Stopping Planned orders to ECC

Hi All,
I am facing an issue in which the planned orders created in the simulation version are getting transferred to ECC. As per our scenario we dont want to move any Planned orders to ECC. Please advise me the way how can i stop the transfer of orders to ECC.
Regards,
Manjit

Hi Kenneth,
Thanks for your reply,
I had already stopped it Transfer of SNP orders to OLTP system. I have selected No Transfer in SNP Tab. But i have not tried selecting No SNP Planned Orders as i thought No Transfer itself means No order should be transfered. Is there any other way to stop orders from the active version.

  • SNP Planned Orders to ECC Process Orders - no PPDS

    Hello Gurus,
Is there a way to covert an SNP Planned orders to ECC Prod. orders? Can one switch off the PPDS in APO and still get the MRP/ MPS planning in APO and  and convert those SNP planned orders into ECC orders in ECC
    Thanks.

    Hi Abhi,
When you CIF SNP and PPDS planned orders to ECC system there is no diffrenciation between both of them (Because component specific details for the orders are not captured in ECC). So in ECC system you can convert Planned orders to Process or production orders by switching PPDS off in APO.
In APO system, SNP itself can plan for all the levels (RM,PM,FG,SFG) so no need of doing MRP.So you can switch off PPDS.
MPS functionality is available in ECC and not in APO system.

  • Wrong production version picked for planned order in ecc after CIF

    Dear experts,
I am new to apo and was working on Cif of transactional data to ecc after planning run in Apo.
we have active integration model and all the master data cifed in apo.
we are cifing ppds ppm which is converted into snp ppm.
    The scenario is:
We have a product FG100 at Loc1. For this product we have five alternate PPM's in APO.
When we do SNP planning run, for some planned order it picked alternate 4 or 5 as source of supply. Which is alright.
The problem is when we see the same planned order in ECC it shows source of supply as alternate 1. i.e. planned order in apo with alternate 4 and planned order in ecc with alternate 1.
Is this the expected behaviour, or there is some configuration setting for this. We want that it shows the same source of supply in ecc as in SNP planned order.
    Best regards,
    AKS

    Hi Vikas/Nandkumar,
thanks for the response, in my case the issue is that I have got two production versions in ECC. One production version is used for planning in CTM while the other version should not be considered in APO CTM for planning.
The productionj version which I am not using for planning, I can manually attach the version in ECC to the planned order and the planned order should get CIFed to APO with the source of supply and resource details.
Vikas after executing the report also the source of supply is not getting displayed in the planned order.
Is their a solution by which i can achieve the above results.
    Thanks,

we took the database export from server A and imported to Server B.
After completing the migration we are facing a problem.

  • SNP Planned order - Doesnt get the complete BOM when CIFd to ECC

    Hello,
When we create SNP Planned order in APO and sent to ECC, the Planned order doesn’t get the complete BOM, it works for the most part, except if we have Materials from multiple plants within the same BOM (sourcing from multiple plants).
Do we have to do any separate Configuration for this scenario?
We are planning only the End item in SNP, and we are generating the production version and PDS transfer to APO. We are not transferring all the materials to APO.
if we go to the Change mode of the Planned order in ECC and re-explode the BOM, I get all the components from the BOM, its just that when the planned order gets created thru the CIF we have this issue.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello Marius
Thank you for your quick response.
I looked at the SAP note you mentioned, the description seems to be matching with the issue we are having. Recently we had SNC implemented, and the note states that that can be the case why the components are getting deleted during planned order creation.
The only thing about this note is its very old, and we are having the SAP 6.0 and SCM 7.2 ,
Do you think this would be still applicable.
I will look into the details and let you know whether the note is applicable for us.

  • SNP planned order availability date difference between APO and ECC

    Hi,
I have observed that SNP Planned order availability date is not matching between APO and ECC. Details are as follows.
I ran SNP Optimizer with bucket offset of 0.5. After publishing the optimizer created planned orders to ECC, only start date is matching.
    Example:
I am using PDS as a source of supply.
Fixed production activity in SNP PDS is 1 day.
    GR processing time: 3 day
After running optimizer planned order is created with dates explained below.
    Start date/time: 09.05.2011 00:00:00
    End date/time: 12.05.2011 23:59:59
    Availability date: 16.05.2011 00:00:00
Because of bucket offset defined as 0.5 optimizer planned order availability is start of next monday.
After publishing this planned order to ECC dates on the planned order is as follows.
    Start date: 09.05.2011
    End date: 09.05.2011
    Availability date: 12.05.2011
I have not maintained any scheduling margin key in ECC. Also if I dont define the GR processing time, planned dates between APO and ECC always match. Can anyone explain the impact of GR time on the availability date.
    Regards,
    Venkat

