"Stop Sign" when starting the mac after reinstallation...

Hello,
I had a problem with my mac mini OS X Lion, the problem was that some symbols started to change places and dissapear. so i called the apple support and they tryed to help me for 1.5h on phone without success, the last thing they told me to do was to erase the disk and totaly reinstall the OS, so i did.
it was downloading for about 5h and when i checked it the day after it was a "stop sign" on the screen so i waited for another day and the sign was still there,so i hold in the start buttom to force it to turn of and started again, the apple sign showed up for about 30sec - 1 min and then the stop sign appeared again....
i also tryed to start it with holding in the mac buttom and R, and also D when clicking on the start buttom without success..
did anyone else experience this ****?
If so please give me some tips so my lovely mac can come back to life.

OK, sounds like things aren't as bad as I feared. Could be a problem with your internet connection. In any case, start again.
Follow this guideline EXACTLY (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4718):
The short version:
Restart your Mac and hold down the Command key and the R key (Command-R), and keep holding them until the Apple icon appears.
After the Recovery HD has finished starting up, you should see a desktop with a Mac OS X menu bar and a "Mac OS X Utilities" application window.
In order to reinstall OS X Lion, you will need to be connected to an Ethernet or Wi-Fi network. The Wi-Fi menu item is in the upper-right corner of the screen. Click the icon to display all available Wi-Fi networks. Click your preferred network name and, if needed, enter a username and/or password for your wifi.

I was able to start and stop the SAP before i took the backup but after the backup i am not able to start the SAP.

J2EE Database is not available via test
See logfile JdbcCon.log
Please see the log file.If it says password expired .Please change the password for the schema user of J2ee database.In my case the user is sapdbqx1 and after resetiing the apssword it worked fine.
Also onetime for annother system in XI Landscpe I had same issue.
Solution: The listener file should have both logical hostname as well as physical host name entry.Then its worked.

        I have set the device alarm using the AlarmUti.java . The Alarm works fine.
        But on my device when starts camera, Alarm stops immediately. On some other
        blackberry devices, if press any other hard buttons, the Alarm stops.
        How do we prevent this ? i would like to stop only when i use the AlarmUtil.java
        I appriciate your help in solving this issue.

Help with FLASHING QUESTION mark when starting the mac

My mac just froze,i had to do force shut down,when i restarted it i had the flashing question mark.Did all the instruction that are given in the site:restarting with the installation CD and then using the *disc utility*-BUT i could not find the hard drive that i need to do the "repair disc " on.So i did what the document said and i reset the PRAM-still my hard drive does not show up in the disc utility.I also tried to reset the SMC but again -same result.
please please try and help me,is my HD doomed? is there anything else i should try?

I have the exact same problem.
Today, when I turned my macbook on, it was so slow, that I decided to restart it. When I turned it on again, I got the folder with a questionmark in it on the display. Tried to put the installer CD in, but it couldn't find the HDD. Ran the Disk Utility, which said: "Invalid node structure" and "Invalid record count".
I think the HDD is "destroyed", because it makes strange sounds. But how? And why?
The Macbook isn't even a year old.
Any help?

System Preferences - Users and Groups - Login Items - remove any that you don't want on startup.
Don't forget also that Lion will automatically restart any apps you had open when you shut down, unless you untick the "Reopen windows when logging back in" tickbox that appears.

If you want to set which OS your system boots into (provided Windows is installed using BootCamp and not a virtualization option such as Parallels, Fusion, or VirtualBox), just hold the "Option" key down when you turn your computer on. Continue to hold the key down until you see the options for booting into the OS of your choice. Just click on the arrow under the one you wish (tap to click won't work here if you have it enabled... you'll need to physically click the trackpad). If you want to change which OS your system normally boots into, just go into System Preferences in OS X and select "Starup Disk". Whichever OS you select here will be the OS your system will automatically boot into.

TimeZone issues when starting the OEM Agent since summertime switch Germany

since yesterday when the system time has swithched to summer time in Germany I have below errors when starting the agents on our systems:

If you modified the timezone setting in the environment, please stop the agent and exectute 'emctl resetTZ agent' and also execute the script mgmt_target.set_agent_tzrgn(<agent_name>, <new_tz_rgn>) to get the value propagated to repository.

Pick a TZ value that corresponds to time zone settings listed in:

I checked the TZ settings:

agentTZRegion=+01:00
which is the reason for the difference of 120min as shown by the resetTZ I assume because AIX system time says MEZ -1 and emd.properties finds GMT+1 which gives a difference of 120min.
I already applied the patch 5632264 to the agent, but the issue still exists.
When I manipulate the envirement TZ to GMT+01:00 the agent starts again, but this is no solution. Also patching the TZ of UNIX/AIX is no solution because this will cause other issues.
Any ideas how I can get the agent working again?
ps. I already tried a reinstallation of the Agent, but the issue still exists.

Error when starting the Integration Repository/Directory

When starting the Integration Repository or Directory I get the following error message when the Java Web Start is launched:
JAR resources in JNLP file are not signed by same certificate
I am running on XI3.0 SP15

Solved this issue.
Go to Administration - Java Web Start Administration.
Click on 'Re-initialization and force signings' and start the Repository or Directory again.

I am facing a data exracton problem while extracting data from SAP source system (Development Client 220). The scenario and related setting are as the flowings:
A. Setting:
We have created 2 source system one for the development and another for the quality in BW development client
1. BW server: SAP NetWeaver 2004s BI 7
PI_BASIS: 2005_1_700 Level: 12
SAP_BW: 700 Level:13
Source system (Development Client 220)
2. SAP ERP: SAP ERP Central Component 6.0
PI_BASIS: 2005_1_700 Level: 12
OS: SunOS
Source system (Quality Client 300)
2. SAP ERP: SAP ERP Central Component 6.0
PI_BASIS: 2005_1_700 Level: 12
OS: HP-UX
B. The scenario:
I was abele to load the Info provider from the Source system (Development Client 220), late we create another Source system (Quality Client 300) and abele to load the Info provider from that,
After creating the another Source system (Quality Client 300), initially I abele to load the info provider from both the Source system , but now I am unable to load the Info provider from the (Development Client 220),
Source system Creation:
For both 220 and 300, back ground user in source system is same with system type with same authorization (sap_all, sap_new, S_BI-WX_RFC) And user for source system to bw connection is dialog type (S_BI-WX_RFC, S_BI-WHM_RFC, SAP_ALL, SAP_NEW)
1: Now while at the Info Package : Start data load immediately and then get the
e-mail sent by user RFCUSER, and the content:

Diagnosis
An error occurred in the source system.
System Response

Further analysis:
