Trying to install this drive but message says it has not passed windows logo testing to verify XP compatibility.

From my knowledge this error appears to prevent errors with Windows and hardware related software that is installed. Mostly its indication that the software or driver or one of the files is not signed for the version of Windows you are using in your case Win XP.
The Windows system perform signature detection whenever an INF file is used to install hardware from a designated device class. You can simply Continue Anyway button to complete the installation of the software
For the future you can disable such kind of message.
1. Open System in Control Panel.
2. On the Hardware tab, click Driver Signing.
3. Under File Signature Verification, click Ignore, Warn or Block
Click Ignore to allow all device drivers to be installed on this computer, regardless of whether they have a digital signature.

To Remove plug-in
1.) Open the SplashID desktop app
2.) Navigate from Menu bar "File" -> "Plugin for Safari" -> "Uninstall".
I could not find it in either Library/Internet Plug-ins nor ~/Library/Internet Plug-ins as others have suggested.

Is the store that you bought the card from nearby so that you can try going back and asking if they can activate the card properly ? If it's not, or if they can't/won't activate, then you will need to do as the message says and contact iTunes Support (these are user-to-user forums) : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then iTunes Cards And Codes (you will probably need to give them images of the front and back of the card, and possibly its receipt)

Just to make sure, open Mac App Store and click Purchases. Can you pause the download and restart it?

This is information you you have created an apple id.
To use this apple id for the itunes store, you have to agree to the terms and conditions and enter in the requested information before you can use the store.
When you create an apple id it does not mean you gain access to all apples features, you would need to create a :-
Itunes id
Facetime id
Game centre id
imessage id
icloud id
You can use the same email address as each login. but until you agree to each terms and conditions you wont be able to access the services.
This is usually done the first time you access each service and sign in with your apple id.
As to iTunes you need a little extra as they will request to confirm details as to address, etc, with the payment information they can confirm you are actually in that country you are trying to purchase from.
Once you have added the credit card details, you can go back in a set payment method to none and remove the credit card details once you have activated the itunes on your apple id.
Basically this message you are getting is just ADDING the feature of iTunes store to your apple id, and confirms you have not got a iTunes id yet.

Yeah, I am going to blast my iPhone for the 4th time today and pray this goes away. I had 6 apps showing updates, the 6 badge icon shows on the App Store on my iPhone and, having run them all, the 6 apps have two copies each on my iPhone: one that is the old version of the app and will not run and the other is a faded version of the app with an empty progress bar on the icon. Click those and you get an error message about connecting to iTunes, etc. as described in the article I linked to above.
It gets stranger than this. If I install a completely NEW app, the 6 that are stuck mid-update heal themselves and appear with the new version only, however now completely different apps (Hold Em for instance - which I did not update and didn't need an update) will not launch "app name Cannot Launch" message comes up.

Is it using a local interface and NOT a remote interface? I found that local interfaces
were not found even though they appear in the list of EJB jndi names.

In the past I was able to bypass the message by editing the Info.plist file and updating the MaxBundleVersion variable, but not so this time around. As of today the developer seems to indicate there's no immediate fix becuase of how Safari 5.1 handles multiprocess page rendering. Probably best to stay tuned to Mike's website for now.

My apple id registration is not yet complete, when I try to complete the registration it asks for payment option, I don't find any skip option in the process. Even if I enter my payment details it pops up that " payment option has been declined". can anyone help me with the possible solution to the problem. Please also suggest a way if i do not want to enter my payment details while completing my Apple ID registration.

Yes, the store didn't properly activate the card. Uninstall SIMBL as follows. Back up all data before making any changes.

Is this a new Apple iD? If it is, and you have already set it up, then you have two options:
1. Temporarily put a Credit Card or Gift Card on the account to download the free app. If you put a credit card, then once you have downloaded the app, you should be able to go into your Account preferences and change the payment option to = None.
2. You can download the fee App, and then set up a new Apple ID.
