Stopped, license check failed
Hi, after use NW about 2 month, now the proccess jcontrol.exe is stopped, in he status appear the error: "Stopped, license check failed". If i restar the computer, work, but only about one hour... What happend?
Thanks,
Hi,
Follow these steps..
To generate the license key you need to follow this procedure.
Find out the hardware key of your instance.
For this go to the visual admin----
> licensing adapter
Visual admin has to be accessed from this path \usr\sap\SID\JCxx\j2ee\admin and run go.bat
You should also have a S-user ID to generate the license.
Go to service.sap.com/licensekey
Give the required credentials.
Then supply the required details like SID, hostname, Database etc..
You will get a license file after some time.
Then again go to Visual admin----
> licensing adapter
upload the license file, and the licensse will be applied.
revert back if you have any queries.
Do reward points if useful.

Nayana

Oracle License Checking Failing!
Hi,
I am trying to get the JDBC driver for Oracle working but
am getting the following error when I try to use the dbping
utility provided:
java.sql.SQLException: Fail to load jDriver/Oracle due to license checking failed!
There is a copy of the WebLogicLicense.xml file in my WL_HOME directory.
I'm sure I must be missing something really silly - please help!
Thanks!
Sukhy
[att1.html]i have the same problem as the exception u specify. Seems like the dbping cannot
find the license althought i include the path to the xml to my classpath. I am
using Weblogic6.1. Anyone has the idea?

PS touch License Check failed...
I changed my google account, and now my PS One app says License check failed. Why? How can this be fixed?
Is this the first time you launch PS Touch?

Cannot launch PS Touch - License check failed
Hello
Have downloaded PS Touch and in settings have activated my access to my Creative Cloud account.
Each time I try to begin a tutorial is comes up with an error message: "Cannot launch PS Touch - License check failed. Sign into Google Play, If the problem persists, contact Adobe Support."
I have signed into Google Play and checked my account settings there and then opened the app from within Google Play. App is able to be accessed - I can see the tutorials but when in touch Begin Tutorial the above error message keeps coming up.
I am using a Samsung Galaxy Tab10.1 running Android Version 4.0.4
ThanksHi. I'm sorry to hear that you have trouble tunning PS Touch.
Can you please try the following.
- have the network running on your device
- double check that your device has the correct date set
- restart PS Touch
If that won't help please try to re-install via google play store.
Thanks,

Prevent ATP confirmation if license check fails
Hi
We are using SAP foreign trade ( legal control ) for controlling licensing requirements in sales orders. However, if a line item is on a hold due to failure license check, the schedule line is still confirmed thus blocking stocks against the line item.
We would like to hold the confirmation on the line item if it has failed license check.
Has anyone been able to achieve this ?
Appreciate your help
Regards
Rohit ZalaniHi,
I have a similar requirement and I have proposed a solution which was accepted by my client since they have barely 2 or 3 line intems in a particular sales order. I do not know if this will really be helpful for you but you may give it a try.
The solution would be to place a reason of rejection (with description as approval block) at the item level. When a reason for rejection is placed on a particular item, it will not transfer the requirements to MD04. Once the approval is received you can remove the reason for rejection. This will again populate your requirements in MD04. I have tested and given it to my client and they are using it perfectly fine.
You can also include this reason for rejection in Incompletion log so that the user dosent forget to assign the reason fofr rejectio before saving the order. You can also get a report of rejected orders in VA05.
The downside of this is that if there are 100-200 or more line items in a particular order, then manually assigning a reason for rejection and releasing it would be difficult. You might have to think of some logic to be built to automate this.
Please let me know if this helps and if you find any alternate solution please update it in this thread.

NW04s full version Sneak Preview (java): License check failed
I've seen similar posts, but not exactly the same thing.
I installed the Sneak Preview Full Edition (Java), and finally installed it today. It shuts down after 30 minutes with an error from jcontrol.exe - the license check has failed.
It's not an expired license (I just downloaded it this week, and installed it today).
I've seen several posts related to using the Visual Administrator to manipulate licenses, but I haven't seen how to start this tool - there are no instructions I've found that are any more detailed than "start the Visual Administrator".
I feel like I'm almost getting it. Can anybody provide me that missing link? Finally got it going properly.
I adjusted my system clock to fall between the licence dates found in Visual Administrator and restarted the system.
It didn't work.
I uninstalled the sneak preview edition,
Set the system clock to 15/Dec/2005,
Reinstalled the the sneak preview edition.
It did worked this time.
I was surprised by the licence dates in Visual Administrator. This time that the start date was set properly from 15/Dec/2005 to expire on 15/Mar/2006.
However in the first installation, the licence dates are
from Nov/05 to May/06 which is 6 months.
This time i got the licence from Dec/05 to Mar/06 which is 3 months.
I observed 2 differences between these 2 installations.
1) After my first installation, while the jcontrol.exe is still starting some processes, I tried to login to VA couple of times unsuccessfully. In my next attempt to login to VA, it asked me to change my password and I did change it from abcd1234 to something else.
When I changed my password, may be jControl.exe didn't pick it up instantly and tried to use some services using the old password which might have caused the problem.
2) In my second installation, I changed my system date to 15/Dec/2005.So.. to prevent any sort of automatic date synchronization, I've disconnected the internet connection.
This time the installation date was taken into consideration by the installer to create the licence.
It is still a mystery to me why the licence date was set to some old dates in my first install. -
Tried to install twice but received this message. Was online when using it for the first time after both installs. Deinstalled app twice but have only received one refund. So will I be charged for an app that doesn't work and which I no longer have on my tablet?
I'm sorry to hear that you have trouble running PSTouch.
Please try a clean install (after a reboot of you device ) via the play store app.
When you launch the PSTouch app for the first time you need your google play account plus network running on your tablet device.

To whom it may concern,
It looks that my license is expired but based on the instructions to update my license I'm unable to get into the Visual Administrator to update. It kind a caught 22? How am I going to update the license key if I'm unable to log into the Visual Administrator? Anyone has any suggestions? Is there another way to update the license key?

I have just purchased Photoshop Touch through Google Play store. When I try to run it I get an error message saying license check failed and to sign in to Google play but if the problem persists to contact Adobe. Any ideas what the problem is?
When you launch PSTouch for the first time it's important to have network and you're signed-in with your play account. Please try this...
1. Uninstall PS Touch
2. Reboot the device and reinstall PS Touch via
the play store app
3. Launch PSTouch . For the first launch of the app you need a network connection and signed in with your play account
Hope that helps.

How Creative Cloud Photography License Checks In When Offline?
It is my understanding that if you are a month to month subscriber to the Creative Cloud Photography plan that there is a monthly mother ship check in for license verification. As a travel photographer I am often without internet access for quite sometime. So am I correct in assuming that if a Creative Cloud license checks fails I can not use Lightroom? I suppose the standalone Lightroom perpetual license is the better choice for this ? Anyone had problems with this license model?
So the answer to my question of "So am I correct in assuming that if a Creative Cloud license checks fails I can not use Lightroom?" is yes? I would like to go with the CC photography option, but risk of being denied use of tools that I would have rightfully paid for is a terrible snake in the Creative Cloud that is not clearly explained! I don't see the point in this. Internet is still a long ways from being available all over the planet and places where photographers roam.
I've been using the trial version of CC Photo. Will I be able to open the catalogs that I've created with the trial version of Lightroom with a "boxed" perpetual license version of Lightroom?

