Storage location missing in Inbound delivery

Hi ,
When I am getting the ASN or confirmation for my purchase order.
automatically Inbound delivery is getting created.
But here the problem is missing the storage location in inbound delivery.
I maintained the storage location determination (with situation) setup.
could you please help me.

The entry in OMB2 indicates that automatic creation of storage location data in the material master record at the time of the <b>first goods receipt</b> is allowed.
As well the storage location data is only created automatically if the quantity is posted to the "normal" storage location stock. If you have goods movements to special stock (for example, to sales order stock), the data is not created.
To my knowledge the PO generally does not have storage locations,while creating inbound delivery (manually or automatically) storage locations are copied from the material master. So, also check what S.loc. your material master has for the materials you are creating inbound deliveries.

Storage location change in Inbound delivery

Hello Friends,
Inbound delivery created through confirmation control EDI process from our customer and it has a incorrect storage location. We cannot change the storage location though it is editable. (After changing it is going back to incorrect storage location which is not existing in that plant).
the storage location in the purchase order is correct. could not able to understand how the inbound delivery is updated with incorrect SLOC and it is not allowing us to change.
Appreciate any pointers to resolve this issue.

As Joao said it is a custom code but now I ended up in another problem. the entire delivery is not changeable as deleted the delivery quantity while trying out to change the SLOC.
is there any way to update the delivery quantity back,
material freight group is only editable in the delivery item. pls advise

Storage location missing or incorrect Message no. L3432

Hi,
Previously the item we want to zero-in is under warehouse number WH1 under let's say plant 1000-storage location 1010. However this plant 1000 storage location 1010 was later on assigned to a new warehouse number WH2. During the migration period, this item was forgotten to be moved in the system from WH1 to WH2. Hence, we are trying to correct the quantity in WH1 now. However, when we try to post the count using LI11N, it is giving me Storage location missing or incorrect. How do we solve this?
If you have other suggestion on how to correct the quantity in WH1, please let me know. Thank you.

Could you please perform the below steps?
1) Transaction SE51
Program SAPML03T, Screen number 0101 -> Element list -> Change
2) Select Tabstrip 'Special attr.', position the cursor on field LTAP-LGORT
and mark 'SET' parameter' and 'GET parameter'. Finally generate the screen.
Check this settings in your system and re-test.

How to update storage location & batch split on delivery items?

Any idea how to perform the following using a BAPI or function call with regards to updating a Delivery (VL02/VL02N)?
1) Enter or update a storage location on a delivery item?
2) Batch split a delivery item to give multiple batch numbers. For example if delivery item is '101' then after batch split additional delivery items with batch number assigned will appear as '900001', '900002', '900003', etc Entering a single batch number is straight forward and can be done using WS_DELIVERY_UPDATE/_2
Do not wish to use BDC or call transaction. Any help appreciated.

im doing BDC for VL01N transaction.. how can i pass multiple storage locations for picking quantity.. my requirement is if the material is not there in the specified storage location it should search in the other storage locations for delivery.
how can i solve this issue bcoz in the VL01N screen i can pass only one storage location.
this is urgent requirement..

Automatic storage location determination based on delivery document type

Dear All,
How can automatic storage location will be determined based on sales order type or delivery type.
Ex: If the business sells the material storage location automatically determined as SL12.
If the customer returnns the material storage location should be SL01.
Please suggest for retun process automatic storage location determination.

Fine, but we have some picking rules are MALA, RETA and MARE.
Currently we have onle on plant 1010 and shipping point 1010.
storage location for outbound deliveries determined based on MALA rule has been assigned to LF.
can we use RETA or MARE to determine the storage location for returns delivery. If yes kindly
explain. And where is storage condtion available in sap.

Storage location missing in purchase order

Hi all, I'm struggling to find why the storage location is not copied from purchase requisition to purchase order using ME21n.
Further this happens only for one buyer, the same PR's if converted in PO by other buyers, move correctly storage locations to PO.
Only for one buyer the storage location comes up blank and he has to populate manually the field.
I've checked his SAP profile and it's perfectly the same of all other buyers. Also he hasn't any particular personal settings in his ME21n.
Apparently there aren't reason why it should happen but it does.
Also searching on the web I haven't found any documentation or any other SAPer with the same issue
Can someone give me some suggestion?

There are 3 reasons for this issue...
1. Authorization
You have said that, all authorizations are same for this buyer compare with other.
2. Personal settings in me21n.
You have also said that there are no issues with the personal settings..
3. User parameter..
Check user parameter from su01 tcode. Is it showing same as other users..
Also check again the personal settings, is there tick the option "Always propose" for storage location in me21n..

Loading weight information is missing in Inbound Delivery

I have a problem in one of my inbound delivery where I canu2019t able to view the loading weight information. (Ie, loading weight field is blank).
Can any body tell me what has gone wrong and how to rectify the same?

MF60 - Replenishment storage location missing !! help

Hello friends,
I am running pull list in t-mf60 , when I execute the data in automatic mode in global setting, the Replenishment storage location is coming blank for all material codes even some material have stock in main store location . Also I have assigned main store location in SPRO.

