i have a problem when i stop and start the ias 6.0 sp2. The problem
apparent is that when i stop the ias the IAS web connector plugin stop,
then i start the ias and when i try to connect to a servlet in my ias
the page i find in my brwser tell me "The documento contained no
data.Try later again ..". Afte this i see that the IAS web plugin begin
to start and then the same connect to the servlet works.
Somebody can help me.

- The O/S version & the web server with the service pack
- What method are you using to start & stop the application & web
server ?
- What application are you invoking to see this error ?

How to stop the auto-start of log reader agent (replication) right after my database is restored?

I have the scenario where the SQL server is restored (after migration).
This database has transactional replication set-up on one of the databases. When I do a manual delete and restore of the database, I see that the replication starts right after the publisher and subscriber are restored.
Replication agents should not start and run before the integrity checks are completed. How to stop the replication from auto starting right after the migration?

Thanks Pradyothana, I have disabled the logreader, distribution agents through sp_update_job in Tsql script. I have also verified that there are no pending transactions to be replicated to the subscriber, I see that the job is still being executed. Is there
any other way to disable the jobs?
Steps I followed
Started with a Working publication and subscription
Disabled the jobs (log reader and distribution agents)
Backed up publisher, subscriber, distribution and msdb
Deleted the publication, subscription, publisher and subscriber
Restored the publisher, subscriber, distribution and msdb
Enabled the jobs and executed sp_replrestart
Observations/Issues
Replication does not work
Replication monitor does not show any error
Jobs are shows as enabled but not started in job monitor
Not able to start/stop the log reader and synchronization manually.
I am not sure if I have missed something while restoring the db.

I had restarted the cacheagent by using the following command
Call ttCacheUidPwdSet();
call ttCacheStart();
Also tried
ttAdmin -oraAgentStart -oraAgentUID test -oraAgentPWD test cgdsn to manually start the Agent.
If I use ttCacheStop() it gives the message the Cache agent has already been stopped.

Experts,
kindly advice for this error when create vm from a templates, while i'm not having this issue when create the vm to another host from the same templates,
firewall is disabled and no antivirus on the host.
The network and the ping is very stable, and the WS-Management service is running on the host,

Recommended Action
Ensure that the Windows Remote Management (WS-Management) service and the VMM agent are installed and running and that a firewall is not blocking HTTPS traffic.
This can also happen due to DNS issues. Try and see if the server (ms-lab-01.eccsolutions.local) is reachable over the network and can be looked up in DNS. You can ping the virtualization server from VMM management server and make sure that the
IP address returned matches the IP address locally obtained from the virtualization server.
If the error still persists, restart the virtualization server, and then try the operation again.

and the drop happen in the customization after deploying the VHDX file as my first image.
I had this answer from partner forum. but i didn't try it yet
Backup your VMM database and then check the
tbl_VMM_Lock table in the
VMM database to see if it has any locks listed, do this after stopping the System Center Virtual Machine Manager Service.
If there are locks listed in the tbl_VMM_Lock
table you can clear them by executing the prc_VMM_ReleaseAllLocks
stored procedure.

How to change the management agent to use new management service ?

Configuring the Management Agent to Use a New Management Service
Hi,
I am trying to change the management agent to use new management service using following process.
1. Stop management agent.
2. Change in file Agent_home/sysman/config/emd.properties
For values REPOSITORY_URL and emdWalletSrcUrl and emdWalletDest
3. Delete all the files in the following directories:
AGENT_HOME/sysman/emd/upload/
AGENT_HOME/sysman/emd/state/
4. Start the management agent.
./emctl status agent is showing the new URL for management server (OMS).
But I am not able to locate the new host on the Web console at the OEM console where it is changed to.
Can you suggest me workaround for the same?

Does anyone know what is this mean and how to fix this?
I checked the records and they are not being replicated, and the connection to the subscriber are not active for some reason; but I don't know how to fix it.

It basically means that the replication agent has not logged a status message back to the replication subsystem.
Basically you can't stop it, and these messages let you know if the agent has hung.
However you can delay the time before the subsystem will report this message. Do this by the following query - this will delay this message to 10 minutes from the default of 5 minutes. I have set this to days when replicating over ISDN/Phone lines.

