STOP showing hidden calendar entries in the Hub.

Following up on this request from a year ago. This is supposed to be a device and operating system built for productivity, but is completely USELESS if I have to see every single one of my coworkers' calendar entries in my Hub, even when their calendars are hidden in my calendar app.
The early builds of 10.3 don't show any difference here. PLEASE GUYS, PLEASE FIX THIS. You're an enterprise company now. I'm a business user. You have no idea how much time I waste by having to manually check coworkers' calendars from a desktop browser because I can't link them up to my phone.

Just wanted to provide input in clarifying some of the original posters ideas:
-In addition to hidden calendar entries not being shown in the hub, I think they (and I, and I'm sure a lot of other people!) want to be able to configure in the hub which calendar entries appear there based on calendar i.e. you shouldn't have to hide a calendar in the calendar app to stop the entries from appearing in the hub. It would be great to have all calendars showing in the calendar app but only calendar entries for the ones I choose in the hub
-Further to this, there should be something like a Calendars section in Hub Management. The reason I mention this is because for services like GMail which are configured in one shot, even if I select "Show in Separate Account Only" in the hub settings for that account, it will still show calendar entries (but will not show e-mail messages)
This is kinda a pain right now as I'll just have to disable those other calendars from showing on the phone (way too many entries being passed to the hub and cluttering it up), but I hope this is fixed soon. Loving the Passport, prior phone was a Bold 9900 and just trying to help you guys out! Thanks!

Before syncing, select each calendar on your Mac and back it up by going to File>Export>Export. If anything goes missing, you can use these to restore your calendars.
Have you tried simply force closing the calendar app on your iPhone? To do this, double-tap the home button, locate the calendar app, then swipe up on the image above the app icloud to close it and tap the home bottom. Then test your calendar again.

Notification Center does not show current calendar entries? How can i fix it?

Sometimes entries for the next 24hours are shown in notification center, and sometimes not. It doesn't have to do with setting an alert, or not.
I really don't know, why it isn't possible to Show up calendar entries for at least 3 days for example.

Searching on keywords, if that's what you're doing, has never really worked. As to searching just on the category in the iTunes Store, it's most unlikely to throw up your podcast. There are thousands of podcasts out there, and it would be quite impossible to display on one page the entire list for any category. What you see are 'featured' podcasts, chosen by Apple as being special; please see this Tech Note:

Note that there is no way you can influence the selection other than making your podcast really special.

I am not sure what's happening with IE9 (no live site) but I had real problems viewing your code in Live View - until I removed the HTML comment marked below. Basically your site was viewable in Design View but as soon a I hit Live view, it disappeared - much like IE9. See if removing the comment solves your issue.

Facebook is showing more than once in the HUB !

Dear All,
I noticed that my Facebook is showing more than once in the HUB ! and everything instance of it is displaying something different than the other. Old instances are displaying old notifications that I have deleted a long time ago!
Each time a login and logout of the Facebook app, a new instance is created inside the HUB ! it seems that there is a serious bug in either the HUB or Facebook !!
How can I fix this ?

Downloaded (free) CalenMob app to sync to google calendar, and it only shows my calendar entries but not the entries of my coworkers I share the calendar with. How do I sync to google calendar so I can see the entries of people I share my calendar with?

I downloaded the free CalenMob app to sync phone with shared google calednar at work, but I can only see the calendar entries of some of my coworkers but not all - even though all of our calendars are shared. Is CalenMob the best app to use for syncing to google calendar? Do I need to enter the coworkers' gmail account info onto my phone in order for their calendar entries to show up on my phone calendar?

Only when i go to a different browser (like IE) after i clear it , then all that shows up is the pages i visited in IE , that is what bugs me , why is IE browsing history sowing up in Firefox ??
Basically , i can clear the history in Firefox , and then for a example , go to Craigslist , using IE7 (launching it from a complete different Icon , in other words at that time i never open Firefox) , then after closing out , or even leaving open as it does not seem to matter , i go into Firefox , and hit History , and there is every place i visited in IE7 , on my History in Firefox

Have Many Calendar Entries in the stand By Mode

Hi there,
Very glad to have purchase the N70. However despite the fact that I have many entries into the calendar itself.
When I am on the stand by mode, I do see only the next appoitment that I have.
Will it be possible to see more appointments into the Stand By Mode??????
It will permit to see at least a full day/full week of activity?
Do you know how to do it??