Generally replenishment Storage location field will be seen with filled values if Warehouse Management is
actived and in the other normal cases we have to fill the repl.storage location manually before staging the
materials.

UD for a Material in HU-Storage location

Hi Gurus,
I have situation where Stock posting tab is not coming while doing the UD for a material
Process flow is below:
1. Creation/Release of Process - Inspection lot get created since early lot creation status REL CALC
2. GR of Process Order is done in MIGO in Hu storage location
3. Inbound Delivery is created (WM integration)
4. Inbound Delivery is processed with TR creation/Confirmation
5. Stock can be seen in Q under HU active storage location & Material document is created in IM . Inspection lot status is same
6. Result recording is done against Lot Status INSP RREC
7. While doing UD. Tab for Stock posting is missing. Status UD ICCO CLAS STUP
This inspection type has following settings: - tick post to insp stock, Insp with task list , early lot creation , auto UD etc
Not sure what I am missing some settings since that is HU storage location

I tested as per suggestion but that is also not working basically no inspection lot is getting created for the GR after completion of WM transaction
I have tested my senerio for non-HU storage location (doing GR in no-HU storage location ) & that works correctly . After UD i was able to see tab for stock posting & stock get posted successfully
I think need expert advice who has work on QM-WM integration part ... can we able to post the stock from Quality stock from HU storage location to unrestricted use using only IM transaction ( QA11/12 ) or do i need to perform some additional steps in WM ?

How to get inbound delivery number according to materail document number

Our business scenario:
1) ME21N, to create NB purchasing document
2) VL31N, to create inbound delivery based on NB purchasing document
3) MIGO, to receive the material to storage location based on inbound delivery, then materail document number will be generaated.
My question is that how shall I find the original inbound delivery based on the materail document number? Thanks very much.

   Yes, you can find inbound delivery in confirmation tab, and GR material document in PO history, but still can not find the matching relattionship between inbound delivery and GR material document.
For example
PO             inbound delivery/qty     GR material document/qty
450000690      6900001/100             5000001/40
                      6900001/100             5000004/60
                      6900003/80               5000008/70
this is my simulation for the matching relattionship between inbound delivery and GR material document.
in fact, this will be more complex in real world, my question is to get the original inbound delivery based on the GR materail document number.

Storage location entry in ASN is not reflected in MD04 screen

Hi Gurus,
We are using scheduling agreements with confirmations (ASN) . For some business reason we change the storage in inbound delivery created against the SA . However change effect of storage location is not reflected in MD04 .
In MD04 screen storage location is getting defaulted from the scheduling agreement .
Why the system is not considering the storage location from the inbound delivery ?

Indeed it will appear in MD04 if you change in SA. However I don`t want do that , in certain cases only I want change at IBD level which should reflect in MD04. Is there a way to achieve this ?

Inbound Delivery for Subcontracting Stock

Hello Experts,
I have some material supplied to the subcontractor via outbound delivery and material document is posted through 543 mvt type. Now, there are some quantity which is left during the subcontracting process and I want this material back to our unrestricted stock using INBOUND DELIVERY. (I can do it using MB04 without inbound delivery). Any suggestion?

Storage location-determination of return-deliveries (delivery type RL)

Is there a difference between picking storage location-determination of return-deliveries (delivery type u201CRL Returns (pur.ord.)u201D/return to vendor) on 4.6C compared to ECC6.0? Is there a SAP-note?
Within 4.6C-system the storage location is determined based on the customizing settings (Logistics Execution \ Shipping \ Picking \ Determine Picking Location \Assign Picking Locations).
Within ECC6.0-system the storage location in the return-delivery is always the storage location that is entered in the Return-Purchase Order. It seems like the customizing-settings are no longer beeing taken into account.

This storace location-determination of return-deliveries (delivery type RL) in customozing that you mention is only true within the 4.6C-system. Within the ECC6.0-system the storage lcoation is always the one that is entered in the return-purchase order. In ECC6.0 the customizing settings you are refering to a no longer valid for deliveries with delivery type RL.
The questions is why/ and is there an OSS note.

Update Storage Location in Delivery during Picking

Frequently the third party application changes and sends a new storage location for a given delivery. The requirement is to update storage location in delivery while doing picking.

Use BAPI 'BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CHANGE'. There is a parameter ITEM_DATA_SPL where you can put the storage location in.

How to change the storage location while create delivery?

I have to question to trouble you,when I create a delivery with reference to a sales order,however every time it set storage location 'FG10' to the delivery automatically.I can modify it, but how to modify this default value?the sales order haven't information about storage location.

Please try this:
In SPRO, go to Logistics Execution - Shipping - Picking- Determine Picking location - assign picking locations
here, for the reqmt plant and shipping point and storage conditions, define the applicable storage location. If you are not assigning any storage conditions in you material master, you may leave it blank. Storage conditions can be defined in the Material master in General Plant Data / Storage view.
After maintaining this, try creating a delivery and see if the delivery gets created in the required storage location.
