STP2 having issues with audio fixes
For the first month I had STP2 bringing audio files, whether from FCP or just AIFFs from standalone, I was always able to run the power line hum and clicks/pop analysis with no problem. I was even able to apply the fixes with no problem.
Now, just recently, I can run the analysis but when I try to apply the fixes it will get about 75% through the file and then STP2 will throw an error. The errors have changed from stating it couldn't write the file to just the application freezing to others I can't remember.
Anyone have the same problem or an idea on the fix? I have more than enough hard drive space and RAM to do this with, and never had a problem until recently. Even created a new user just to see if it was a corrupt install of the software or my OS, no luck.

Have trashed the preferences file, emptied the cache, and just about everything. No matter what file I bring in now it does this.

Having issue with audio rendering
The original .mov file, when played back in quicktime AND in the viewer of final cut plays back smoothly and without error.
I bring it into the timeline, and I have to render the audio for playback, which I think is normal. However, when the render is completed, it doesn't take very long for the audio to start being REALLY strange. Remember how an old cassette player sounded when the batteries were dying? How the voice of who ever you were listening to would become really deep and slow? That's what the audio sounds like. What's up with that? Is there anyway to fix it?when played back in quicktime AND in the viewer of final cut plays back smoothly.
Because FCP's Viewer and QuickTime Player simply play back what you actually have, regardless of its format.

Now you are asking the audio to conform to the specifications of a particular codec as set up in Sequence > Settings. If it does not, you will have to render every time that a change is made.
As a rule, FCP expects digital audio to use a 48kHz sampling rate and be in AIFF format.
If yours came from an audio CD (44.1kHz) or an mp3 file, for example, it does not conform and might well produce unexpected results. Resample the audio to the correct specifications using Soundtrack, Compressor or QuickTime Player. -
Experiencing issues with audio scrubbing in Premiere cc 2014
Since upgrading I've been having issues with audio scrubbing in Premiere CC 2014.
Some of the time it won't scrub at all (silence) when I know that scrubbing option is turned on. Other times it will scrub the wrong section of the timeline, I'll hear dialogue from a different point in a clip.
Much of the time I experience this I'm working with multicam clips in sequences.

I am having issues with streaming music from iTunes on my MacBook Pro to my audio system through AirPlay. Works perfectly with my iPod Touch. The AirPlay icon appears irregularly in iTunes and when selected doesn't connect. Running latest IOS software.
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync all music and resync
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

However, now that is no longer working and although upload completes, the URL takes you to a "Forbidden - do not have permission to read this file" page. Lightroom is changing the permissions of each file to 000 instead of 644 for index files and 755 for all others. How can I change the permissions settings in Lightroom?

I downloaded CS6 and am having issues with my print driver. It is not compatible with the HP 2600n and have tried to download drivers given to me by adobe ( (Jupiter 3) but it is not working. after a few days. Its a temporary fix and is still looking for the HP driver when i boot up. It also will not save in any print or postscript format. Does anyone know how to fix?

What type of troubleshooting were we able to do with you? I want to make sure that we can get some sort of resolution for this problem.
It is quite possible the battery door may get your phone in working order again. I'm not sure if the store has it in stock, but it is available in our warehouse for $14.99 which can be ordered via customer service.

Since downloading OS X Yosemite I have been having issues with Netflix. Video slows down which causes the audio to go out of sync. Netflix plays ok on ipad which makes me think it's the software which is the issue. Has anyone else had this issue?
Try this:
Go to System Preferences - Bluetooth. Delete the keyboard from the list of devices by pressing the "-" button. Take the batteries out of the keyboard and reinsert them. In Bluetooth Preferences press the '+" button to add the new device. If the keyboard begins to pair, click the word "pair" and type in the passcode. Press return. The keyboard is now paired.
If the mouse is not pairing, try this: shut down the computer completely, unplug any USB mice, then turn off the power to the bluetooth mouse. ONce the computer starts up again, wait for the pop-up looking for a mouse. Turn on the power to the bluetooth mouse. It should work normally now. -
Hi people, have on the phone till Apple, the reason i cant download OS X Lion is because BT are having issues with the large download & are working on a fix. Was told to phone back in 24 hours if problem continues
Hi, just got off the phone from BT Business. It is the Business 2wire hub that has the issue. The girl from technical talked through a direct modem to Mac connection and my download took 20 minutes. If you are on Fibre broadband this is the only current fix or a new router if non fibre customer. Hope that helps.

I was having issues with syncing my 80G video iPod, so I restored it, and now all my songs in my library are "corrupted" and I can't get them back on my iPod. I keep getting error(-69). How did my songs all get corrupted, and how do I fix this without having to purchase these songs all over again?

I just switched from iphone 4s to LG G3. I'm having issues with bluetooth in my car, iphone would sync automatically but with G3 I have to manually connect to my car's bluetooth every time I turn it on - it won't sync automatically. Any fixes?
You can turn on BT tethering but it disables Wifi so if I have to do that step every time I get in my car, I just as well manually connect on BT every time.

I am having issues with 360 degree rotation, I have an iPhone 5 and ios 6.0.2. I have read alot about this issue online and I found out that my issue is software. I want to know if and when apple will fix this issue?
I had the same experience with a new iPhone 5 that I bought last week. Did not have a chance to measure battery life before the 6.0.2 upgrade installed but I set up my phone exactly like my 4S and immediately started running out of power after short periods. Went to Xmas get together with fully charged 5 and 4S. Heading home the iPhone 5 shut down for low battery and the 4S had 65% power. Both phones had two half phone calls on then and no data usage.
That night I fully charged the iPhone 5 and, without lighting it up, put it on my night table. Next morning I picked it up and looked at battery indicator and I had 42% charge with NO activity!
Tried it again next night and wound up with 37% charge. (Slept longer).
Today I called the carrier and reactivated the 4S. Took the 5 to Apple Store and they kindly gave me choice of new replacement phone or refund. I took the refund. Uniquely, the Apple Store said it was Verizon CDMA phones that were coming back.
The are other strings on this with temporary solutions, but from my experience with 7 firmware changes on an HTC 4G phone the problem will continue because the solution will be hardware caused. We are in the days where RTM means Rush to Market - not Release To Manufacturing.
I fear the only solution is to either wait for the next model (I did not notice a really major change in performance over the 4S in LTE heavy Seattle area) - or switch to another manufacturer.
It might be useful for these forums to indicate if you have a GSM or CDMA phone to see which have more problems.

Ok so I am having issues with charging my iPad as well. So I took advice from this forum and yes, if you turn the brightness down my iPad charges. Thanks Apple I just went and spent money on a new charger I didn't need. Really you need to fix this issue.

To be completely honest, FCPX is a RAM hog. It just is. But, RAM is relatively cheap, and the pay-off is good.
4GB is right on the edge, IMHO. 16G is ideal.
