Stop the "thank you; your message has been sent"

I have a interview handler/voicemail account setup to gather information from customers. I wanted to add my own closing statement instead of the standard "thank you; your message has been sent"; I added a call handler to play my own greeting and then configured the interview handler to transfer to the call handler and then hang up, but before it gets to the call handler, it still plays the "thank you...". How can I stop that from playing?

That prompt is actually associated with the message recording converation which is used by call handlers, subscriber and interviewers - you can't turn off the prompt for just one specific interview handler.
You can turn it off system wide by replacing the promot in question with a silent (empty) prompt, but this would then remove that prompt in all cases where a message recording was terminated.

  • When I send a message to blueyonder the system says the message has been sent yet the recipient cannot find it in his emails or on the server.

    I compose a message and press send. The system states that it connecting and then that the message has been sent. When the recipient looks for the message on his system and/or the server he cannot find the message. I have sent him messages direct from my server and also Outlook Express and he does get them it is only when using Thunderbird do the messages go missing. Do I have to use special settings to send messages to Blueyonder?

    I'd suggest you contact your email provider. Similar problems have been reported from Virgin users.

    If all you did was rename your ID, you can go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, choose Delete from My iPhone when prompted, then sign back in with your renamed ID.  Deleting the account only deletes the account and any data you are syncing with iCloud from your phone, not from iCloud.  Provided you are signing back into the same account and not changing accounts, your data will be synced back to your phone when you sign back in.
    If, however, you are changing to a new account with a new ID, choose Keep on My iPhone when prompted.  Then choose Merge when you sign into the new account and turn your iCloud syncing back on to upload your data to the new account.
    Before deleting the account, save you photo stream photos to your camera roll (tap Edit, tap all the photos, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll).

    I ordered the Plus, 64GB, in Silver. And I was getting the same "expected delivery date not available" until about a little over and hour ago.  Check it once more and noticed that the status had changed to "your order has been sent for processing". I was a bit shocked to see the change too since everyone else was having the "not available message".  I'll keep checking and will post if the status changes again.

    If you are having issues receiving the email verification for your security questions, you may find the following article helpful:
    When you provide a rescue email address during Apple ID creation, you will receive an email from Apple to verify that the email address provided is accurate. If you don't see an email from Apple asking you to verify your rescue email address, you may want to check your SPAM folder. If you still haven't received the email from Apple, you can sign in to My Apple ID (appleid.apple.com) to resend your rescue email address. To resend your verification email, click on Password & Security. Then, click the Resend link located in the Rescue Email Address section.

  • TS4002 When sending messages from iCloud on PC keeps telling me "message not sent" when message has been sent and keeps message as draft.  Help please.

    Everytime I send a message from iCloud on my desktop PC it states that message cannot be send at this time.  However when I look at sent folder, message has been sent.  Also message appears also under draft folder.  This only happens on dektop.  No issues on any of the iOS devices.  Please help.  Thanks

    When sending from one mac email account to another email account on the mac it seems to send fine, and it moves to the sent items, but nothing appears in the mac inbox.
    When sending from a mac account to the pc, it seems to send fine, and it moves to the sent items, but nothing appear in the PC inbox.
    When sending a massage from the PC to my mac email, it send fine from the PC and arrives in the inbox on the mac.
    mac to mac - seems to send but dosent arrive
    mac to pc - seems to send but doesnt arrive
    pc to mac - seems to send and arrives.
    As i said it was all working fine yesterday and for four years previous to that, but now it has just stopped.

  • "Your Message Has Been Read" messages from Samsung Galaxy User

    I have an iPhone, my friend has a Samsung Galaxy S4.  Randomly, I will receive what looks like a text message from him saying "Your message to 555-555-5555 has been Read". (that's not his real phone number )
    In his messaging app, he does not even see this appear at his end, so it's not like he's typing it out.  It doesn't even register as a message from his end.  It seems to happen randomly with messages, but much more frequently if I send him a picture message.
    I have swapped my iPhone with a new one under warranty including a new sim card, plus I've updated from iOS 6 to iOS 7, and it still happens.
    On his Galaxy, he has Delivery Reports disabled under his settings.  On my iPhone 4S, I have read receipts disabled as well.
    He claims it's me requesting a read receipt, I claim it's his phone sending it to me.  Either way it's annoying as ****!  The fact that it doesn't show up in his messages app makes me think it's something behind the scenes or carrier related.  I'm on Rogers, he's on Telus.
    Can anyone help me figure out how to disable these messages from coming in?

    My sister is getting about 1 message per minute. She has a Samsung Galaxy II or III. I have an LG G2.
       "Your message to (phone #) has been Read"
    When I turn on "Airplane mode" on my phone, she stops receiving these text messages, so it's likely my phone.
    The issue started when I did a restore of my phone yesterday evening from an backup I created a few hours earlier. The backup utility was LG's backup.
    I do have MightyText, but haven't used it in a while. I might try uninstalling it to see if it helps, but I don't think it's related to MightyText. I check "Battery" to see which apps are using my battery to find the culprit, but found nothing unusual.
    I'd appreciate any help.

    Thank you.  The troubleshooting guide online suggest resetting network settings and I did a restore to factory default.  Since then I was able to receive another text message from the sender and it worked fine.  He also left a voice mail message (several) and I'm not able to retrieve those either.  Thank you so much for responding.

    The first time was in January 2012 (approx.). The next time was on the date and time shown below. The first time it was sent I diligently replied to the web site show and waited for further instructions. Nothing happened, blank screen. So I refreshed the screen. Nothing, blank screen. I didn’t realize at the time that the desired effect had been achieved by the web site. A background program of some type had changed the way FIREFOX displays most web pages making them unusable to a large degree. It took me some weeks (about 6) to figure out how to regain my full browser functionality. But at that point I still had not put 2 and 2 together.     I do not remember exactly how far I had to go to repair FIREFOX the first time. I seem to recall starting with disabling add-ons. Then I just kept going one step further and testing until completely removing the browser and reinstalling it. I saved most user settings and favorites to reload afterwards but had to re install extensions and add-ons.
    My routers NAT is always on. I always use NO-SCRIPT to screen web sites. SPYBOT and AVIRA were and are always active and updated weekly. I am fairly well versed in network security so am usually alert to frontal attacks, this one sneaked by to the back door.
    It seems to remove or change the way html processes the gui removing the formatting and affects some of the button action commands.

    It sounds like your computer may be infected with some sort of a virus / Malware.
    I suggest the following resources:
