Stopping a material to be procured more than a particlar price

Hi all,
My client wants that some materials, I have been given a list of the materials, should not be procured above a particular price. How to configure only for few materials.

Hi,
You can maintain following data -
1) In the material master data, maintain Source List tick in Purchasing view.
2) In the source list, maintain the approved sources (vendor number).
3) In the Info Record, maintain the required price in Conditions. Select the condition & go to additional details. Maintain upper limit same as the condition price.
4) Do not give the authorization of creating or changing material master, info record & source list to the buyers.
This will prevent the buyers from raising POs for more price than the approved price (maintained in Info Record) on the approved vendor. Also they will not be able to change the vendor as system will not allow to raise POs on vendors other than those maintained in source list.