I think there's a 3rd party application that does something similar to what you want.
As far as I'm aware, it does it all automatically, and there's no way to change it - it will only show you todays notes, and if you've nothing on today, it will show you the next set of dates. I've found it a bit annoying too, but I'm not too bothered.Message Edited by richcowell on 28-Apr-2006

Iphone4 - NEW calendar entries in the PAST delete themselves!!

I have an iPhone4 which works well but I have an issue with my calendar. I have my works Outlook account synced (works well) and my person google email (works well) - where the problem is, is when I enter a new calendar entry for a past event (I may have forgoten to enter when I went to the dentist last), on save it appears as an event for that day in the list, then after about 2 seconds - its gone! For New events for the future, it works fine!
Anyone else had this problem?

Go to Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
In the Calendars section near the bottom see how far back events are set to sync. That might be your problem.

How do I add a calendar entry since the update, I click on the date I want but the option to 'add event' has now gone?

Since I updated my phone I now cant seem to add an event on my calendar.
If there is already one in the calendar I can amend that but I do not have the option to start a new one on a different date.

Try to tap and hold for a couple of seconds in the day view, until you see a Green block appear. Once you see just let go anf you will see that you have an option to edit your event.

SQL Developer 3.1.07 does not show a Tables entry under the Navigator

Installed SQL Developer 3.1.07. Under my Connections window, I log into the SYSTEM account. There is NO tables entry. SYSTEM has access to all tables in the database. It's the same behavior for other database users as well.
I re-installed SQL Developer 3.0.04 and a Tables entry DOES appear for the same SYSTEM user connected to the same database.

I was under the impression that regardless of the Java version that my environment variables are setup to use,
the installation of SQL Developer (when you install with a JDK), that the JDK version installed with SQL Developer
is the one that is used.Exactly correct, unless you decide to override it in the conf file. I needed to be certain you did not.
Anyway, trying to resolve the problem, let's go back to a possibility that something went wrong with the migration of your preference settings. Here is an old thread discussing a missing Tables node in the Connection view (sometimes called the navigator tree):

The poster had to rename the system directory containing these settings, then ignore the offer to migrate settings upon starting up SQL Developer again. If you never migrated settings in the first place, then I'm not sure what more to say -- probably would require additional research here in the forum. But if you did migrate settings, then try the following:
1. Export your connections (Connections node | right-click | Export Connections...)
2. Exit SQL Developer
3. Rename the directory to something else
4. Restart SQL Developer
5. Import your connections
That directory on my Windows 7 machine for the current production release is something like:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\SQL Developer\system3.1.07.42

I just got a wireless keyboard for my iPad 4 and can't get the onscreen keyboard to stop showing as I type with the keyboard.

I have a just bought a bluetooth keyboard for my iPad 4 and it works fine. It connects with bluetooth and when I type the characters appear fine but the on screen keyboard will not go away. How do I get it to disappear while I am using my bluetooth keyboard.

Yes that was my next step but I removed the Swift key app I had installed with slightly different functionality than the Apple default screen keyboard. I figured I really didn't need that functionality since the Bluetooth keyboard offered far more flexibility. Sure enough the well designed default Apple keyboard seems to know it is not needed when an external keyboard is in use. Apple software just works better as always.

It seems like you may need to turn off your iTunes in the Cloud features and download or sync the songs manually to your phone. Here is a link that can help you adjust those settings:

On Facebook when I post a comment it shows up twice. Also on Ebay when I click "Buy It" the next page shows 2 separate entries for the item I bought.

On Facebook I'm able to delete 1 of the duplicate posts.
On Ebay after I click "buy now" & go to the next page I find I have 2 of the same item to pay for separately.
This happens about 50% of the time.

I believe that insufficient RAM may be the source of some of your problems. If you have a RAM of somewhere 4 to 8GB, you will experience smoother computing. 3GB doesn't seem right, so you might want to learn more by going to this site:

I don't know what know what's happening with your optical drive, but it seems you use your drive quite a bit. In that case, look into a lens cleaner for your machine. It's inexpensive, works quite well.
