Strange, a feature on iPhone isn't on iPad

Hi my missus enjoyed her iPad2 much more, before the upgrade to iOS5, because a feature that she liked wasnt there anymore, by that i mean the little book icon that showed a number 1 to 9, touching it showed a graphical representation of the last 9 sites visited. Now the iPad simply show a toolbar below the address bar with these sites shown in text !.
Well that was bad enough, but now i have an iPhone with exactly the same iOS5 !!!!, i can see that on my iPhone i have the same icon with the numbers in it which my missus would realy like back on her iPad2 !!.
it doesnt make any sense, why is the same iOS5 so different on two different devices ??

The open windows function on the iphone has been replaced with Tabs on the iPad. Seems tabs were only practical on larger format devices.

Sounds like a 'stuck' Shift key. You could try to take the key off and put it back on yourself (should be some info on that from ifixit) or just take it to your local Apple Store and have them fix it.

HELP-iPhone isn't showing up in iTunes

So I set up my iPhone and everything yesterday. . .I downloaded the newest iTunes, but each time I even try connecting iTunes to the iStore, it says iTunes cannot connect to the iTunes store, unknown error occured (-3221), make sure your networ connection is secured. . .- -Well, my connection is secured and I've checked everything I could think of, but I still can't access the iStore from iTunes.
Another problem, my iPhone isn't even showing up in my iTunes. I had to use a seperate computer to even set up my iPhone. . .HELP! ! !

Just yesterday, I was getting the iTunes cannot connect message... it's happened prior to the iPhone..it just happens from time to time... I guess sometimes it just has some kind of connection error with the server. Nothing to be concerned about..that's on their side..not yours!

Have you performed a reset? Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off button for approximately 10-15 seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Release both buttons and await restart.

My iPhone isn't recognized by iTunes.

I am glad there was a copy paste added but it would have been nice to use your own ringtones and I don't understand why they could not use gps for the direction of the phone too.
I am sure if they can pinpoint you on the map they could tell what direction your holding the phone on the 3g.
The cam is very poor on the 3g phone it,s more like an afterthought.
I don't understand why apple did not have the function of moving your photos and ringtones with drag and drop onto itunes rather than sync to a folder.

The music I was trying to listen to didn't want to make a sound when I turned it in , I put a pair of headphones in and and it worked as soon as I took it off it completely stopped the music was playing still I could see it in the top column that the play button was on ... Then I made a call an the same thing happened I turned it on speaker and then I could hear them... The sound is completely off even tho i looked at the seettings and put the volume on high noting is sounding on its own not even when i tap the buttons... make sure that your head phones are not attached to the phone then use the volume buttons on the side, if when using them you see a pic of headphones on the screen, then you have some lint in the headphone jack, use some compressed air and blow it out.
If you dont see that then try to reset the phone, hold down the home and power buttons for 20 seconds or untill you see the silver apple.
If you are still having a problem restore the phone and set up as new to see if that clears it up.

Swipe up from the bottom. Control center should cover about 2/3 of the screen. At the top right of control center is a circle with a lock in it. If that lock is closed, tap to open it.

So you are saying that you followed all of the steps in the support document for problems with connection, including removing and reinstalling iTunes? You do not say what you have tried, so it is hard to make recommendations. If this is the case, then you have tried resolving driver issues? What if you go to Device Manager and look for the iPhone. You should be able to click on it and see about drivers. You can update/reinstall the device driver.

Universal Features for iPhones, please.

I'm rather disappointed at how many features are iPhone 4 specific on the latest update. Do we older generation iPhone users not matter to you because we haven't given you even more money for your annual hardware update? Do we not deserve FREE device tracking if our phones are lost, or worse, stolen? Having the feature on every iPhone that you can supply it to would be extremely helpful in helping law enforcement officials track down criminals. Do we NEED to give you even more money (an astounding $99 a year) for that peace of mind? Or even the smallest features such as new text tones that we already give you money for in the iTunes store that are limited to one use. If we don't get equal features, we shouldn't have to pay an equal price for the tones that we get limited use for. Apple, this is completely disappointing.
If there are other features we were short-changed on with the 4.2 update, feel free to add them below. I hope Apple hears us on this.

Why would you think that the older models of anything ( car/tv/dvd player/etc) would get all of the software upgrades that the new ones would. This is nothing unusual at all.\
You are not entitled to eternal upgrades so that your older device is the same as all new devices.
Certainly you know that.

My iphone isn't charging , i tough that the problem is coming from the cable or the adapter but i tried them with another iphone and they were working , i think the problem is from my iphone or the charging place, I cleaned that place and it worked but now its always connecting and disconnecting with a simple move

Try to restart the iPhone. If it still doesn't work, restore from backup or restore as new device. Have you tried cleaning the charge doc. Use a toothpick, dry toothbrush, etc to gently clean out the dust/debris form the doc connector.
