Storage unit number

Hello,
I've activated storage unit management in my Warehouse, but i can't see storage unit number in the storage bin.
I've customized number range for the warehouse:
But i can't see it in the storage bin:
Could you please advise, what else i have to customize?

I've made necessary cust. settings berofe posting goods receipt with storage units:

Storage unit number length

Hello friends,
I'm about to activating handling unit management for a newly cutsomized warehouse. hu numbers are 20 characters.
except this new one, all other warehouses defined in the client are storage unit managed and storage unit number length was set to 10.
so this is being a problem, when I packaged the stock in hu02. I need to change su number length from 10 to 20 but system says "this will cause serious result"..
Is anybody experienced this before? what is the possible result? or what kind of problems happens in my warehouses?
I d be glad if someone shares his/her ideas/experiences with me.

Exit to confirm transfer order with a storage unit number

hi guys,
I want to confirm transfer order with a storage unit number from LT06 transaction, somebody know a user exit? .. actuallly i am using MWMTO004 (EXIT_SAPLL03A_005) but it doesn´t confirm the transfer order, How can i solve it? give me suggestions.

Automatic determination of storage unit number while putaway

Hi all,
In my system while creating TO either i require to enter SU number by viewing MMBE/LS26
or Have to create the new storage Unit number (i.e. assighning the new number).
Is here any provision to automatically determine new storage unit number & which setting its require.

Number range once implemented then applicable to all storgae types. Please check SUT tick is active in storage type.
Check all relevant things of SU .Previously there was on thread on this subject in forum. Please check the same.

yes you can, the solution depends on which printer do you have, if you want to print on laser or label printer.

Set storage unit number (SU)

Dear all,
I have a business scenario that barcode label is printed before goods receipt from production. The phyiscal cartons from production will be placed onto the pallet. Once the pallet label is full, the barcode code label is printed and scanned for confirmation of process order, and then following by goods receipt.
Since, I am using WM in particular Decentralized WMS, the system will generated TO automatically upon GR. As you know, storage unit number will be generated during TO creation. As we want to capture the barcode pallet label in the SAP system as our SU number. I wonder there is any user exits or other things that allow for setting the SU number from the barcode label number.
Ideas?

Destination storage unit number on LT03

Hi friends,
When we create a transfer order, we need to fill "Destination storage unit number" (LTAP-NLENR), with a value from delivery (we manage the "Destination storage unit number" with external number range).
Have you any information how to do this?

I had the following response from SAP Service:
Unfortunately, the documentation of Enhancement MWMTO01 in SMOD clearly
says:
The user exit in the program is function module EXIT_SAPLL03T_001. In
order to be able to use the user exit, you must create Include ZXLTOU01
and activate the enhancement with transaction CMOD. As parameters, you
can use the TO header (import parameter I_LTAK_VB) and the items (table
parameter T_LTAP_VB). All database changes due to the transfer order
have already been performed. The transfer order is created.
With this user exit, you can update your own tables or trigger follow-upactions. Although changes made to table T_LTAP_VB do not have any
effect, they should still not be made.
Customer enhancement MWMTO003 is available for customer-specific stock
placement strategies though you should check carefully whether it meets
your exact needs. The enhancement is documented in transaction SMOD.
This could be used to determine specific SUs into which addition to
stock should take place but if you want to assign NEW SU numbers during
putaway then this is not possible in the standard.

Warehouse storage unit number by userexit

Hi
The requiremnet is to get the storage unit number from the user exit not from the internalnumber range set in configuarion. The function module used here is CONVERSION_EXIT_LENUM_OUTPUT.And we set the the value 3 in sunmber conversion(omnn transaction).Hope if we set the value to 3 then it will call the function module and the number we set in the userexit will trigger.
Now we are getting the number as mentioned in the userexit in transaction LT01. But it gives the number in display mode(lt21) also and gets appearing in the past transferorders in the table.If any prerequistion required the please let us know.
Anybodyhave the experience in this please helpus.

Can the storage unit number be configured to accpet external format?
My user wanted to key in the carton number when placing it onto the pallet.
It is meant to keep all slow moving item into a single carton for storage.

trigger in transfer order.

Hi ,
follow the below Process to Activate SU
First make your warehouse SUM active. Set your individual st types as SUM active and SUT check active
Active SUM for the storage types where material is to be putaway as well as removal, Storage unit configuration in LE -WM-Storage units- for master data. Maintain these storage types in storage type search to find the bins for putway & picking.
When you post GR in IM and the System will create the Transfer requirement .
Using The TR to converting into TO creating to the destination Storage unit bin.

If you have activated SU management for a storage type then entering a SU number (or generating one) is mandatory for any Transfer Orders placing stock in this storage type.
For any other storage type where SU management is not active, you cannot enter SU number at all.

Storage unit number in RF

Hi all, I`m using the cycle counting transactions from the std RF functionality. I was wondering if ther is any way to have the system automatically determine the storage unit number that is in the storage bin. Since I am handling fixed bins for packing, once that the stock enters to this bin, we open the pallet and lose the pallet label. This will make very hard for the operator to enter the storage unit number when it is asked in transaction LM58, LM60, etc..

Hi,
Check the data in the Transfer Order, the item (such as the quant number, storage bin or storage type) does not belong to the storage unit number that you entered.

Storage unit number wise UD posting

Hi All,
Can we do QM-UD posting storage unit wise.
for eg :- If we have Handling Unit(HU), then we can have UD for individual HUs numbers.
Similarly Can I have UD posting Storage Unit wise i.e. for individual SU Number??.
