Why is storage capacity shown as full when it is not? Phone shows storage of only 7.6 GB out of 13 GB, but says I have no more storage. iTunes indicates I am using 5.6 GB under the category "OTHER". This is a sudden change. What happened?

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. To find out what the Other section is on your iPod Nano, the following will explain what the Other section is all about.

How do you delete a phone number from an iphone that is listed under other and not in the contacts list?

When I text a contact in my iphone 4s the name will show up like it should but it has the persons current phone number and another or their old number listed under other. Its not in my contacts on my laptop anywhere so how do I delete that old number, I have looked in my phone contacts its not there but its like the email addressess show up to if you start typing an email address will show up even if its not one in your contacts.

I called Apple Care, tried various things that did not work, then completely reset my iPhone 5 and restored from a recent backup. That worked for a day or so, then the definct "other" number was again offered when I started typing the name of a contact whom I wanted to text.

I just bought the new ipod touch, but when I try to sync it I get told to use the cloud and download from there. How do I sync it to my itunes so that I get all my songs without going through cloud? Otherwise if this isn't possible I am taking this back!

Ipod earased music but itunes shows that it's still on the ipod

I synced my ipod just two days and listened to it yesterday. I downloaded a song on iTunes and when I went to sync it, my iPod was wiped clean but when I hook it up to iTunes, iTunes shows that al the songs are still on there, to include the new song. I didn't accidentally, or deliberately, erase or delete anything. Please advise.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsyncdelete all music and resync
To delete all music go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Music>Tap edit in upper right and then tap the minus sign by All Music
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

I am having a similar problem. I have over 4000 songs giving me this error. I certainily don't want to go in one by one and find them. I know you wrote a script for Windows but I am a Mac user. Is there a fix for me? Here is the info on where the song is currently (used by doing the get info)

Just found the problem those XXXXX made an new security procedure that require you to log in your Microsoft account, and get another password to use on your device (iphone) when you add your Hotmail account for the first time!!!
