Stopping in middle of some and playing another. Help?

My iPod touch is stopping in the middle of a song and playing the next while the original song that I was listening to is being shown. Any suggestions on how to fix it? Please?

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync all music and resync
- Reset all settings

Stop FLV from auto loading and playing clip

I intend to have four video files on my site.
As of now, when the user goes to the site, all four files
play
simultaneously. What I need is a way (code) to have each
file not automatically start and
allow the usr to click a play button. That button is already
there and you click to activate it.

it happens anytime my laptop is open. iTunes will just open and start playing.
i do notice that it happens most often when i'm streaming content from another site, or from chromecast.

Need serious help!? my itunes says - i tunes has stopped working - everytime i try and play any type of video on my computer.. i have re istalled it, repaired it, tryed cleaning my pc, and i tried updating it but it still wont work? whats wrong with it?

How do I stop my computer from redirecting and playing audio in the background

My iMac is running safari 6.0.2. Im always being redirected to sites, and sometimes there will be audio playing in the background. The only way to stop the audio is to close safari. That would be the only app open at the time the video plays. The video just loops over and over again until I close safari. Ive reset safari, changed open DNS servers, flushed the cashe and verified the all the DNS servers active on my computer. I have webroot installed but it detects nothing. I tried to install rootkit hunter, but it didnt detect anything. Im feeling like my last resort is to ditch everything and start from scratch. Can of the experts out ther help?

I have an iPhone 4 and ever since I upgraded to iOS5 i've got the same problem. Apple need to release a patch as there's no way of fixing this unless we downgrade our phones back to iOS4 which would just suck!
I often shut the music app down and start again but even then the artwork doesn't match the song playing and will only play a few songs. It's frustrating when you're driving or going for a run, having to pull over or stop and sort it out.
We'll have to wait for Apple to bring out a patch unfortunately.

it shouldnt do, online games dont use that much, you only have problems if like alot people who complain on here your downloading movies. keep in mind console demos are normaly about 1g though if you do get any.

When trying to download ios 7.0.4 via itunes, says it will be over 200 hours til download, but then stops before it ever starts and says error. help!

when i tried to dowmload ios 7.0.4 the computer startes the download. it begins counting up hours until the download is finished, when it hits about 130 hours, an error message pops up and tells me that something has gone wrong, network error, etc and says to try again later. im frustrated bc a download shouldnt take that long. i dont know what do do and could use some help.

My "last played" hasn't updated since 9/9 and my play count isn't loading, either. I've tried to reset the play count but it's still not working. Anyone know what I can do?

Delete several tracks you know you've played ... that will cause the last played/play count to be updated.

While listening to songs on my iPod Classic 120gb, some songs will start to play, after 2-3 seconds, stop and start again from the beginning and play through the entire song no problems. On iTunes the songs still plays fine no stopping or starting. All songs are random artists and songs.
Help! its really frustrating!

Do you have any other music software (i.e Limewire) installed? If so perhaps these files are not compatible.

If you uncheck all of the songs, they will only play if explicitly commanded. Command-click in a checkbox and they will all be unchecked. Command-clicking again will check the all again should you want to do that.

Script single button to play frames, then skip some, and continue play?

Just as the topic says, I want to script a button to go to
and play through a motion tween, but then skip some frames to then
play another motion tween all in one button press. For example,
play frame 1 which plays the tween and ends at frame 10 (I have
that part down fine) but then for it to skip ahead to continue to
play frame 20 and then of course stop once it finishes that motion
tween.
Tried a few searches but its too many words to explain so I
wasnt finding anything. Its probably a simple command im just not
familiar with yet. Can anyone help?

I probably should have been more specific. I cant add
anything to the timeline because I have multiple buttons using the
first tween, which is a fade out. Thats why I need a script to add
to each button only to play through that first common tween, and
then skip to play an individual tween set for each button. Like
button 1 goes through the first common tween, a fade out (plays
frames 41 - 53) and its individual tween is frames 54 - 66. This
works fine of course because the tweens are next to each other.
Button 2's individual tween starts on frame 67, so it needs to play
through the common tween fade (41 - 53) skip Button 1's frames, and
continue play on 67. These buttons are located on frame 1 (main
menu) so is it even possible to script a button to do such a thing?
I figured there would be but nothing im trying or seeing online is
working. Heh... does this make sense? :o
The only other way I know it will work is if I copy and paste
all the information in the layers before each section but that
causes me to have to push a lot of information further down the
timeline, kinda making a big mess and causing me to rescript all
frames there.

How do I stop iTunes from opening and playing a song every time I unplug my headphones?

I noticed today that iTunes was opening automatically and playing the first song in my library. Through some searching in the community here, I figured out it has something to do with when I jiggle the cable on my headphones, plugged into the headphone jack. I have an old late 2008 MacBook with all of the latest OS and iTunes, and I need to stop doing this. I flipped through the settings and the community and didn't find a solution other than "don't jiggle the cable".
I need to do some screen recording for work later on today and I don't want iTunes to keep opening and playing audio while I'm doing this. Does anyone know of a way to stop this from happening software side instead of hardware side? It seems ridiculous to me that iTunes would just open up because my headphone jack moved a little.

Making stop and play functions fool-proof

I have a timeline control embedded into my flash piece. It
contains the buttons "Re-Play, Pause, and Play." I am building some
testing software, therefore I have instances where the
animation/sound stops and waits for the user to select an answer.
At first, I had a problem that, when the user would come to a
stop point, they could simply click the play button and the audio
would continue (the play button simply held a command like this):
on (press) {
play();
So I changed it to an IF statement that looked for a variable
before the PLAY button could be pressed. It looks like this:
MP3Player, Frame 1
set ("operator",1);
Play Button
on (press) {
if (operator==1) {
if (operator==2) {
play();
set ("operator",1);
Pause Button
on (press) {
stop();
set ("operator",2);
It shows that, in order for Play to work, the user must first
PAUSE the flash piece.
The problem therein is that if the user comes to a stop in
the timeline, they can simply click PAUSE and then PLAY and
continue on the MP3Player element without advancing any of the
animation. Is there anyone who can help me fix this? Thanks!

Sorry - yeah you're right i didn't think that through
completely. Use the code I suggested though, and add more code
elsewhere. at the moment operator has two states, yeah? 1=playing,
2=paused. You could introduce a third state - 3=quiz(or whatever's
going on in your application).
So wherever you have your stop() action on a frame, add the
line:
operator=3;
and where the user selects their answer(i am assuming the
animation continues on at this point?) and you have a play()
action, add the line:
operator=1;
this should give you what you're asking for. the fleece does
have a point though, that it would make sense to remove the
play/pause buttons altogether during the quiz as they are inactive
anyway.
