Storing DW snippets in the cloud

Hi,
was sent here by the Adobe Dreamweaver management on Facebook. I lately wrote nearly the same posting here in October 2012 regarding the DW CS6 version. I still want to change to DW (CC this time) but can't because Adobe seems not to be able to make snippets storable in the cloud such as my Dropbox folder or any other given path.
Just for sure...is there any opportunity to do so in CC?
DW is absolutely unusable for workgroups or a multi workplace installation if there isn't.
By the way....it is a shame that Adobe did not implement this feature because other IDEs (especially Eclipse) provide it since years.

You may need to turn on hidden files/folders (if they're not turned on already) to see the Snippets on your desktop though.
EDIT: Changed the above to remove "I believe".
It does work as expected, I just tested by moving my snippets from CS4 to CC and all of them function correctly. As Nancy points out, it would be a simple process to save them to a thumbdrive (or simply email them to collaborators) to get them into their Snippets folders.

Storing Email files on the cloud (maybe dropbox)?

I use the apple email client, and it works reasonably well for my purposes. I like the fact that it is a local application, and can search through all of my old mail pretty quickly. My one beef is that I use a mac at work, a mac at my home office and when I travel, I have my macbook air. Anytime I change environments, I have to download all of my messages, and they appear that they haven't been dealt with. What I want is to have one place to deal with all of my email accounts that is consistent between any of my environments.
So, the obvious solution is to have a web-based mail client. However, that doesn't work when I'm not connected (like on a plane) and if I'm on a slow connection, I have the frustation of a slow mail experience.
The better choice would be to have all of my client files stored on my dropbox (not the mac dropbox, but the company dropbox.com). Dropbox could handle all of the syncing, yet I could still have the benefit of a local mail client.
Can this work? If not, any other ideas?

I am not familiar with this problem, but so that you might get good advice I suggest you give more detail.
You say "it's locked". What is locked? How do you know it is locked? What happens when you try to use it?
When you say "uninstall Adobe and the cloud" what do you mean by "Adobe" and "the cloud" in this case? What specific Adobe software are you using?

IPad worked perfectly last night, woke up this morning to "iPad Disabled". what does it mean and is everything i have on my iPad now GONE forever or can all docs., emails, photos, etc. be recovered from the Cloud?

Download songs from the cloud to my library

I stored my songs in the cloud from one computer to get them to another. Now these songs are stored in the library with an icloud status as "matched" and they cannot be played/moved/downloaded to anywhere else. How do I download them to my library so I can have access to them?
I've tried following instructions ie right click on a song and click download, but I don't have a download option when I right click??? WHAT IS THIS? WHAT IS LIFE!!!!

In I06, I have no way of knowing which songs are on my iphone 4s vs being stored in the cloud. There used to be a small cloud next to songs that were not downloaded. This was important to make sure I had the music I wanted when in an airplane.

You cannot import contacts from your Nano to your PC via iTunes. The syncing process is only one way. However, if you enable disk mode on your iPod, open it up in a Windows Explorer window, you should see a Contacts folder. From there you can copy them back over to your PC.
Even though this article is talking about adding contacts to the PC, it should walk you through some of the steps mentioned above.

How can i see what content is stored in the cloud?

I have a huge volume of content stored in the cloud...I don't know what it might be....I'd like to be able to see it and clean it up...it may be years of old mail or who knows. How can I see it and clean it up?

Do you have any iOS device? It has your Photo Stream files. Apple TV? Same answer.
A PC with the iCloud control panel? You can sign in and view your Photo Stream.
Another Mac with 10.7.2, or higher? It can sign into iCloud.
iPhoto 9.2, or higher on it? It has your Photo Stream files.

I can't access my TextEdit files stored in the cloud.I get the message that this document cannot be opened

Since you are running Lion, I've requested a moderator move your thread to the Lion forum. That way people with compatible browsers can tell you which ones they feel work best depending on your needs.
iPhoto has its own search facility that can be tagged by flags, names, or dates, or album name, or date imported. You can store its data online with Facebook, MobileMe, or Flickr, though Facebook usually limits the size of what may be uploaded, and you are best managing your originals on iPhoto itself. I'm not sure about MobileMe or Flickr, how well they can sort data, or handle larger originals. For that, you can probably ask in the MobileMe or iCloud forums, or a Flickr support website as needed.

Thanks for the reply.
I think you ave sorted my problem with your question. I thought that as my iTunes account was on their server (Cloud) and I had previously added CDs which showed up, that all my music was "on the cloud". I used to use Match but when I turned it off lost all my music that I had previously loaded onto my computer.
So I guess I have to use the cloud again to access my songs. This is frustrating as I fly a lot and can not use the music (Cloud based) when the phone is in flight mode as there is no internet.
So how then do I retrieve all my music to my iMac and have my laptop synced so they are the same?
I am totally confused now.

You can do it, but you need another library signed in to iTunes match. That second library shouldn't have any local files stored.
Delete the entry from that second library and it will ask you to confirm that you want to remove the file from the cloud. Confirm that you do.
Now, as long as you don't delete the file from your main library it will have an iCloud status of "removed" and won't be in the cloud or try add it again.
However, if you sign out of match on that computer and then sign in again it will then re-add it to the cloud, so this isn't a method to use if you tend to turn match on and off much.
I have had the Beatles Mono albums in my main library, but not in the cloud, for a while now without any problems.

Browsing iPhoto library (stored in the cloud) from iPhone

Dear Apple community geeks,
Can you please suggest the best solution for the below:
I have my iPhoto library stored in the cloud (CrashPlan) and a personal NAS (Synology).
I'd like to view pictures of this library from my iPhone without losing the library structure (Projects, Albums..).
So far, browsing via available apps, I'm only left with the classical "folder structure" of the iPhoto library (as if I'd "show package contents").
Any good option with my current set-up? If not, would (at least) iCloud make this possible?

I have taken off the unwanted apps from iTunes but they still show on my iPhone. Go to App Store > Updates > Purchased > and the unwanted Apps are under both "All" and "Not on this Iphone" tabs. There is a little cloud with a down arrow so I can redownlaod it to my phone but, I want to remove some all together. It is hard to scroll thru all of them to find Apps that you may use on special occasion. Can I get rid of the in this location on my phone? And if so, How? Thanks

Backing up your iPad won't change what is stored on your iPad, and you can't put TV programmes into the cloud - they will only show there whilst the TV company has them for sale in your country's store.
How did you download them onto you iPad e.g. via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app or syncing, or do you have videos in the cloud showing (Settings > iTunes & App Store > Videos 'on') and tapped on a cloud TV programme in the Videos app ? If the former then you should be able to delete them directly in the Videos app, either via the Edit button on the TV programme selection screen, or by selecting the series and swiping across the episode from right to left. If the latter then do they show in Settings > General > Usage > Videos (under the 'Storage' heading) ? If they do then you should be able to delete them by swiping across them from right to left.
