn't seem to be helping, I still need to restart the phone to get EDGE / GPRSt to work.....will try out the airplane mode thing....at least that shouldn't take as much time as a full reboot.

SQL Server 2012 setup stops running after setup files are copied.
I've experiencing the same issue on two different machines. Both are 64 bit running Server 2008.
On both of them I tried installing using the files from the ISO. I initially used winzip to extract the files. The setup was running fine, but the SQL Server engine had an error when it installed. Then using the Add/Remove programs i uninstalled all of the
SQL Server 2012 applications, including the setup files.
Now when i try to install using the "New SQL Server stand-alone..." wizard it will copy the setup files and then the wizard never comes back. I've tried mounting the ISO, extracting with winrar, Burning the ISO to a dvd and downloading the 3 files. I also
tried mounting ISO of the version that was just recently released. I run into the same issue with all of them.

Instead of every 3600s making a summary and starting over , vdbench simply continued going until it was manually stopped.
Any ideas ?

I bet you that the 'format' is still running?
You are asking 398TB worth of files to be created, at a (very high) 1gb/second that would take about 110 hours; at 100mb/sec that would take 46 days.
Be careful with specifying Vdbench parameters, just last week I saw a parameter file with a total elapsed time of 9 years!

Weblogic admin server stops running after a while

Hi,
we have a distributed environment 11.1.2. On the server where we have weblgic admin server running, it seems to stop running everytime I disconnect from the server. I end up starting it everytime I login to the server. How can I keep it running all the time?Doesn't it start as part of the 'start EPM' script?

I've never seen this and we've been running 8.1.5 for a while. Have you tried dumping threads to see what the admin server is doing? On UNIX, run 'kill -QUIT <admserv_pid>'. Can't remember if/how this can be done on Win32. I believe Console requests use the weblogic.admin.HTTP execute queue and it only has two threads. Could be that something is blocking those threads leading to this.
I would also look into why your admin server takes 2 minutes to discover your managed servers. That seems unseemly long to me. Mine takes a few seconds at most. Since the Console does cause the admin server to talk to the managed servers, these two things might be related. Maybe you've got some kind of network/DNS lag that could be eliminated.

IMac fan won't stop running after Mavericks install

My fan seems be running all the time, in sleep mode and shut down (when power cord is plugged in).
This started after installing Mavericks??????????????????????????????? HELP.

I have the same issue with my 2012 iMac 2.7 Intel Core i5 21.5"
The iMac fan runs constantly immediately when it is shut down and after a minute or so when it is put in standby.
This iMac just started doing this.
I have done the SMC reset numerous times and also the PRAM and DVRAM reset by hitting the Command, Option, P, and R after restarting.
This issue is beyond frustrating as the only way to shut off the fan ever is to pull the power cord.
Any additonal help would be appreciated.

Mail accounts stop working after few time or sleep

Hi everyone. First at all sorry about my english.
Since few days ago, and probably after run onyx, im experiencing a bug in Mail.
When i start mail, everything its ok. Its works perfect.
But, after maybe 2 hours running (usually i have mail on autostart), i see that all my acounts have the triangle on it.
I click on the triangle and tryed to reconnect all accounts but it does nothing. All of them still not working.
I run the test and all accounts have the red mark of error.
It usually happends when i awake the macbook after sleep.
It has easy solution. Close mail, and open mail again and is ok, everything working normaly, but after some time i have the same problem.
Any suggestions?

Multitouch Gestures Stop working after some time in Mountain Lion

I have a problem with Multitouch Gestures on Macbook Pro, using Mountain Lion. After some time 3 thinger swipe to left/right stops working. The only thing that helps to solve this problem is making a restart. Are there any other ways to get rid of this problem?

Me too. My iMac and MBP same here. Having graphics glitches when playing games neither in Mac or Bootcamp with Windows. Sometimes screen even slashed into half and freezed. Wake up from sleep also have graphics issues, like I need to use the crusor to oaint out the grey login screen, if not, it will stay white. Slowly moving the crusor will paint back the grey background.

