Storing Outgoing Documents for scriptform as PDF

We use archive parameter to transpot scriptform to PDF. We display Chineses characters in the script form. But when I opened form, the Chinese Characters do not display correctly. I try to preview the form in foreground, it display correctly.
So I am thinking it is caused by some printing configuration settings, such as character set. But I am not very sure about this.
Now I have this question, archiving script form into PDF, which is called Storing Outgoing Documents?, maybe have sth to do with printer setting.

I found the solution, it is to maintain the language set.

Placing SWF Movie into IDCS4 for export to PDF

I'm trying to place a swf into an Indesign document for export to PDF.
I made a simple swf using Flash CS4 (AS2 if it matters) and placed it using the File->Place menu.
I checked the Movie Options and selected, Embed in PDF, and play options.
Then I export to PDF and am sure that Interactive Elements is checked.
I found someplace that suggested toggling "create tagged PDF" to the opposite setting of whatever it is, but that didn't make any difference.
When I open the PDF with Acrobat and move to that page it just shows the default movie preview and shows a "buffering" window for ever, but the file is tiny so it should load immediately.
So how do I do this? Is it possible? I've tried some searches, but most everything I'm finding is about exporting ID docs to swf. And that isn't what I want.
At least I don't think this is what I want. I need to make a PDF that will have an animation of how to navigate a web app. So if anybody has a better way to do this, then please let me know!

The bottom line is:
It's a bug on the Mac
Windows users can play those SWFs but the Mac hangs
Adobe is aware of the problem
But if you want an SWF to play on both Mac and Windows, open the PDF in Acrobat Professional and add the SWF there.
You will actually have more control than if you had placed it in InDesign and it played correctly.

Easiest way with Acrobat pro, is save the Word document, then convert the document to PDF with Acrobat, rather than doing a "save as" in Word itself to PDF.
Do you have Acrobat full version or Pro?

Unable to create Accounting document for my Outgoing excise Invoice

Dear All,
I am implementing sales from Factory. I am unable to creat accounting document for my Outgoing excise invoice. When I click the Utilization button, The excise invoice type is selected Deemed.
1. How to control which Which Excise invoice type should be selected in J1IIN.
2. For Deemed exports will system not genererate Accounting document for Excise Invoice?
3. Where to view the excise invoice document types (Like Billing and order types)

For deemed export sales,
-Accounting documents will not get generated. (ref: Excise Acct Determination in CIN settings, you will not find Excise Tranraction type:ARE3 for which G/L account will not be assigned)
-Excise Invoice type will be automatically triggered based on configuration : Excise Group / Series Group detetermination.
- For Deemed Exports , only Quantity will get updated in RG1, but not the value. thats the reason, accounting document will not get generated.
- This excise invoice is created, for - to update the RG1 registry / ARE3 creation.

Hi,
You can define the number of documents to appear in the Payment window or you can have all the documents appearing in the outgoing payment for a specific BP.
I dont think there would be any problem in creating a Payment document for large number of documents but it would take time to complete the process.
But be sure that correct documents are included as you cannot have one or two document removed from the Payment or reconciliation which will happen on creation of payment. You have to cancel the complete payment.
Prepare a COPY of the database in Test Enviornment and give a try.

What format are those music scores (I'm not familiar with cubase documents). But, it may be that Adobe PDF Pack doesn't support that format. In that case, Acrobat is the way to go. You can then print your files to PDF as you'd like. You're welcome to try Acrobat for free for 30 days to see whether it's going to work for you. If you decide it is, and you'd like to use it going forward, you could convert your PDF Pack subscription into an Acrobat subscription.

I am trying to archive an outgoing document from SAP i.e. an invoice to a content repository using archive link and getting the below error:
Maintain archiving parameter(s) for output type RD00 (appl. V3)
Message no. VN096
Diagnosis
At the time of output determination, the archiving parameters for output type RD00 (application V3) were incorrectly maintained in Customizing.

Hi,
Which storage device are you using? I can only speculate the problem. Ok. So output type is configured properly. Can you check the object type for your document type in Transaction code OAC3. Check it should be VBRK. If it is not then change it to VBRK. Now go to transcation code OAD5 and check every thing is configured there or not. If it is all done then it should work. I presume that all basic customization is done in your system.

The coded UI test would have some limitations for the Word/office controls by design.
To really read and compare the text value, I'm afraid that we would use certain extension tool/add-in and custom code for it.

Will Adobe Export PDF convert a pdf document to an editable Pages document for iMAC?

HI HolySpiritThree,
ExportPDf will convert the PDF into Docx and doc format. Then you can download that converted file to you desktop. So if you have Word on MAc you can use that to edit the converted PDF file.
I'm not sure about Pages, if pages can open(supports) .docx or .doc files then you can always use Pages to edit the document. I hope that answer your question.

Storing documents for clients to download

I need to store several 2 to 3 page pdf documents for clients to download. I am not sure how to do this. Do I store these documents in my assets folder and then have a separate web page with the addresses to the individual documents in this assets folder?
Or am I missing something?

Yes, that'll work fine.
You can store your PDFs anywhere on the server provided the link to that document is a valid one ie. the server can find it when the link is clicked.
And in terms of protecting the contents for clients only, is there a specific software product that you would recommend using? I am asking this because many people can be downloading the pdf but only after they sign in to our web site and request the document(s).
No, there's no particular software required. You can find many scripts online to assist with this kind of protection.
How do people sign into your website? Do you have a members only area? Would you place the PDFs inside the members only area?
