Can you please help me in this problem.
Thank you in advance.

Sounds that this is an issue with your mouse or the mouse driver software.
Did you try another mouse or try a basic mouse driver?
Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.

    My iPhone 5 won't stop scrolling through songs and I can't stop it please help !! :(

    settings - general - usuage - music - delete.   Then do a reset, hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.
    Then sync the music back via iTunes.

    I have an optical mouse that came with my Mac Pro, the only thing plugged into the USB port on the keyboard. After a year of working normally, the trackball all of a sudden stopped scrolling down. It scrolls up just fine, but not down. Any thoughts?

    Well
    I tried all of the suggestions, sort of. I did not have alcohol wipes, but I did take alcohol and pour some ona white paper towel and then rolled the mouse touch ball aroound and that finally cleared up the problem.  Just inverting it on paper did not do the reick, it needed some help with the alcohol.  Of course the probelm is the debris that gets inside and it really needs to come out.
    This is a huge problem for RIM devices users too.

  • Mouse scroll bar stopped scrolling

    Hi,
    My scroll bar has stopped scrolling. How do I get it to work again?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi moreton, Welcome to Apple's Users Help Users Forums.
    Do a forum search on clean MM or Mighty Mouse.
    In essence dampen clothe with water or alcohol and press down wheel and scrub rather vigorously in all directions.

  • Mouse won't stop scrolling player

    Problem: Mouse won't stop scrolling player
    Adobe Flash Player 9 (9.0.115.0)
    I double click a SWF file.
    It comes up in Adobe Flash Player 9.
    I switch to another program.
    I switch back to the Flash Player.
    Just moving the mouse (without holding down the mouse) moves
    the player scroll.
    I cannot turn mouse scrolling off so scrolling stops.
    Esc does not solve problem.
    I appreciate your feedback.

    tech78g:
    I get what you're saying, but in the system preferences there are clearly options for
    "Scroll direction: natural — Content tracks finger movement"
    and for
    "Swipe between pages — Scroll left or right with one finger"
    both indicating that if unchecked, there should be no scrolling or swiping with any finger movement. Yet mine continues doing both, with both unchecked.
    It's not just annoying. It's interfering with my work.

  • Safari stops scrolling pages

    Since recently upgrading safari and of course the OS to Mountain LIon, I have discovered a quite serious bug.
    Randomly safari stops scrolling pages. This has so far happened 3 times in the last week or so. You can open/close/view pages, but even though the scrollbar is present it won't scroll. I cannot use my mouse wheel, or click in the scrollbar or use the space bar, page down key or even search the web page to force it move down.
    The site I visit doesn't initiate the issue, it can be any website. The issue appears to be quite random, the only way to fix the issues is to close the browser and start it again.
    I have currently 2 extensions running in Safari, Ultimate statusbar and Awesome screen grab., I am going to proceed to remove both to test if this fixes the problem.
    However this is very frustrating as this has never been a problem in other version of Safari to date. I had to complete this question in Google Chrome, as of course I couldn't scroll to tee bottom of the page in safari!

    Try resetting and clearing the cache more often.
    From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Reset Safari
    Select:  Clear History  (also empties the cache)
    Deselect the remaining boxes then click Reset.
    If that didn't help, open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
    Type or copy / paste:   ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari
    Click Go then move the Cache.db file from the com.apple.Safari folder to the Trash.
    Quit and relaunch Safari to test.

  • Scrollable Text Won't Stop Scrolling!

    Hey everyone,
    I've created a button so that when you roll over it, text is loaded and scrolls up the page. However, it doesn't stop scrolling when the text runs out - it keeps going so all of the text goes off the screen!
    Here's the code on my button:
    // Arrow Button
    on (rollOver) {
         _root.hover = 1;
    on (rollOut) {
         _root.hover = 0;
    and on my text (dynamic/multi-line):
    onClipEvent (enterFrame) {
         if (_root.hover == 1) {
              with ("") {
                   _y -= 5;
    If anyone can help me out that'd be great. I'd like it to stop scrolling once it runs out of text.
    Thanks!

    Thank you very much for the example - I've written the code down in my book and have saved this. It works perfectly! I'm really thrilled. Your method seems 100 times easier than the tutorial I had been following. One thing I'm curious about is the code to actually make it move. I understand that the
    about_mc._y -= 5;
    is what's making it move, but is it the -= that's telling it to move upwards at a speed of 5?
    (How I wish I could still use Director!! Unfortunately here it's not industry standard and no one accepts these files)
    So everything is working great now except the text problem is still there. I had created a dynamic text box, changed the font/size/etc and then converted it to a movie clip. Should I have converted it to a graphic first and then a movie clip? I'm not sure why the font would appear fine in Flash, but then when I publish it turns to the default. (testing on the same machine)
    Thank you again for your help - I appreciate it greatly!
    PS: I tried converting to a graphic first, then movie clip, and same issue...