First USB port stops working after random time and won't work until I restart

I have this problem on my late 2011 Macbook Pro 13 inch,
It's been for a year already and it really freaks me out and drive me crazy
My first USB port next to the thunderbolt stops working after like 3 days, and it won't respond until I restart my computer or log off and log in again.
If I restart my computer, USB stops working after 3 days and won't respond until I restart
If I log off it works for like a couple of hours and then stops again
I have tried EVERYTHING, SMC reset - no luck, PRAM reset - same results, Upgraded to lion same results, Upgraded to mountain lion - SAME RESULT
And I can't take it to an apple store because I'm not from the US
I am 100% sure this is a software problem and I've seen here that many people have faced this problem
Please help, it really freaks me out

I'm sure this isn't what you want to hear but unless you really are using your laptop 24 hours a day, is there any reason why you don't just shut it down and reboot when you're ready to use it again? I have to wonder how many other MacBook Pro owners potentially have the same problem but when they quit computing for the day, their computers quit too.

Stop app after set time

Is there a way or an app that will stop an app after a given time. There are several radio apps that I would like to go to sleep by. But I cannot figure out how to have radio app stop after 30-45 minutes.

Activate after elapsed time of inactivity

Hi there.
I am attempting to change the status of FieldPoint output if there has been no activity on the VI after 30 minutes. I have no idea if there is a way in LabVIEW to update a time stamp every time there is input from the user and then compare that the the current time.
However, I have bigger fish to fry before I ge to that problem.
Here's my scenario: My VI controls a pump via FieldPoint. If the user starts the pump, I want to also start a timer. If the user turns the pump off, the pump immediately turns off. If the timer expires the pump also turns off regardless of the button. So far I am ignoring the above section on user inactivity, I am just focusing on trying to turn the pump off after 30 minutes starting when it is activated.
Take a look at the following screenshot (note that the 2 seconds will be eventually changed to 30 minutes once I figure out the code):
Right now here's the series of events:
1. I click the button corrisponding to the top-left on the block diagram
2. The loop runs until 3 and THEN the pump starts.
My problem is that LabVIEW seems to pause for all inputs to arrive to a boolean AND and thus it is processing serially and not in parallel as I wish it to do. It's almost like I need to move the loop to another thread - would that be a sub VI in LabView?
Any suggestions?

Are you trying to run this example on your FieldPoint target? Tbd's example would work great for a desktop computer, but probably not for your FieldPoint, because it uses an Event Structure. The Event Structure is set up to catch user events, but the problem is that the code isn't running on your desktop PC where you press the buttons or whatever, but on the FieldPoint device. So it won't catch those events in its Event Structure.
To run this on your FieldPoint, you will have to revise the code to be based just on polling values, similar to your initial post. You can obtain the same basic functionality using Queues and timeouts. Here's an example that might get some ideas going. The basic idea is to have a second loop apart from the loop the that polls the boolean control and turns the pump on or off. This second loop acts like a Timer loop, and is only active when you first turn the pump on. It then counts down the specified amount until either you turn the pump off manually, or the time elapses. If the time elapses, the timer loop turns the pump of and goes back to sleep.

Entity Beans stop working after some time

hi,
I am facing this strange problem. I am devloping a Learning Management System. Once I deploy the app it works profectly fine. It calls all the session and ejb beans perfectly.
I am using the sun one 7 PE and J2EE 1.3. After the product has been deployed for a couple of hours, and i re run the application, it gives a null pointer exception. The session bean cannot connect to the entity bean.
I am using mysql as db and have a pool defined.
Is there a connection time-out problem or some problem with the entity bean, because the session beans work fine even days after deployment, but entity bean stop functioning in a couple of hours.
Some help needed !

Have you looked at the server.log to see if you have any other clues to the point of failure?

Web Proxy sessions stop working after some time (ISA 2006)

Hi guys,
we have been using ISA 2006 with Web Publishing Rule to provide access for mobile phone to corporate Exchange via ActiveSync for years. The issue occurred roughly one month ago.
After some period of time (usually it happens once or twice daily) ISA stops to accept connections from the mobile phones. There are no errors on client devices (they don't get new mails). In Sessions tab I see that only SecureNAT sessions from phones remain,
but no Web Proxy sessions any more. There are no errors in Event Viewer and I didn't find anything strange in diagnostic logs.
I've created one more Web Publishing Rule with the same Web listener as for ActiveSync rule for OWA. The intersting thing that ISA still allows access to OWA when issue occurs. Looks like the problem with Web Proxy filter.
After OS restart ISA starts working normally.
I have ISA 2006, sp1, version 5.0.5723.514 installed on VMWare VM with Windows 2003 SE sp2.
Do you have any ideas?
