Straight talk MMS will not work on iPhone 5 purchased from Apple

Just purchased an iPhone 5 from Apple and activated on Straight Talk. Used the BYOD ( bring your own device ) option and purchased a SIM from ST. Everything works fine except my MMS. I even went and purchased a nano SIM from Tmobile. I have tried every suggestion found on the nets but none seem to work. I have tried all the APN settings mentioned. Without the APN settings I do not have the option to even select the camera icon while in messages. After Imanually enter the APN settings I then have the option to select the camera icon to choose existing or camera to send MMS. Everytime I try to send one it fails. It seems the only reason I needed the Tmobile SIM was to open cellular data. Cellular data was already an option without the Tmobile SIM. Nothing ever loads in the APN with Tmobile SIM or ST SIM. Called ST and got no help because was told since I brought my own device there was nothing they could do and to contact Apple. I know Apple would not be able to do anything for this, because it is not a phone issue but a cellular issue.

Hi Guys,
I got exchange mail working. It seems issue is around "Push". I enabled "push", account verified & all worked well. After that I disabled push (I do not want it & to save mobile data use).
By googling, I found many have got it up & apple may fix it in it next iOS udpate.

  • Transferred CS4 to new MacBook Pro, now some fonts will not work when PDFing documents from InDesign CS4. Help!

    I recently purchased a new MacBook Pro. I transferred my CS4 from my older MacBook Pro to my new computer, and although it seemed to be working fine now some fonts will not work when PDFing documents from InDesign CS4. These fonts are installed on my new computer, can be found in InDesign CS4, and work fine within the program but will not appear in PDFs. The letters turn into rectangles. Does anyone know why, and how to fix that?

    you should properly install adobe products, not move, migrate or otherwise transfer them.

    Windows 8 has not been officially released nor is it supported by iTunes.

    Yes, the message is self-explanatory. You need a carrier who supports Apple's activation policy for an iPhone.

    Have used Itunes for years with no incident.  Now, every time I try to purchase a song, book, app...it prompts me for my username and password.  Despite knowing it....it will not work. I've logged out / logged back in several times no luck.  I've updated my password successfully.  But again, each time I try to purchase something, I type in my username / password and it says that it is not correct.  ***.  Have recently even updated Itunes to make sure everything there is up to date.  Is there some virus that could be involved here.  HELP!!

    The time is 30.30, size is 56.8mb.
    This is the only song that I can't get onto my iPhone from my library.
    I have created several playlists. I add the songs I want in the playlist.
    Then I add the 30.30 song.  Every song sync's to my iPhone except that bloody 30.30.

    OK, sorry to labour the point, but does the song appear as part of an album in iTunes and is the rest of that album visible on the device?
    iTunes & iPods etc. have some slightly different rules about what shows up where which can sometimes be the cause of this sort of issue. See Grouping tracks into albums for details.
    You could swipe to the first screen with the Spotlight search tool and type in the name of the track to be certain.
    Failing that it may be time to backup and then restore the device.

    How do I get my Canon T5i to work with Photoshop Elements 11?  Do I need to update?  I just purchased 11 just before 12 came out so am not that anxious to purchase the new one.

    If you do have the MAC App from the Apple store, you can always download the free Adobe DNG converter and use that to convert your CR2 file to DNG files. The DNG files can then be used by PSE 11.

    Alternatively, you could use the Canon software (DPP) to conver the raw files to TIF files and use them in PSE 11.

  • My google talk account will not work with Jabber on iChat.

    I have an iBook G4, I know I know. But when I try using my google account in iChat it just doesn't work. I have tried deleting it from the panel and re-entering it but I get the same result: 'Connection not connect to host xmpp.l.google.com'. Everything is on default. I have a feeling that it may be my wireless connection with my wireless modem, but that is just a hunch.
    Any info that you need to help I will try to provide, just please help!

    The Host is "wrong".
    In OS x 10.5.8 you should have iChat 4.0.8 or 4.0.9 (it depends if you have done a particular Security Update and also where you look up the iChat details)
    This means that in Adding a new Account In iChat Menu > Preferences > Accounts and clicking the + icon you should see several choices in the Drop down at the top item in the new pane that appears.
    Above the line should be AIM, MobileMe and @mac.com
    Below the line should be GoogleTalk and Jabber.
    The reason GoogleTalk is separated like this is because Google do not conform to the Jabber Server naming method.
    With all other Jabber server you create an [email protected]
    So you would have [email protected] for example at Jabber Australia.
    Your google ID could be [email protected] or username @gmail.com
    Technically this could be two servers using the regular Jabber method.
    GoogleTalk's server is talk.google.com
    In iChat 3 when Jabber was added to iChat you had to set this manually.
    From iChat 4 onwards the software sorted it for you.
    Go to iChat menu > Preferences > Accounts
    Highlight the Jabber/Google ID and then click the Server Settings tab
    If you are logged out the text should be dark and editable.
    Change the Server name  to talk.google.com
    Make sure SSL is enable and the port reads 5223
    If in Doubt delete the Account (highlight and use the minus Button) and the re-add the account as GoogleTalk.

    my iPhone 5s had a prompt to update to IOS 8.2, and when I did my phone stopped working! Now the apple symbol and a blue screen keep switching on my screen but I cannot use the phone. I am on vacation and now have no phone!

    I have this same problem.  My phone has now been demoted to a very expensive paper weight.  Tried to update IOS about 3 hours ago.  Now phone is stuck with the "apple" on screen.  Won't do ANYTHING!  Seriously reconsidering my next upgrade in ~2 months...

    I recently purchased the lightning adapter for my iPhone 5S and the adapter does not insert properly when the Apple leather case is fitted to the phone, surely Apple do not expect one to remove the case to use the adapter?

    Yeah, it doesn't look like much, but I'm leaving in the player dock and you can't see it when it's plugged in. Better than taking case on/off all the time. I didn't wanna cut my case because I don't think there'll be enough of it left to hold together very long. Good luck with yours! I wish ape would have just included a little extension stub with their adapter.
