Is there any utility in 9i toautomatically create table hold all the elements defined in a DTD with relationship?

How is data stored in DSO and Infocube
InfoCubes are made up of a number of InfoObjects. All InfoObjects (characteristics and key figures) are available independent of the InfoCube. Characteristics refer to master data with their attributes and text descriptions.
An InfoCube consists of several InfoObjects and is structured according to the star schema. This means there is a (large) fact table that contains the key figures for the InfoCube, as well as several (smaller) dimension tables which surround it. The characteristics of the InfoCube are stored in these dimensions.
An InfoCube fact table only contains key figures, in contrast to a DataStore object, whose data part can also contain characteristics. The characteristics of an InfoCube are stored in its dimensions.
The dimensions and the fact table are linked to one another using abstract identification numbers (dimension IDs) which are contained in the key part of the particular database table. As a result, the key figures of the InfoCube relate to the characteristics of the dimension. The characteristics determine the granularity (the degree of detail) at which the key figures are stored in the InfoCube.
Characteristics that logically belong together (for example, district and area belong to the regional dimension) are grouped together in a dimension. By adhering to this design criterion, dimensions are to a large extent independent of each other, and dimension tables remain small with regards to data volume. This is beneficial in terms of performance. This InfoCube structure is optimized for data analysis.
The fact table and dimension tables are both relational database tables.
Characteristics refer to the master data with their attributes and text descriptions. All InfoObjects (characteristics with their master data as well as key figures) are available for all InfoCubes, unlike dimensions, which represent the specific organizational form of characteristics in one InfoCube.

Battery Recall & Stored Contacts Info

I am new to cell phones. I have had my first one
for several months, a Nokia model 1112.
The just-announced battery recall for the 1112 and
many other Nokia models brings up some questions:
1) Is there any reason why I would want to have the
info for my Contacts stored either: on the phone or on
the SIMS card? (The two options given to me by my phone.)
2) Is there some reason why I get a message stating:
Selected Memory Empty -- no matter whether I try to
change the Contacts from the Phone to the SIMS card or
vice-versa (from the SIMS card to the Phone)?
3) Will removing the battery to get the ID number from
it in order to put the number into the Battery Recall form
on the Nokia website result in my Contacts info being lost?
4) And finally, Nokia says only some batteries have
the overheating problem. Does anyone know anything
about this aspect of the recall?

1: The SIM card can only hold simple name-number pairs, and fewer contact records in total (usually 250 with today's SIM cards, I think). In phone memory you can have more contacts, and with more complex structure (postal addresses, business addresses, multiple numbers, web and email addresses, etc.).
2: I don't know. One or the other is presumably empty, or the phone has a software glitch if it thinks so incorrectly.
3: No. Contacts on SIM or in phone memory are stored in non-volatile storage (and an empty or removed battery will not have an effect).

Storing DTD or xml schema in DB

Is there a recommended best practice for using db tables to store constraints represented by a DTD or xml schema? I'm not looking to store a normal xml doc in the db, but rather something like the DTD that can be read and used to validate incoming documents. I'd also rather have this in a table somehow to handle changes to the DTD structure. Any advice much appreciated -

You are correct that there is no XML Schema for our configuration files.
One of the reasons is that custom adapters can configure any settings they need in their destinations. The other reason is that the server will not start if there is anything in the config XML that isn't read by the server on startup. This ensures that mis-spellings and invalid tags do not get ignored.
You are right however, we should create an xsd for them. I filed an enhancement request - #2726353.

Error Storing Authorization Info

When I try to listen to a song in iTunes it asks me to enter my password, although I am already signed into iTunes. When I type my password a box appears that says "There was an error storing your authorization information on this computer. ...there is a permissions error or the required directory was not found... deauthorize your computer if the permissions error cannot be changed." However, when I go to the Store tab and go down to Deauthorize Computer, it doesn't recognize my username and password. This also poses a problem because the store will not let me put my already purchased songs back onto my iPod. Anyone know what I need to do? I am using a Mac.

If you haven't been able to have yours work lately I tried something that worked. I went to this page:

Then I did the first part were I downloaded the newest version of iTunes and the newest version of Quicktime, then I deauthorized my computer and authorized it right afterwards and it worked.
So if you're still trying to find out the problem, you can try this and hopefully it'll work for you... I still have to see if it will play the iTune Store songs or not, but hopefully this helps! Good Day!

Populating A/R Invoice Fields With Stored SQL Info

Hello All --
I have heard that one option of getting freight charges, tracking info, other shipping data into our A/R Invoice of SAP B1 is to create a look-up in A/R Invoice that can retrieve data saved in SQL by World Ship.
Does doing something like this require the SDK package? If not, would doing this violate any service warranty offered by SAP?
Please advise.

