Str.replace can't recognize some character in adobe js

Hi,
Some file name with foreign character like à è ì ò ù À È Ì Ò Ù. Want to replace with others and for this str.replace(/à/g, '1OeL1') use this js function but this function can't recognize those character.
How can i recognize those character with adobe js. please help me in this regards. i'm working on adobe bridge cs5.

If these are new original DVD, you should bring your system in for alignment. If they are copied DVDs, the drive that made them may be out of alignment and your good drive can't read the bad copy. There is also another issue you may be talking about. Many DVD movies are assigned a country code and will not run on a machine from another country. This was intended to prevent piracy.

Ok, first thing, why are you doing anything with WAMP or XAMPP when you're running a Mac? MAMP should be what you want unless you're not explaining part of what you are trying to do.
2nd thing, I haven't used MAMP in a while, but there are two possibilities for not seeing what you want to see once you have MAMP turned on. One possibility is that you already have "Web Sharing" turned on in your Sharing Preference Pane. If that is the case, port 80 will already be taken and you'll be seeing the default Apache install (files are stored at /Library/WebServer/Documents/). This would push MAMP to either not turn on it's web serving capabilities, or to push it to another port. The other possibility is that MAMP defaults to another port anyway. So instead of localhost, you might have to type in localhost:8080 or something similar. I believe the control panel that gets installed can take you to the currently MAMP-served page, and it can also help you change which port your serving on.
80 is the default port for web serving and the ONLY port that will let you get straight to the server without having to type in webaddress.com:port# instead of just webaddress.com.

W500 w/ Windows 7 64-Bit Ultimate fails to recognize some audio CDs

My DVD/CD drive (a HL-DT-ST_DVDRAM_GSA-U20N) in my Lenovo W500 laptop (running Windows 7 64-Bit Ultimate) fails to recognize some audio CDs.
It recognizes most audio CDs, but a few are not recognized by Windows 7 itself, or by any other program on my computer.
These CDs are recognized by other Windows 7 computers.
I don't think that it's a copy protection issue, since the CDs don't mention any copy protection scheme (and also since they work on other Windows 7 machines).
One CD that wasn't recognized by my machine was the second CD from a two CD set (the first CD was correctly recognized).
I have the latest updates for Windows, and all my programs, drivers, BIOS & firmware.

What kind of behavior are you getting from the drive? If it's spinning up, down, and up again your lens might be dirty or the drive could be failing.
If you do clean the lens, be careful. Do your research first or you might make it worse.

E65 can't recognize HS-31 headset

I bought a HS-31 stereo headset, and I realised that the phone can't recognize it. But can recognize the HS-5 mono headset which was packed with the phone together.
Based on offical Nokia web site http://europe.nokia.com/A4397267 this headset (HS-31) is one of the compatibility accessories.
I tried to find where can I set connected devices, and finally I found that:
tools ->settings ->phone ->enhanced settings ->others detected as -> mono headset or text phone. There is no opportunity to set stereo headset. Fw:2.0633.65.01

Problem solved. After not receiving any suggestions from the Forum - and having no success on my own - I went to the closest ATT store (about 40 miles away from our rural home) and explained the problem to one of the ATT salespersons. He said the BB had probably frozen. I handed him my 8700c, he took off the battery cover, took out the battery, partially removed (and then reinserted the SIM card), replaced the battery, replaced the cover, handed the BB back to me and said it should self-correct, re-boot and be good as new in less than three minutes. Once the screen re-appeared, I tried to connect the Soundport Flex ear bud and it worked perfectly. I was in and out of the store in five minutes. Impressive!
Apparently "freezing" is not uncommon after the BB has been on, in his words, a "long time." In my case that would be, most days 18 hours and some days on all day/night for two days if I've forgotten to turn it off.
Anyway I'm thrilled that ATT solved the problem and hope the solution is useful to those of you who may experience the same problem.

Select the style in the panel, then either double click ther style name, right click and choose Edit Style, or open the panel menu and choose Style Options to edit, or reformat some text using the style to be thway you want it and either right click the style or open the panel menu and choose Redefine style.
To delete a style you can drag it to the trash icon or use the panel menu. If it's in use you'll be asked to choose a replacement.

Fctix can't display Chinese character correctly

After last system upgrade,my gnome-shell updates from 3.8.1 to 3.8.2,then I find some character in the fcitx window is replaced by squares,as shows in here.

