Stored application and the ExtendedAppAttributes.isStartable() method

Hi,
According to MHP 1.1.3 sub-chapter 10.14.2 the application could be launched also when:
- not_launchable_from_broadcast is set to "1"
- is_launchable_with_older_version is set to "1"
- some older version of this application is stored (but not the current version)
So it seems that the ExtendedAppAttributes.isStartable() method shall return true in this case.
However the specification describing this method says nothing about the is_launchable_with_older_version flag. Instead of it says:
"+An Application is not startable if ... The application is signalled as not_launchable_from_broadcast and is not stored...+".
Does it mean that application is stored also when the is_launchable_with_older_version flag is set to "1" and any older version of this application is stored (but not the current version)? And the ExtendedAppAttributes.isStored() method shall return true in this case?
Or the ExtendedAppAttributes.isStartable() method has nothing common with the possibility of application launching? That is, even if it returns false the application may be launched/started by the terminal/another xlet.

Audit logs are stored in a hidden, dedicated arbitration mailbox. We can access them by using the ECP Auditing Reports page, the Search-AdminAuditLog or New-AdminAuditLogSearch cmdlet.

Make certain you are typing in the correct credit card number, selecting the correct expiration date from the pop up menus and are using the correct Security Code from the back of your credit card.

Assuming you have these accounts set up in Mail, open preferences and under Accounts tab, edit the SMTP outgoing server list. Do you have a .mac address in the list? If so, delete it.
Are you using iCloud?
For the troubled account, select the correct SMTP server for that account in the box and check the box to use only that server with that account.

Yes, you can print the response in a PDF by following the steps suggested below.
1) Go to the response file
2) Select the response you want to print
3) Click on Save as PDF button and it would save the selected response in PDF format.

Thanks Paul; but, taking your suggestion didn't solve the problem. As mail is part of the OS, the updates don't have the capacity to reinstall applications; so, I had to reinstall the OS. I now have my mail back (although it didn't appear on the dock--I had to go to applications and activate it and then put it back in the dock. Thanks again for trying.

I've had my farm upgraded from SP2010 to SP2013 for over 6 months now and all is well, however, I was refreshing my staging environment from production and I noticed that one of the databases still shows these errors when I run test-spcontentdatabase:
Category : Configuration
Error : False
UpgradeBlocking : False
Message : The [SharePoint Web App] web application is configured with claims authentication mode however the content database you are trying to attach is intended to be used against
a windows classic authentication mode.
Remedy : There is an inconsistency between the authentication mode of target web application and the source web application. Ensure that the authentication mode setting in upgraded web application is the
same as what you had in previous SharePoint 2010 web application. Refer to the link "http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=236865" for more information.
This doesn't make sense considering I converted the production web application to claims during the upgrade and then verified all sites were working with claims logins. I also verified that existing AD user identities were converted to claims by checking out
the database tables. Yet test-spcontentdatabase still thinks there is a mismatch here.
My farm is SP1 and no further CUs. The point of this particular refresh is so I can update to the November CUs in my test farm. Anyone else see this? Seems like it's a bug/safe to ignore because my stuff is working.

hi ! sorry if this has already been discussed but i wanted to know ~~~ how to install .exe applications and the java on my n9 ~~~ ... because i wanted to use plenty of other apps which are not supported but these 2 would help fix the issue

Thank you for your response, Chris. But I'm afraid I have to disagree. There are native 64 bit versions of iTunes available for OSX and Windows.
In a 64 Bit Windows environment native 64 Bit Applications install the DLL's in a directory called "Program Files" and a directory called "Program Files (x86)" (32 Bit applications only use the ladder).
iTunes 9 is consistent with this behavior - and it identified itself to the system as a 64 bit application (meaning it's process appears without a "*32" tag on it).

Storing Application on the SAP Backend

Where will the application that is uploaded to the SAP Web Console be stored be stored on the SAP R/3 also in addition to the SAP Web AS.

Hi Raja,
All files ,uploaded from the WebConsole corresponding to particular Component Types will be
stored there in the MI server itself.WebConsole itself is running in the J2EE stack of the WAS.
So the uploaded files are in the J2EE stack itself.
The main component types , we can create from the WebCosole are ,
1) ADDON
2) APPLICATION
3) FRAMEWORK
4) INSTALL_SEQUENCE
5) JVM
6) SSL
From these , we have to upload files to ADDON and APPLICATION component Types.
For viewing the details
Using the transaction mi_msd ,
1) just open ur particular MCD(ADDON or APPLICATION) in dispaly mode.
2) From the tabstrip , select the "Deployment" tab.
Here we can see the relative path details of files which are stored in the MI server corresponding to
that MCD(if and only if we uploaded).
For add-on
SETUPFILES WEBSERVER http://<server>:<port> server url
SETUPFILES LOCALPATH C:\<MCD>.zip path in the local machine from where the file is uploaded
SETUPFILES WEBPATH /me/pub/add-on/<version>_<MCD>.zip relative server path
For Application JSP
If the application is based
on JSP, the application archive is copied to <MI root>/webapps. The archive of an AWT application is
copied to <MI root>/libs.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.