You have asked this question a month ago.
As long as you follow SAP's tools like DTW, DI API or SDK, you will be covered without problem.
To be clear, I just copy the complete note text for you here:
SAP will not support any database, which is inconsistent, due to SQL-Queries, which modify datasets or the datastructure of the SAP Business One Database. This includes any update-, delete- or drop-statements executed via SQL-Server Tools or via the the query interface of SAP Business One.
This is stated in the support contract between SAP and the SAP Business Partner also.
"SAP will not provide support for any problem that arises because Partner or end customer has altered Software or SDK inappropriately " and "Nor will SAP provide any support services for problems that lie in Partner's or end customer's area of responsibility and result, for example, from inappropriate installation, unsatisfactory end-user training, lack of or incorrect business design, incorrect operation, or faulty hardware"
Where inconsistencies are found in a database as outlined above, SAP Business One Product Support will be unable to process the message further. In order to continue the support for this SAP Business One installation, it is expected to revert to a database backup where inappropriate changes have not been carried out.

Avoid storing config settings in repository

We do use a git repository for our worker role, we commit the entire solution to keep track of changes to ServiceConfiguration too.
We would like to avoid storing sensitive info in the repository and I wonder if something similar to WebSites App Settings in web portal is available for Cloud Service too.
I did try to set just the local value for my settings (ServiceConfiguration.Local.cscfg, leaving
ServiceConfiguration.Cloud.cscfg blank) and then set the correct value in web portal config tab for the worker role (so to have localhost in the cscfg files that goes into
the repository and the correct connection string just in the web portal). This work fine until we redeploy the role, doing so the settings in the web portal resets back to ServiceConfiguration.Cloud.cscfg
(blank, no values).
Not committing ServiceConfiguration.Cloud.cscfg
is not an option as we'd prefer not to have the real connection strings nor in the repository nor in our local PCs.
Any suggestions?

Where is stored the Folder label registry location?

When I put a red label on a File that has xmp metadata, I can retrieve these values later and this will be stored in the file or in a side-car xmp file.
But Folder can't have xmp.
In this case, where is stored this info about the color label of a Folder? Only in cache? Is there a hidden file ( like, for example ".Bridgesort" hidden file for manually sorted items)
I noticed that I I label a folder in a common accessed network from computer A, I can retrieve that value from another computer B by rebuilding the cache parent folder of the labeled folder.
It can't be the file C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Bridge CS6\Cache\data\store because it is inacessible from other computers on network.
So is must be some hidden file on the same directory of the labeled folder.

Its an hidden xml File created from Bridge when I use labels or ratings on children folders.
It is called ".BridgeLabelsAndRatings"
to get it from bridge, just try to use this

Log and Capture - where are the cuts and renames stored

I'm having a problem where I'm loosing the cuts and clip renames

Sorry about that (I'm new to FCP)
Log and transfer sequentially renames all of the clips when I point to the AVCHD directory on my mac (which I copied from the camera). It, unfortunatly, doesn't add any leading 0's, and it sorts alphabetically, so my clips are out of order (1, 10, 11, 12, 13...2, 20). The process that I have been following, in order to get them back into order, is to add leading 0's to make them the same length (eg Clip# 1 becomes Clip# 001...). This is a real pain and I would welcome suggestions on how to improve this process. I would be much happier if it used the start time of the clip (or even the sequential 5-digit clip number that comes off of the camera)
In 'Log and Transfer' I am setting in and out points on the clips. When I add them to the import batch the utility only brings in the video between the points.
My problem is that, on a few occations, I have gone through the hour or so that it takes to do this only to find that the changes are gone when I reloaded the project. Most of the time it works fine but, if I knew how / where it stored this info, I would be able to verify it and make sure that it's archived...

Owb - error tables giving error info- what war ethey called? - 11.2.0.3

In old 10g we could see various metadata tables storing error info.
Where are such tables in 11.2.0.3 assume under workspace owners schema?

They have the same names, just the owner is OWBSYS. You need to set workspace before querying them.

Where is HttpSession.setAttribute stored?

I have a jsp that keeps count and is storing the info in a HttpSession object using the setAttribute method(The code is at the bottom). How does the server know I am the same client is before? I am just using http which is stateless. I also don't see any cookies transferring the data back. If I close and reopen, my browser, the incrementing starts all over again. Thanks for helping me understand this better.

It's this way- if cookies are enabled on your browser, each time the browser requests a resource from the same webapp, the browser is sure to send the cookie back(if the server has put one). This won't be a persistent cookie i.e won't be stored on the disk in most cases. If you have proxy tool, yu can see that the browser submits a cookie by name JSESSIONID.
If cookies are not enabled, url writing willb e used.

You can use the table NAST for this. Key in the output type in the field KSCHL and KAPPL as 'EF'. You will get the PO No in the field OBJKY.

Wrong cost estimate due to info record SA reference field.

I have an issue during cost estimate.
When we create scheduling agreement for a Material/Vendor/Plant combination.
The info record in Purchase organisation - reference field updates with latest SA number.
Here. I had created the second Scheduling agreement and later i decide to delete the latest SA and use the previous one. But inforecord does not update with previous SA number.
As per configuration, the reference field is taken for cost estimate and it takes the latest SA number, which is wrong.
Can anyone guide me how to get the live SA number in the reference field in Info record?

The idea of SAP in case of retreiving information in case of PO/SA, is the last document number that is stored in the info record. Since you have just created the SA agreement, whose information is not stored in info record, you can simply update info record (select info update indcator) which is available in ME31L somewhere in Menu bar options (Sorry I dont know precisely). This could solve your problem I hope.
