Store connection issues after upgrading to newest iTunes version
When I upgraded to the newest version of iTunes, I cannot connect to the iTunes store. My internet connection is fine. Has anyone had this problem?

PC/Itunes doesn't recognize IPOD after upgrade to newest Itunes version
Last night I tried to connect my ipod to my new(ish) laptop for the first time. The last time I used Itunes was 03/06. I downloaded Itunes from the website. Installed it. Plugged in my IPOD and it WAS recognized by Itunes and PC. An update automatically came up so I downloaded that and installed it. It said I had to uplug the IPOD from the PC and plug it into the charger to update and install. Did that. Now my PC and Itunes does not see the IPOD. I have literally done EVERY troubleshooting step on the discussions groups and website.

Connection issues after upgrade to Mountain Lion
Very strange internet connection problem here after upgrade to Mountain Lion.
I just upgraded MacBook (early 2009) to Mountain Lion. After upgrade, I'm having problems connecting to certain websites (ESPN, CNN, etc.), and I can't connect to the computer using LogMeIn.
BUT, I do have an internet connection. Skype works, Messages works, email works, some websites work. I tested using speedtest.net and it shows good download speed, but the upload speed is so slow that it can't even perform the test. A Windows PC on the same network works fine.
Next, I tested the MacBook on another wi-fi network at a coffee house, and everything works fine there!
So it might appear to be something wrong with the router? I have an Cisco (Linksys) E3200 and have upgraded to the latest firmware (1.0.4). But still doesn't work.
The firewall in Mountain Lion is turned off, and I temporarily turned off the firewall on the router and that didn't help, so doesn't appear to be any sort of firewall issue. I've never heard of an operating system being incompatible with a specific router anyway.
Can anyone thing of any setting or something in Mountain Lion that would causing internet connection problems with a specific router?I don't know if this will 'fix' your problem, but have you tried the 10.8.5 Supplemental Update -> http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1686?

After upgrading to Yosemite, I lose my connect in SOAS, university of London. Overtime, it rejects me as Authentication fails in this network. Even the school technicianer cannot fix. I wonder how to downgrade or any solution? I never encounter this issue with Mavericks or the one before.
I also have the internet diagnostic report, but it is nonsense to me to read it.

WIFI intermittent connectivity issues after upgrading to iOS 8.0.2

WIFI seems to be dropping a lot after upgrading to iOS 8.0.2. I even took the iPad back to Apple and they replaced it with a new one with iOS7, which was working fine, then the same problem resurfaced after upgrading to iOS 8.0.2. I can't use my iPad in the evening at all.
My iPhone is fine after the upgrade though.
Clearly an iOS8 software issuse on iPads?
ThanksSimilar thing happened to me.. Seems like the bug has not been solved.. I managed to restore to iOS 8 and this resolved the issue, at least for the time-being!
Apple team, my sincere request to you:Please attend this bug asap. It really dissolves the purpose of an iPhone..

Wireless network connectivity issues after upgrading to Snow Leopard
After upgrading to Snow Leopard (10.6.4) I find that my wireless network will not automatically connect to my router (Netgear DG834G) as it used to. First impressions are that the macbook is finding a number of wireless networks but wants to connect to the one that is alphabetically first in the list. It also seems that the signal that the airport is receiving is weak, even when the macbook is next to the router.
Has anyone experienced this when they upgraded?

Nickbut a couple that I used with no problem before I upgraded now give me a "server not found" error after I enter my login and password.
Quit Safari. Open Keychain Access /Applications/Utilities. Select Passwords on the left.
Delete the keychains for the sites you have problems logging into AND the Safari Forms Autofill keychain. Now from the menu bar click Keychain Access / Keychain First Aid. Select: Verify. If necessary, select: Repair. You will be prompted for your admin password. Click Start.
Relaunch Safari. Navigate to a site. Login with your user name and password. That will create a new keychain for you.
If you still have problems accessing sites, go to Safari / Preferences then select the Security tab. Click: Show Cookies. Delete all cookies or just the one's for the problematic sites. Now try logging into a site again.
Even though you upgraded to v10.6.7 make sure Safari is up to date. From the menu bar click Safari / About Safari. If it's a version prior to 5.0.5, click your Apple menu (top left in your screen) then click: Software Update...
And check Safari / Preferences - Extensions. Something there may be preventing you from accessing secure sites. If you have any extensions installed, turn that off, quit then relaunch Safari to test. -
I have a ReadyNas NV+ which I use as NAS storage. I make a lot of home movies in iMovie 11 (mostly family movies of my daughter growing up) which fills up my local HDD fairly quickly. I setup iMovie 11 when I was using Snow Leopard to connect to my NAS as an additional disk in the event library and project. I would move events and projects after I finalized and shared them to the NAS disk in iMovie so it would both clear up space on my local HDD but still be available in the iMovie 11 application.
After I upgraded to Lion, I can no longer see the NAS disk in either the project library or event library. I'm concerned if I have created a condition where I won't be able to access the projects and events which I moved to the NAS disk when I upgraded to Lion. Has anyone else experienced this issue and has anyone else found a solution to this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.Did that work for you? I was looking at that too, but was discouraged by having to use a sparsebundle given Snow Leopard had such great NAS support.
FYI to everyone else, I upgraded my ReadyNAS firmware to 4.1.8. NetGear indicated the following updates with the nre firmware, but it didn't fix this problem:
New features and enhancements
1. Added support for Mac OS X 10.7 “Lion”.
2. Added warning when NFS access to home shares is enabled.
3. Added a redirect for http://<host>/ip to https.
4. Added enhancements to advanced AFP permission settings.
5. Provide download links for exported users and groups instead of asking for email.

