Stop Watch Timer for iRiver Clix

Hi all, I've just finished my first Flash Lite program for my
Clix. It is a Stop Watch timer that I needed for when I run. It
works really well and looks pretty good, too.

Is there a stop watch timer plugin out there?

I'm doing a lot of track racing videos these days and need to find a digital timer I can put on the screen acting as a lap timer (i.e a timer that can show down to at least 100th of a second and preferable 1000th of a second). Now I know since I'm using PAL most of the time, so 1 frame is about 0.04 second but I just couldn't figure out how I can build a FX script to achieve that nor could I find a suitable plugin. I'm pretty sure someone out there would need something like that too, I'm just too ******** at googling things, can someone please help me?

There's just no way to build what you're asking for - a frame is your quanta. The closest you can come - as you said - is .04 of a second per frame. I can think of ways to modify a timecode counter to up a number in .04 second increments instead of frames, but a 100th of a second - +a thousandth of a second+ - no way...

ICal not accepting times for events

Not sure I'm on the right forum. Posted about this on the MacBook forum but haven't gotten a response there.
iCal recently stopped accepting times for me. When I go to enter an event there is space for only two digits in the time field. I assumed the numbers entered would be for the hour. When the event is entered, however, it turns out that the hour is always 07 and the number entered in the two-digit field is used as the minutes value.
The calendar is not much use to me this way. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Very cool! Thanks for the detailed reply and glad you found the solution. BTW the plist files are property lists files, in short like a preference. Sometimes they can get corrupted however the good news is the solution is very simple. Just do what you did (locate the offending plist and drag it to the desktop) and it will recreate itself.

N97 no stop watch or count down timer?

There are some basic functions you expect on every phone, not least on the flag ship of Nokia. I havn't had a nokia for a while but my last one had both timer and stop watch, I was really surprised to find these functions were missing and that you have to pay for third party apps to get these functions.
There are several threads on this forum about these apps missing from other S60 models. Are there any plans on releasing these apps or do I need to get the freeking egg timer?

It has a bug in it though. When the counter gets down to 5 sec or so, the time changes to 9.59.59. It happened twice the first two minutes I tested the app but I haven't been able to reproduce it now for a while now. Hope it doesn't happen when the cake is in the oven
Still, even though s60 never had these apps, I can't see why they couldn't just start providing providing them. Unless they want 3rd party application programmers to have a really simple app to start with and make some chash to keep them going for more advanced apps.

In Month View, showing start and stop times for appointments

I don't think you can in iTunes.
Multiple editing in Get Info does not offer an option to change start/stop times.

the battery won’t melt because of long connection to the AC charger, although that has the potential of reducing the battery’s life.
Do you have access to a second 60 W AC charger to test with your MacBook Pro, or access to a second 13-inch MacBook Pro against which your AC charger could be tested?

If I have manually set "Start Time" and "Stop Time" for songs, and my hard drive is backed up in Time Machine, when files/songs are transferred on new hard drive, will my "Start Time" "Stop Time" options be there?

My Macbook Pro will be going in for reimaging and my hard drive will be wiped, I want to know if all my iTunes preferences will be copied if I have backed them up on Time Machine. Specifically, if I have set certain "Start Time" and "Stop Time" for my songs, and I copy my iTunes library, will these "Start Time" and "Stop Time" options remain or will I have to manually set them one by one once again? As far as I'm aware the start & stop times are stored in the library database, not the media files. If you backup/restore/transfer the whole library then the settings are included. If you create a complete copy of your iTunes folder on another drive you can connect to that copy by holding down option/alt as you start iTunes so you can check that everything is working properly before you send the Macbook away.

Do you have current backups?
Those symptoms could indicate a failing Hard drive. If it dies, all your documents go with it unless you have Backups.

How to stop the process for some time

I want to stop the process for some time can any one give the package or keyword or example for the same
For suppose two programs A and B.. .B will run based on output of A. What i need is... When A is executed the process will stop for 5mins then B has to execute...

You can use signals with DBMS_ALERT to "wake up" a procedure.
Procedure A is something like this:
DBMS_ALERT.REGISTER('B_FINISHED');
do logic...
when finished - send a signal
DBMS_ALERT.SIGNAL('A_FINISHED','B you can start');
now wait until B is finished
DBMS_ALERT.WAITANY(...)
continue logic hereAnd Procedure B is
DBMS_ALERT.REGISTER('A_FINISHED');
wait for a to finish
DBMS_ALERT.WAITANY(...);
do logic...
when finished, signal A it can continue
DBMS_ALERT.SIGNAL('B_FINISHED','A can continue');This is useful if u they need to wait for each other within the code. if they just need to wait - call B from A.

You can control the changing of PO in the enhancement which name you can search here. There are three kinds of enhancement: check, change and save. You need select the kind of 'change'.

Hello skdog I possibly think your ipod touch is black because it has not charged. If your dock is broken it might just mean the dock will be broken and so might be the USB port. You should see an Apple shop nearby and hand it over and see what they can do. I hope this information works!