    Hi Venkadesh,
What's "state stamp"? Do you mean different time zone?
note : 645597  mentioned by Nandha is very helpful:
In standard, CCR will use duedate - "the available date of the output product".
Nandha's words "In SAP APO, if the receipt date of the primary product deviates from the
end date of the last activity of the order, the receipt date
always identifies this as inconsistent. You cannot rectify
inconsistencies of this type by using CCR."
I guess in your PDS or PPM, the output product is not assigned to the End of the last activity. Someone changed it?
Please CIF the PDS or PPM again.
If you really want to apply a note, please use note 815509 as you're using planned order,
and system will use order end  date in CCR instead.
GR time is always considered. BR/Tiemin

  • Modeling dummy product and planned orders

    Hi SAP Gurus,
I have requirement where i need to model particular business requirements on subcontracting and the same is resulting in need of modeling of dummy product and dummy planned orders. Please share your inputs on what would be impact of dummy product and dummy planned orders in ECC. and also how to make sure that it does cause any issues in costing.
I am modeling subcontracting requirement and i need to create following master data.
All the below products are at plant P.
P has the components as Q_D
Q_D has the components as Q
Q has the components as R
Where Q_D is the dummy product produced at plant P.
P and Q are subcontracted items to the vendor V.
P is the finished good, Q and Q_D are Semi finished goods, R is raw material.
When we plan we are creating Purchase orders for P and Q. And Q_D is made inhouse and we need to create planned order for it. how do we handle the planned orders created for Q_D. we dont want them to convert to production orders. we want a way to clear off these dummy planned orders once we close the POs of P and Q.
    Please advise.
    Thanks.
    Jagadeesh

    Hi senthil,
Check if the forecast date is beyond PPDS horizon.
Also in product master on PPDS tab, you should maintain 4 in PP Planning procedure.
    Bye.

  • Debug CIF - ECC inbound - User exit CIFORD03 - Planned order to process ord

    Hi
While Converting planned orders to process orders from APO to ECC, queues are not getting stop in Inbound ECC.. even after setting CIF user as dialog user and maintaining both CIF user and my user ids in /sapapo/c4 to block queues. maintained the same in ECC CIFGPARAMV table.  Outbound queues are stopping in APO, but not able to debug APO outbound queues...
I want to debug user exit CIFORD03 (EXIT_SAPLCORD_005 ) in ECC . Please reply.
    Thanks
    Sreeni

    Hi Sreeni,
The setting in /sapapo/c4 against your user ID would be relevant in this case.
Debugging should be on, and use detailed logging. Also, your RFC user ID should be a dialog user ID or a Service user ID.
Did you make sure that your user ID and the RFC user ID 'in R/3 for APO' have sufficient debug authorizations (including queue debug authorizations)?
(You can find out the RFC user in SM59 in APO against the RFC connection that you have for R/3. )
You should then see a queue stuck in R/3 inbound, where you could enter in debug mode.
If you go to SMQR in R/3, and see a queue called CF, then it's also possible to deregister this CF queue, and then queues will get stuck in R/3 inbound. You could then use this queue for debug if you have sufficient debug authorizations including queue debug.
    Thanks - Pawan

  • PPDS planned order picking p an extra component when published to ECC

    Hi Gurus,
When i create a PPDs Planned order the components are correct ,but when i send the order to ECC,its picking one extra component (whihc is already there in component list).Strange part is that the extra component whihc is popping up in ECc is withlut item category.
Any idea why publishing for only this material is behaving weird.
Please let me know if any suggestion
    Thanks,
    Suyash

    Hi Suyash.
Ok, so if I understood the issue correctly,
    1) Planned Order is created in APO. At this point, there is dependent demand on component X, which is present in the PPM
    2) Planned Order is saved and sent over to ECC. At this point, a new demand on the same component X is created. So now, there are 2 dependent demands for the same component, which is unexpected.
Is this it? I would suggest stopping the planned order queue in the inbound of ECC when it is first sent over from APO, and then checking whether the data coming from APO is correct. Aside from that, check whether there are any CIF user exits in ECC inbound that may be influencing the behavior.