How can I stop a task sequence if a custom HTA preflight check fails?
In our currently deployment method, we launch an HTA program before initiating the OSD process. This is only when run from the RAP menu, not via PXE. When a user initiates OSD through that menu, they get a message prompting them to close Outlook, and
a countdown of 5 mins, then OSD starts. They also have the ability to click on an 'OK' button to proceed on their own.
I've created a new script which checks WMI if Outlook and/or OCS are open, and if the machine is running on battery, spit out a "Failed" response and stop the HTA. I've also added a "recheck" button to re-do the check, and an 'OK
button if people jsut want to continue.
I'm curious if there is a way to prevent the task sequence from continuing if any of those conditions arent met. Currently it just pops up and says "Failed, Cannot conitue", but if they close the window, the task sequence thinks the program
has run, and the OSD migration starts. I'd like to be able and get the script to cancel the OSD process if a check fails.
Has anyone had success with this, using WINXP? I'd use the MS pre-flight check but it's only for WIN7.Interesting. Thanks for the response. Is there anybody out there that can assist with VBS part of the solution?
Here's the code I'm working with. Currently the battery piece isnt working as it should but I can figure that our, eventually. I'd like to get Jason's proposed solution in the code. If this isn't the right place, I'll take this somewhere
else.

Background job failing with license check error
Hi Experts
In our ERP 6.0 system ,all the background jobs are failing with license check error.
Have checked the license in SLICENSE and the license is fine.
There is no warning while users are loggign in ,but when any background job is runing its failing with error
Job started
Logon not possible (error in license check)
Job cancelled after system exception ERROR_MESSAGE
Also performed the license test which is failing

In SLICENSe the Hardware key field is not BLUE or BLACK and its showing the exact hardware key which i can see at OS level with saplicense -get command.
@Jagadish
Note is good refrence, i reiinstalled the Digitally signed license with saplikey command and it was successful.
But still the license test is failing at OS Level..below is the command prompt output.

I have MacOS 10.5.8. It is not booting. It stops at the blue screen. I used the disc utility - verify disc. I get the following message - Invalid sibling link. Volume check failed. Error: Filesystem verify or repair failed. Please give a solution anybody?
Many times I tried to simply update from 10.5.8 without any success. It starts and after few minutes ...
I used many different install disks (I bought ofiicial release from Mac seller), so I think this is not a problem with wrong version or bad install disk. A few days ago I've got back my computer from Apple technical support and technician told me he had this same problem with system installation -
Failed online license check for Add-ons
I'm using creative cloud on mac and am a fully paid member.
I have the latest updates to Photoshop & Extension manager.
In Photoshop CC 2014 when I browse to extensions to try and run 'AnimDessin2' it is not visible (the only add on visible is Kuler) despite installing it from the Adobe add on site. Similarly if I try to install it manually by downloading the add on and running it from extension manager CC I get a message saying 'Failed online license check for Add-ons'.
I've tried signing in and out of creative cloud but have no luck in using this or any other extension from the add on site.
Please help. Please follow How to install the plugins in Photoshop CC 2014 - Powered by Kayako eSupport Help Desk Software to install it.

Connection to License Server Failed after upgrade to PL45
Hi Experts,
My client is using SAP B1 SP01 PL39, Windows 2003 OS Server. I have recently upgraded the server to PL45 but after the upgrade, the workstations are encountering "Connection to License Server Failed" every time they log to the server.
Our workaround is to go to Server suite Manager> License Manager> settings> click 'set' and the message "The port is now updated....". After which, the workstations can now log to the server.
The problem is we cannot do this workaround everyday. I tried changing the server connection in the server suite manager to: IP no., server name or localhost but still to no avail.
A help from you guys would be very much appreciated.
Thank you.

As Van mentioned above, the issue may caused by the TAO NT Naming service.
Please check the status of TAO NT Naming service/License Manager
when the issue happens. And in case the error is really caused by
those services, please try to re-install the whole server tools.
Also,if the issue still persists,as another workaround we suggest you to use a simple
batch script to test the Status of the TAO NT naming service,
and restart it when the services was stopped.
Such a script can be launched with windows scheduled every several
minutes.
@echo off
net start find "TAO NT Naming Service"
IF %ERRORLEVEL% EQU 0 (
echo Ok - "TAO NT Naming Service" is running
) ELSE (
echo Error - "TAO NT Naming Service" is not running
net stop "TAO NT Naming Service"
net stop "SAP Business One License Manager 2005"
net start "TAO NT Naming Service"
net start "SAP Business One License Manager 2005"