Bug fixes
1. Fixed javascript error in FrontView.
2. Delay auto power-off if backup jobs are still queued.
Limitations

But apparantly, after the Lion update, fewer people reported success with it. Still looking though... If anyone else has more symptoms to add, please let me know. I might try to use a sniffer program and see if I can pull a packet capture. That might reveal some info....
On another note, has anyone had any problems connecting to their Time Capsule in the same fashion? I had an idea of connecting a USB Raid Array to it and connecting through the TC, but wanted to know if anyone had any thoughts or experience with that.... Thanks. -

Will that even help?Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)

I have a desktop mac operating on Mac OSx 10.4.11 and the system does not recognize my iphone and I am unable to upgrade to the newest itunes version. What do I need to do?
Backup first
It is always best to have a full bootable backup before you upgrade. If you fail to do this you will be unable to return to this OS if you decide you don't like the new OS. Also there is a slight chance that an install could lose everything on the Mac. The backup must be to an external hard disk. Preferably use Carbon Copy Cloner to make a bootable backup of the whole disk.
Erase before the install
Once you have a bootable backup on an external disk it is best to erase the internal disk with the new installer DVD before you install.
During the install
Preferably do not import any data or preferences from earlier OSs during the install process as this can reintroduce bugs.

Those wishing to upgrade to Leopard should be aware that install disks can be expensive unless you contact Apple. OSs beyond OS X 10.5.8 require an Intel processor. If in doubt check this: Click the apple at the top left of your screen and select 'About this Mac'. This will give you your OS number. Then click 'More Info' to see which processor you have. If it says PowerPC you cannot upgrade to Snow Leopard and above. I am facing wifi and mobile 2G signal issue after upgrading to IOS 6 from IOS 5 in IPhone 3GS. The mobile carrier signal as well as WIFI suddenly drops zero and are then restored automatically. Sometimes i cannot conenct to WIFI even standing infront of WIFI router. Please help, restoring setting even didn't helped.
Update: my phone's connecting to the WiFi again. I don't know what did the trick. I did nothing since reinstalling the software. It hadn't worked then, it is now. I tried connecting to my dad's phone's hotspot( he uses a Moto G), and it worked. I then tried connecting to the WiFi at a friend's house, and when I came back home, my phone was able to connect to my WiFi! Is it of any significance that my friend's router doesn't require a password? My issue has been resolved( for now; I hope I'm not counting my chickens before they've hatched). For anyone facing a similar issue, I suggest you try everything I did:
1. Turn your router off for a minimum of 30 seconds, turn it back on and try connecting.
2. Click on the WiFi network you are connected to, scroll to the bottom, tap "Renew Lease".
3. Do a soft and hard reset.
4. Reset network settings.
5. Back your data up, erase all content from settings menu, restore from backup.
6. Reinstall your software( put it in recovery mode).
I am not sure which of the above worked for me. Make sure you try everything. If none of the above works, take it to a genius bar or an authorised service provider. Good luck! :) -
Issues after Upgrade from Oracle 10.1.0.5 to 10.2.0.5 in Windows Server2003

I have run in to some issues after upgrading my 10.1.0.5 database to 10.2.0.5. Initially after the firtst upgrade from 10.1.0.5 to 10.2.0.0 one has to run Critical Patch set 4 to get to 10.2.0.5. Well after initial up grade everything worked fine. I could connect to the database from within the server as well as remotely through SQL*PLUS client. However, after completeing the patch I'm still able to connect to the database from within the server, but remotely i get the following error:
ORA-12514 : TNS Listener does not currently know of service requested in connect descriptor.
I also get Error ORA-12505: TNS:listener does not currently know of SID given in connect descriptor The Connection descriptor used by the client was: (description=(address=(host=mcquery2)(protocol=tcp)(port=1521))(connect_data=(sid=mcquery)(server=dedicated)))
I've tried serval different things to trouble shoot the issue but nothing seems to work.
If anyone has run into s similar issue please help. This is ruining my weekend! LOL!

This query is working fine when executed in 4.7 system where as it is running for more time in ECC6.0.

I have checked with the table indexes, they were same as in 4.7 system.
What can be the reson for the difference in execution time. How can this be reduced without adjusting the select query.

ohhhhh....... lots of problems in select query......this is not the way you should write it.
Some generic comments:
1. never use SELECT
endselect.
SELECT
into table
for all entries in table
where.
use perform statment after this selection.
2. Do not use into corresponding fields. use exact structure type.
3. use proper sequence of fields in the where condition so that it helps table go according to indexes.
e.g in your case
sequence should be
LEDNR
OBJNR
GJAHR
WRTTP
VERSN
KSTAR
HRKFT
VRGNG
VBUND
PARGB
BEKNZ
TWAER
PERBL
sequence should be same as defined in table.
Always keep select query as simple as possible and perform all other calculations etc. afterwords.
