Store employees and Managers cant make up their minds

Question

In best buy yesterday looking to buy a console and a few games.  I asked an employee if they were matching the target buy two get one free deal on all video games, to which he replied, i think so, let me ask my manager.  Comes back with manager in toe and confirmed yes they were.  I was also in the store the day before and asked another manager to which he replied, "yes we will be"
I get my system and games and head over to the counter, the cashier then asks a different manager and he said NO.  I mentioned two other managers and an employee said yes and he should match it and he then declined.  I left the store and took my business elsewhere.

In truth, while we're able to match the price of most products at local retailer competitors and those shipped from and sold by designated online retailers, Best Buy does not match free items or bundle offers. This regrettably includes "Buy 2, Get 1" offers and any other promotional price that's contingent on the purchase of another product (i.e., buy one product to receive a discount on another).