I want to stop and start the services...

As an outline, it looks ok I think.
You may need some env variables set up in the script, add some error handling, etc...

How to stop SQL Server Agent Job if Stored Procedure returns value 0

I have SQL Server 2012 SSIS.
I have 2 SSIS packages.
I have created SQL Server Agent Job for running packages.
I have created steps. If first step have run succesfully next step is run.
I have need to add new logic.
I have validation stored procedure, which validate DB table values and returns 1 or 0.
I would like to create logic where first of all this SP is runned. Return value of SP determines if steps are run or not.
I was thinking to use Execute SQL Task for running SP.
If value 1 is returned, then run rest of Tasks is run.
If value 0 is returned, what should I do so that Job is stopped? I need assistance!
I want current step to stop never moved to next step.
Is there any SSIS tasks, which can stop the Job?
Or should I make Step for running validation SP?
How to do so that if value 0 is returned stop Job.

How to stop the activity clipboard linkage between two transactions?

Hi Experts,
We are using CRM 2007. In CRM, since there is no check that the agent needs to work on transactions related to once customer at a time, our agents are able to work on different different transactions belonging to different customers one after another.
As a result, transactions belonging to two different customers are getting linked in the Activity Clipboard of interaction Record as well as Service Order transactions.
We need to place a check so that before the link is created, we can compare the customers of the two transactions and if they differ, we should not create the link. Can you please guide me where is the best place to put such a check?
As per my analysis, we need to stop the doc flow being created if the transactions have different sold to/customer.
Any pointers/suggestions?

Unable to stop/start SIA Agent - BOBJ XI 3.1 on RedHat Linux

We have the BOBJXI 3.1 installed on the Red Hat Linux Machines(Custom Installation across Two Red Hat Linux Servers).
Node 1 - Linux BOX 1 - Tomcat and all the BOBJ Services except CMS
Node 2 - Linux BOX 2 - MySql and CMS
Problem Description :
We have two instances of the CMS running on the Linux BOX2.
I have assigned the port 6401 to the CMS2 through CMC,The CMS1 is running with deafult port 6400.
CMS is stopped thorugh the CMC.
Through the command line ccm.sh tool on the Linux BOX2,We tried to stop the CMS.
        ./ccm.sh -stop all or sia agent .The Script is not doing anything .
Unable at start/enable the servers on Node2-Linux BOX 2
        ./ccm.sh - start all
        Message on the Command Prompt:
        Starting all the servers...
        Failed to Register Name Server:Reason:A Server of this name already exists( STU00188)
        ./ccm.sh - enable all
        Creating Session Manager
        Logging into CMS
        err: ERROR could not logon to CMS ( STU00152).
        err: ERROR Description:The System ..can be contacted but their is no CMS running at port 6401.

This looks like an issue with your pid file which is created whent he server starts and should be deleted but may not have been.
Look in <bobj home>/serverpids directory for the pid file that relates to the server process. If you find that file, delete it.
What I think is happening is the system is checking to see if the pid file exists which should tell it if the server is there. The pid is there so it says it can't start. But the actual program isn't there so when you try to use it, it says it's not up.

Stopping the service order from further processing

Hi Experts,
According to my requirement, the service orders will be generated by the call centre agents , then they will release and the technicians will be determined . The pager messages will go to the technicians.
But the service order whic are generated after 5 PM , we should not send the messages to the technicians althought the service orders are released.
For this where should I do the coding , which is the exact place to stop the service order from further processing.
Please help me out in this.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

Help finding the SQL agent job status messages

I am building a report in SSRS which will show the status of all the SQL agent jobs ran on a particular day. IMHO, the status messages created in the job history are not that useful. So, I would like to show the status message which can found by following
the path given below:
Integration Services Catalog -> SSISDB -> Solution Name -> Projects -> Project Name -> Packages -> Right click Package Name-> Reports -> Standard Reports -> All Executions -> Click on All Messages
If you follow the exact path, we find out the exact error related to last unsuccessful execution of the job.
Can someone please tell me how to find it?