I suppose there's something wrong with the font,since gnome-terminal also has the problem and I change its font from "Inconsolata" to "WenQuanYi" thus fix it.
Same problem also occur in my chromium bookmarks folder names and the chromium title bars,and after change some system font through gnome-tweak-tool,it seems that everything is OK.
But all of these can't fix the problem of fcitx.
I am confused and can't figure out what the system upgrade changes my system config.
I also wonder how can I change the Chinest font of fcitx,for the fcitx-configtool just open ~/.config/fcitx/config but I don't know how to edit it!There is no item about "font"!

Replace a string in a character field with a amount value

Hi,
    I have a text field in which I want to replace a string with an amount value. while am trying to replace it , it gives me some empty space.
For example:
amount = '1200   '
message = 'The STIP amount is &1'
in my code :
replace &1 with message into message.
the result is
'The STIP amount is 1200   '
I dont want the space after 1200.
I tried for condense no-gaps also but it is not working ..
What may be the problem?
Can you suggest some solution for this?

I guess its replace &1 with amount into message.
Convert the amount to a character type (example move amount to amount_c ), then condense it and and then replace it using the 'REPLACE' statement.

Mac OS 10.4 can not recognize Mac OS 10.6 disc partitions

Western DIgital state that 10.4 disk utility is compatible with the Advance Format and will format the disc.
I get a Wester DIgital WD7500BPK to make a triple boot disc on my MacBook Pro (MacOS 10.4, MAcOS 10.6 and other Linux distro).

I sucessufull partition the disc with 10.6 and install SL but after booting from MacOS 10.4 original DVD, Disk Utility can´t see correctly the partitions created by MacOS 10.6
I already try to make just one partition with macos 10.6 and boot and try partition the disk with MacOS 10.4 but the disk utility is detecting a disc with 5.5.TB and it´s capacity is 750 Gb.
If I try to partions I get a input/output error.
I also try to boot from a MacOs 10.4.8 from a external drive and I get the same issue with Disk Utility.
Terminal diskutil give me the partitions that you can see in the image.
I will apreciate if anybody can give me some tips to partition this disc and be correctly recognized by MacOS 10.4 Disk Utility.

I was trying with 10.4.10 and this version still didn´t recognize the disc but after updating to MacOS 10.4.11 the system start to recognize correctly the disc.
I have to say that from MacOS 10.4 till 10.4.10 the disc was not correcty recognize.
In other words it was not possible to install directly from the system DVDs, unfortunatly the soluion will envolve other disc.
We need to install system and update till MacOS 10.4.11 in an external disc and then use CCC (Carbon Copy Cloner) to clone the system into the internal disc.
I hope that this post will help other´s with the same issue.

Only option is upgrading your Mac's OSX, since Apple will not allow iOS to go backwards.

Can´t open some DVD´s in DVD player since I´ve got Lion-there was never such problem under snow Leopard

Can´t play some DVD´s in Apples DVD player, that run well onmy machine(s) before i`ve installed lion. Even if I say in system Preference "when inserting DVD-start DVD player, it starts, but can´t even select the DVD´s. They appear in finder, I can playém e.g. with VLC, but DVD player says "no DVD available"

In my special case, it seems to be a slowly dying superdrive. Yesterday I´ve got a brand new DVD,which was not readable in my Imac. After some retries the drive simply ejected the disk.
`Cause I do not own a DVD-Player I went to a neighbour, where the dvd played fine. Now I realised after som tries, that my mac does not recognize any of my double density dvd´s. Single density works.
I think I will return my mac to the shop to get a new drive.

About TM "Backup Drive is Full"
Alert TM only deletes older files if they have been deleted from the source and when TM needs space on the backup drive for a new incremental backup. Time Machine "thins" it's backups; hourly backups over 24 hours old, except the first of the day; those "daily" backups over 30 days old, except the first of the week. The weeklies are kept as long as there's room.
So, how long a backup file remains depends on how long it was on your Mac before being deleted, assuming you do at least one backup per day. If it was there for at least 24 hours, it will be kept for at least a month. If it was there for at least a week, it will be kept as long as there's room.
Note, that on a Time Capsule the sparsebundle grows in size as needed, but doesn't shrink. Thus, from the user's view of the TC it appears that no space has been freed, although there may be space in the sparsebundle.
Once TM has found it cannot free up enough space for a new backup it reports the disk is full. You can either erase the backup drive and start your backups anew or replace the drive with a larger drive. You can also use the Time Machine application to selectively remove files, but that may be ineffective if you have to free up GBs of space.