    Tiago

  • Date Mismatch of Planned Orders and Production Orders in APO & ECC

    Dear APO Experts
When i am performing /SAPAPO/CCR , we are getting errors for Few Materials
    Please kindly advice.
    Following error for Planned Orders:
    Order 0026037355 difference for receipt date:    06.02.2012 01:05:53(APO) <-> 04.02.2012 01:05:53
    Message no. /SAPAPO/CIF161
    Diagnosis
Order 0026037355 for material yyyy has a different receipt date in SAP APO and SAP R/3:
Receipt date in SAP APO: 06.02.2012 01:05:53
    Receipt date in SAP R/3: 04.02.2012 01:05:53
    Procedure
This data inconsistency can be rectified by choosing Send to R/3.
Note that the receipt date of the primary product is compared without taking into account the goods receipt processing time between SAP APO and SAP R/3.
Note the following if this message is issued for production/process orders:
In SAP APO, if the receipt date of the primary product deviates from the end date of the last activity of the order (for example, due to an offset or scheduling at the end of a fixed block), the receipt date always identifies this as inconsistent. You cannot rectify inconsistencies of this type by using the reconcile provided in the CIF compare/reconcile function.
In this case, you should deactivate the receipt date comparison. Alternatively, you can activate the order end date comparison if the primary product is assigned to the final operation.
    Procedure for System Administration
You can use the business add-in /SAPAPO/CIF_DELTA3 Enhancements Comparison Report to deactivate individual comparisons.
In SAP Note 645597, you can find example coding with which you can activate the order end date comparison.
    Following Error for Production Orders:
    Order 000100163960 difference for receipt date:    14.01.2012 08:30:00(APO) <-> 23.01.2012 18:29:59

    Receipt date in SAP R/3: 23.01.2012 18:29:59

    Hi,
Kindly check the SAP note mentioned on the message. Or you may reconcile the data by selecting the "send to APO" or "send to ECC" button on thhe CCR.
Also please check oss # 453244 if its releveant to your current system, otherwise please disregard.
    Cheers!

  • Planned orders are not converted into process orders in ECC.

    Dear All,
The issue is that Planned orders with conversion tick are not publishing in ECC as manufacturing orders. We did check the relevant master data consistency between APO and ECC and it seems fine.
We have tried to send the conversion from APO to ECC,all the orders stuck in the R1P inbound queue with error - Order no. XXXX does not exist
    Message no. C/006.
Based on above message and error we found SAP Note 515740 - Inconsistencies in table CIFORDMAP for this issue.
Used the transaction SE38 and created RCFORDCH report and 'Checking inconsistencies in table CIFORDMAP'
Here it shows order series stuck in queues no longer exists.
But not sure how to reconcile the inconsistency in the CIFORDMAP table.
    Would appreciate your advice.
    Regards,
    Sajit SIngh

    Hi Sajit Singh,
Could you take some sample items struck for order conversion and check
whether active PPDS & SNP PPMs available.
In some cases, conversion will be affected for want of PPMs.  If it is the
case with you, try generating the PPM first for that sample item and retry
    converting the orders.
Could you please check and confirm this.
    Regards
    R. Senthil Mareeswaran.

  • Planned orders created at APO side are not coming to the ECC

    Hi All,
I am not getting the planned orders generated in the APO in to the ECC side after running the Product Heuristic. Many times I refreshed the stock requirements at ECC side and also APO side but still the planned orders generate has not come to the ECC. I am just new to APO. It would be great help if somebody can help me can guide/advice me on this.
    Thanks & Regards
    psamp1

As well as Sajeev's reply, you also need to ensure that the Products and Plants you are planning are in an active integration model and that the transactional data you are expecting is also in an active integration model
You can check this by using the transaction CFM5 in ECC, enter your products and plants in the general selection options then tick the checkboxes for Materials, Plants and Planned Orders. On execution the system will tell you if they are in an active model or not.

  • Planned orders appears in RRP3 but when published doesn't appear in ECC?

Planned orders appears in RRP3 but when published doesn't appear in ECC ?
Help me with CIF procedures to bring it to ECC. (without using C5) because i need to convert to production order.?
    Thanks
    Ohio

    Hello Rahul,
Please check the publication setting for location in-house production in /SAPAPO/CP1.
Check active integration model in CMF5, if missing create the integration model by CFM1 and CFM2.
Also you can run the delta report /SAPAPO/CCR  or post processing report /SAPAPO/CPP1 for planned order to transfer.
Also check the CIF application log SLG1.

  • Modifying Sales order in ECC does not modify the planned order in APO?

    Hello,
I have the next situation, a MTO scenario, LPP material,:
    - users create a sales order, quantity 2000M, 2 individual lenghts by 1000M. In automatically, being a MTO scenario, APO generates a planned order to fulfill the requirement with 2000 M qty, individual lenght 1000.
    - users modify the sales order, the quantity 2000 M remains, but will change it in 1 individual lenght by 2000M. APO cancels the precendently created planned order and generates another one, with individual lenght 2000.This is OK.
-users modify the sales order, the quantity remains 2000 M, but again 2 individual lenghts by 1000 M. In this case, the planned order is not cancelled, as expected, but remains with individual lenght 2000, which is not ok.
Any idea how to fix this?
