Stopping call forwarding on one of two numbers?

HI,
I have two Sype numbers, the main one for the UK and a new one that I bought a couple of months ago, a Hong Komg number.
The HK number used to be used by a tourism website, and although they have changed their main number on their website, references to the old number still exist in a few places and I get calls, sometimes several a day to the number.
I have contacted the company in HK twice and asked them to clear up the problem, but I suspect that the calls come from external websites that they don't control and are unable to remove the numbers.
So, I would like to stop call forwarding on one of my numbers, but it doesn't seem like this is possible, which is obviously ridiculous but hey ho.
I am therefore trying to cancel the HK number, but when I go to the cancel page and hit cancel the page just reloads without doing anything. I also believe that the number stays valid until the yearly payment runs out.
Questions then, can I cancel the number and peoperly kill it, so I stop getting these calls?

Hello and welcome to the Skype Community.
Checking your options. Canceling the HK Number wouldn't be effective until it expires on February 16th 2016, Which error message [if any] do you receive when you try to cancel call forwarding to the HK Number?

I recommend that you always run the latest Skype version: Windows & Mac

This is supported with the restriction shown below;
final number
Router(config-voice-hunt-group)# final 8888
Defines the last extension in a voice hunt group.
If a final number in one hunt group is configured as a pilot number of another hunt group, the pilot number of the first hunt group cannot be configured as a final number in any other hunt group.

index# is a standard ETSI/3GPP command which fetches the corresponding index on your SIM phone book. Therefore, if you edit your SIM with a SIM reader, you are able to select which phone number shall come up. When it comes to the name display … that is an interesting feature request for platform like Series 30+ because the development of Series 40 ceased last year.

The image you have uploaded is unable to be displayed.
Call Forwarding is a carrier controlled feature. Most likely, the number you see could be for the Voice Mail server.
It's advised you call your mobile service provider to further assist with this feature.

8330 call forwarding icon won't disappear

I have a 8330 and I cannot get the call forwarding icon to disappear. Last week I had to forward my number to my office number. I then got a new phone number on this curve. I can make and receive call normally. But the call forwarding icon is still on the top of the screen. When I go into the call forwarding menu it shows calls being forwarded to my office. If I try to change that to "do not forward" the phone tries to make a call but I get the "Your call cannot be completed as dialed". I have also tried to change the call forward number but same result as above. Anyone have any ideas?!?!?

Track call forwarding from two online numbers

Hi,
I have two online numbers that are being forwarded to one phone number. How can I track separately the calls coming to my online numbers? Right now I can only see the calls altogether to both numbers.

Except for a very few countries where you can receive an SMS message at a landline number (someone mentioned Germany as an example, somewhere else in these forums), you are not able to have a landline number show up as your Caller ID when calling from Skype. You are generally limited to using certain Skype Online Numbers or a mobile number that passes the SMS verification process, and that's it for Caller ID with Skype.

Unfortunately, Skype does not provide a facility to do this. While a Skype account's incoming calls, whether to the Skype account itself or a Skype Number, can be forwarded to multiple mobile or land line numbers, each Skype Number purchased for an account is considered affiliated with that account and cannot be forwarded separately.
The work-around people use is to create a new account for each Skype Number needed; that way call forwarding and caller ID can be differentiated between the numbers.
The thing to be mindful of in doing this, however, is to use different payment methods, otherwise the payment methods and accounts may be trapped inadvertently by Skype's anti-fraud filters. More details about this here:

Call forwarding of 2 Online Numbers

I bought 2 Online numbers. I have already set up call forwarding for 1 number to my cell (cell #1) and would like to do the same for the other number to my other cell. But it seems that I can only forward to one number (cell #1), how can I forward the second Online number to cell#2?

Currently, this would require a 3rd party application using the Skype public API or SkypeKit. This function is currently not supported by the Skype clients.

Two Freetalks, two numbers, one Skype Account

I have two freetalk 1200's, one in my home and one in our vacation home. I also have two Skype numbers. I'd like one Skype number to be associated (exclusivily) with the home Freetalk and the other number associated (exclusivily) with the vacation home. To be clear I don't want them to ever BOTH ring when one number is called. This is b/c we sometimes rent out the vacation home.
The Freetalk setup only allows you to associate it with a Skype account. Both houses phones ring when either number is dialed. Is the only solution to have two Skype accounts? That would suck b/c it looks like if i cancel one of the numbers Skype is keeping the $30 i paid for it.

Unfortunately that would be your only solution. If you want the device to act like a separate line, you have to have a separate line. In this case, that would mean a separate account. Purchasing a second number for 1 account means you actually want it to do exactly what it is doing.

thanks for your answer. Yes indeed HTML widgets run only full screen (snif snif). I consider this as a "distinguishing treatment".
One solution i read !!!!! was to create through keynote a countdown clock, to export to quicktime move and to imported at iBA predefined widgets. of course this is not the solution i need.
So, in order to have at the same widget and run together a count down clock and a preview test (20 questions) i must
1)"hack" the preview widget and insert a countdown clock
2) create a preview test using iAD.....

Call Forward to PSTN numbers not working

We have a CUCM version 8.6. The call farward to internal extensions are working fine. But, to the PSTN numbers it is now working. We are able to call the PSTN numbers without any issue. Can somebody help us on this?

The most likely cause for this type of issue is the CSS that is applied @ the Call Forward All level on
the DN config page. Check out the CFWDALL CSS to make sure they are set with a level with
access to PSTN numbers

I realize that my wife could make her own iTunes account; however, she's been using mine for about 2 years now and this hasn't been an issue. I guess with the Family Sharing she can have access to all of our music and apps now with her own account.
I'll have to see if unchecking our emails resolves this issue.

The best way is to not share Apple IDs but also make sure under Settings & Messages on both devices that only one phone number is checked.

There are a lot of posts in the forums today with people having problems with iMessage. There was also a published outage yesterday, so it's possible there are still some issues that may be impacting you both.
I would just wait it out - I'm sure it will be sorted out soon.