  • My pages stopped scrolling with cursor keys after upgrading to 5.0, the cursor moves WITHIN html documents and "jumps" from frame to frame and character to character within the frame.

    Recently, I noticed that google search pages stopped scrolling. There is an "right arrow" at the beginning of each link. When I press the cursor "up/down" arrow on the keyboard, the cursor jumps from link to link. Also, while on any html webpage, the cursor moves one character at a time (left / right arrow) and one line at a time (up/down arrow) until the end of that frame is reached, it then jumps to the next frame.

    You may have switched on [http://kb.mozillazine.org/accessibility.browsewithcaret caret browsing].
    You can press press F7 (on Mac: fn + F7) to toggle caret browsing on/off.

  • Magic Mouse stopped scrolling in version 10.6.8

    Hi, my mini mac which is a good 5 years old now has been working without problem over that period.
    Recently, for now apparent reason the Magic Mouse has stopped scrolling/swiping - all other functions are OK, including right click.
    When I go to mouse preferences I only see basic configuration options.  Not those that were there for the Magic Mouse.
    I have read a reasonable amount on this topic and do not have the USBOverdrive software installed or any other peripheral software.  rebooted on several occassions with no joy.
    I'd appreciate any help that can be offerred.
    Thank you

    Hi all,
    Problem solved: After checking with a second computer, recent iMac also with SL, and a new Macbook Pro with Lion in an Apple store, it was proven that in my case it was a hardware problem of the mouse, and not a communication or software problem. Weird indeed, as no moving part was involved. The mouse was just one year old, but I received a new one free of charge at the the Apple dealer.

  • Magic mouse stopped scrolling after system update

    Does anyone know why the mouse would stop scrolling after latest OS X update?
    Currently using V 10.8.5

    Hello Kaulfurst,
    While the article states that it is for Lion, this applies for Mountain Lion, as well. You may need to check that scrolling is enabled in the Accessibility pane of System Preferences.

  • Mighty Mouse Stops Scrolling

    I have a Mighty Mouse which suddenly stops scrolling up (and sometimes down). It works great some of the time.
    Anyone else have this problem? Nothing similar popped up when I searched.

    Have a look under 'More like this' to the right on this page!
    It probably needs a clean:

  • Mighty Mouse stopped scrolling

    I have an Intel iMac with Tiger. Recently the scroll ball on my Mighty Mouse stopped scrolling. Nothing happens at all when I move it. I went to the preferences to see if a setting was wrong. Most of the mouse options have the word "Expose" (I can't figure out how to do the accent mark) so I looked that up. It seems Expose is the reason the windows sometimes fly apart for no known reason. I wish I could turn that off, I hate it. Anyway, I tried different mouse options and the scrolling hasn't come back.
    Thanks for any help offered.

    I will try cleaning the scroll ball like that.
    I want to be able to scroll, but I don't want the windows to suddenly jump apart. I don't even know what button makes that happen. I didn't know Exposé (got the accent, thanks) existed until today. Can you tell me exactly what setting gets rid of Exposé but not scrolling?

  • My mouse was scrolling 'normally' and has stopped scrolling down.  Any suggestions?

    My mouse was scrolling down 'normally' but has stopped scrolling down, forcing me to use the less convenient drag-down bar at the right hand side of the screen.  It continues to scroll up. 'Settings' doesn't seem to offer a 'restore' scroll down.  Any suggestions?

  • Mighty Mouse stopped scrolling up

    Ahh it worked OK for a while, disconnecting and lagging every other day. But now my scroll button has just stopped scrolling up. I've tried cleaning it. I've tried a PRAM reset. I've tried trashing the preference file followed by a PRAM reset.
    Still doesn't work.
    Incidentally, when I tried trashing the preference file, the system didn't recreate a new one.
    If anyone know how to ACTUALLY fix this problem then I'M ALL EARS!
    Next piece of technology I buy for sure is NOT going to be apple...

    OK it's working again. I decided to try scrubbing the crit out of it with a damp cloth, and it seems to have dislodged a piece of something that was the root of the problem.
    Why didn't they just put in a scroll wheel it would have been so much easier!

  • Detect when user stops scrolling

    I have an application where a user scrolls using scrolldrags, but this always ends up in the user clicking where they stopped scrolling, so I need to stop this. My idea was that I have a variable "changeable" on and off depending on whether the user is scrolling or not, so when they stop scrolling, the objects become changeable again, how do I detect when the user stops scrolling with scrolldrag using the ScrollPane object?

    add a mouseup listener when scrolling begins and apply a stopPropagation() or stopImmediatePropagation() method to that event and remove the listener in the mouseup listener function .
