Storage questions on adobe for android

How do I get downloaded pdf's from internal storage to my ext. sd card? Also why do some of them go to the ext. sd and some don't, all of them were "downloaded".

For the first question: If you want to save a file in a different folder in Adobe Reader for Android, you can go tap on the 'Documents' tab. On the top toolbar, you will see an 'Edit' option. Tap on it and select the file(s) you want to move. Now, on the top toolbar, you would see an icon which looks like a folder with an arrow. Tap on this and now you can enter the desired location where you want to save this file.
As for the second question, that seems to be the behaviour of the OS. The download location is sometimes affected by the method of download i.e. whether the file was downloaded from a web browser or an email client.

Is it posible to get a free method to rotate documents in Adobe for Android? I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab2 tablet

There is no free tool available to rotate documents. To rotate documents with Adobe Acrobat DC, you will need an Acrobat Pro DC subscription. The subscription entitles you for Organize pages tool on Android, Organize pages and Edit PDF tool on iOS as well as the Acrobat PRo DC software on desktop and web alongwith the all the individual services.
    Thanks.

  • Is there an offical app from Adobe for Android that can access the Creative Cloud files?

I have found one app but it was not made by adobe and was not recomended by any reviews. Is there an official app for the Creative Cloud?

First, to answer your initial question - no there is no way to access the clipboard content outside of the apps at this time.
The idea of exporting a timelapse is very interesting, and something we have been thinking about, but there are already some decent ways to do this. Check out this video of a drawing in Line created by Brian Yap Adobe Ink and Adobe Line Illustration - YouTube
You can create this kind of video using several of the available apps that let you display your iPad screen on your computer using Airple. Some examples are Reflector http://www.airsquirrels.com/reflector/ and AirServer http://www.airserver.com/

  • I want my Adobe for Android back!n I went to view something, it magically updated for me.

My phone automatically updated to this new DC version when I downloaded something. I don't have a Viewer button like they show. I don't want Cloud storage. I had all my folders nicely organized, and now they are all gone.  Can someone tell me how to get back my folders and my AR8?

Could you please follow the steps mentioned at How to open PDFs on Adobe Acrobat DC on Android and let us know if it helps you?

  • How to divide and load parts of Large Adobe AIR app for Android

    Hi!
I want to create an app for Android but it will quite large. It will be larger than the 50MB offered by Google Play Store. This means that I need to find a way and break the app and load parts of it when I need them. Imagine it like minigames inside a bigger app.
It is not clear to me how to achieve this since every time on AIR, I can export and APK file for a mini-game let's say. Can I later download APKs and integrate them into my main app? How would this be possible? Another question that I have is: In order for a SWF to play on my app, it needs to be built by AIR for Android?
The best case would be to download content from In-App purchases and integrate in my app.
But these things are not so clear.
Thanks in advance for your help and support.

I don't know how your application is structured, but if you can split sections off into separate SWFs(plain AS3 document) then you could host those section SWFs online and require the user to download them on first run.
You could use the FileReference object to download the SWFs, save them to the File.applicationStorageDirectory, and then display/load them up with the Loader object when needed from the app storage directory. You would possibly need to check to see if the files are present at every boot of the app though as a user could "Clear Data" or "Clear Cache" of the app in the Settings of their device and one or both of those could/would delete the downloaded files.

  • Numerous problems with the Adobe AIR runtime for Android

I created a app on the platform Adobe AIR for Android, which requires for AIR. The app is very popular in the Android Market, but many users complain of problems with the installation of Adobe Air runtime.
For example these phones users: LGE LG-P698, LG Pecan, HTC Wildfire. But judging by the fact that users have access to the installation of Air, their phones are compatible with it.
Tell me how do I solve the problem?
In addition, I have a few questions:
    1. Decides whether the problem of export application with embedded AIR runtime?
    2. I build my apps with the help of ADT. How in this case to make embeding AIR runtime?
    3. Is it possible to prompt the user to download and install older versions of AIR? Where to find its?
I hope to help, because the problem is global.

    Hi Astraport,

  • Adobe Viewer for Android Phone

    Hi guys,
The Adobe Content Viewer from Google Play (May 1, 2013) is both compatible and works fine on my Nexus 4 phone. We understand that adding the Android phone compatibility might cause poor app rating as the buttons/controls will be hard to tap on the smaller screens. But publisher could add these limitations to the app description. So my question is if support for Android phones could be added to the custom viewer as an optional feature checkbox, please.
    Thank you,
    Gennady

    Hi Gennady,
You won't see support for Android phones until we have our new, native Android, viewer available later this year.

  • Acrobat for Android - License question

We are going to use acrobat on some Android devices connected only to corporate network (no Internet connection) and each device is going to be used by many users.
I have downloaded the APK file from Adobe, and published this as test to the devices using Mobile Device Management. We contacted Adobe support if this was OK license vice, but was asked to post the question here as they did not support the mobile versions...

What? Acrobat for Android, I don't think so.
There is an Adobe Reader for mobile devices only you can download for free.

  • Can you play/view swf files on adobe air for android?

Hi, yes; I'm new here, as well as to Adobe Air, and I'm still trying to learn the ropes around here, and I apologize in advance if this has already been asked, or I have placed this question in the wrong forum.
The thing is, I was wondering if it was possible to play my SWF files via adobe air for android; and if so, how? Thanks in advance either way.

Can you please give directions where can i clear that cash.
Anyway i don`t think its the case, because this is first time i hooked phone to internet, and first time i launched Android app store.
    Edit:
I went to https://market.android.com and there is Adobe air app. But when i try to download it says that my device doesn't support it (Samsung Galaxy GT-I5500) By default it comes with android 2.1 and doesn't support Adobe air, but i upgraded firmware to 2.2.
Maybe that is the reason it doesn't show me Adobe AIR in app store - based on my phone, not my Android version ?

  • Why is there no Adobe Shape CC for Android?

Android is the majority of the smart phone market share. Why is there no Adobe Shape CC for Android? Is the app for Android in development?

It's pathetic that Adobe has not to my knowledge stepped forward to even address this for those of us paying.  I firmly believe Android users should receive $10 off minimum their subscription price since we don't have full access to the service.  People have been begging for over a year now to have the Apple Apps converted and used for Android systems.. Especially since Android as so many have pointed out, is the majority of the market.  Adobe is dropping the ball big time, and at least acknowledging that we have asked this question over and over and letting us know WHY, we might be a little more forgiving.  Why, why, WHY?!

mentioned roadmap in short: Before that Flash could do anything. From now one Flash will do only two things - games and video on demand. That's all folks. In the world where technology is worth as much as number of platforms on which it is deployable I can say, Flash is walking its Green Mile.

  • Integrate Adobe Air in app for Android

Hello! Please, answer to one my question.
Can I integrate Adobe Air in my app for Android? I want the user to not download Adobe Air from Google Play.
    Thanks.

I've never used anything other than Flash Builder for mobile... So, yes, cf my original answer!
When you select Export Release Build, it is on the first page of options. (I think ... This is from memory.) In any case, it is very visible. Just look at all the Android options when you package for release.
