Stopping user from making in app purchases on a live iPhone app

I am trying to stop user from making in app purchases on a live iPhone app. What i have done is i made Cleared for Sale: No in itunesconnect product id and Status is changed to Status: Developer Removed from Sale. But still i am able to do in app purchase in the app. Any idea why is it? anything i should do? Last Thureday night i have done this changes in itunes connect. i don't want to delete the product id from the itunesconnect.

We want the user to make a change to the purchase requisition using transaction ME52N not transaction ME53N. I don't believe that your exact requirement can be met with standard SAP.
However, this is a very odd requirement. It sounds like you are saying that it is OK for a user to make a PR change in ME52N, but for the same user it is not OK to make a PR change in ME53N.
In most companies, if it is not OK for a user to make a PR change in ME53N, it is therefore also not OK for this user to make a PR change in ANY transaction, including ME52N.
It is a straightforward matter to allow a user access to ME53N and ME52N, but to block his ability to change any PR at any time. If this is your requirement, then consult with your authorization team about the authorization objects that are checked in the ME5* series of transactions. As I recall, it is possible to tailor authorizations (create/change/display etc) by plant, by Purchasing group, by purchasing org,by document type, etc.

US Government is stopping HP from allowing you to purchase applications

Just got my Touchpad a few days ago in the uk. However everytime I try and purchase an app I get Can't Purchase US Government is stopping HP from allowing you to purchase applications. I have rung the issue through to support but nothing yet. Anyone else had this issue ?

I haven't run into that but from the message it's likely that you may be running into an automated trade compliance system. There are restrictions on the export of software containing _any_ encryption technology, or even open APIs for plugging encryption in to an application. It may not mean that it is impossible for you to buy it, but if the system doesn't have the 'n' elements required for it to be confident that you're not in an embargoed country, it will fail closed rather than sell something.

You do not need to move your cursor much when pressing the mouse button to cause the tab to tear-off/tear-away into a new tab. No "sensitivity" setting that I am aware of. The tab in the new window can be dragged back to the original window.

This can be achieved through the roles and authorization.
This can be done through the basis team. they can create user profiles and roles.
For the roles they assign some transaction codes so that they can view the only assigned tr. codes.
Like that ur requirement can be done.
Also u can prevent the user to change any fields in the sales order screen (VA02). for that please modify the authorisations.

Stopping Siri from making calls

Hi guys, is there anyway of stopping Siri from making calls? The problem I am having is that I use Siri on my motorcycle and at high speeds it gets the commands wrong. For example, I say 'play podcasts' and it calls one of my contacts.

I had Airplane mode on but WiFi was also still on when I tested it on my phone.
Scratch that idea...
Here's another one.
If you turn off Siri altogether, you'll revert to the older Voice Control which doesn't rely on a nertwork connection.
Perhaps, that mode will be less likely to misunderstand than Siri.

(I may start a new thread about getting a new router, but I will look for answers first to my questions and only start one if I cannot find answers.)

I don't know how to configure this router to stop users from downloading video like from Google, Torren. I've heard people is using DD-WRT firmware for some linksys routers, but not with this model. You can block the video files by managing the firewall on the computer in such way that the video extension files would be blocked....

Stopping Users from Web Surfing Externally Using IE?

We have a lot of legacy internal application that can only be accessed using IE.
Due to the recent Microsoft announcement concerning IE versions and support/patching. We want to stop users from surfing externally using IE, is there a policy setting (or proxy config, host file mod etc.) that we can use to force this?

For controlling internet access you have the need for proxy server. A free proxy server is SQUID

Restrict users from making repository changes

We want to restrict certain users from making workbench/repository changes. Is this possible through transaction PFCG by roles? If so, what authorizations do I need to customize?

In a nutshell users should have limited authoriztions to items of S_DEVELOP auth. object.

Prevent user from making to many requests...

Hallo everybody,
We are using Tomcat 5.0 and have some large jsp's (reports) that consume large memory.
1. Is there an easy way to prevent a user from making to many requests (eg. if he refreshes the page too many times, Tomcat gets an Out-of-memory error).
Of cource increasing the memory is not the answer I'm looking for (already did that).
2. Or may be a way to retrict a user to a certain maximum of memory
This seems like a common problem; anyone have good advice?

The main reason for multiple refreshes is the report taking too long to run and users getting impatient? Or is there another reason.
1 - Give the users fair warning. Put a message on the page saying "this report takes time to run. do NOT refresh this page as then the report will take even longer"
2 - You might set it up as a two stage process. Generate the report to a file. Then give them a link to check the progress of the report or load it if it is finished.
That way when they refresh, they don't regenerate the report, but just get back a immediate response that tells them "come back later"
3 - Perhaps you might consider the synchronizer token pattern.

4 - restricting users to max amount of memory would be difficult. How do you tell it is the same user? You could use a session variable, and record how many reports they have currently running, and reject any more then 3-4 requests at one time. But that could be worked around quite easily - just open up a new browser and its a new session.

I already have this mess. No you will not. Unless you change back to the country that you bought the app from. Oh, but then you run into the problem that you need a valid address and payment method from that country.
