Strange Automatic Folder Creation Issue IMAP
Hello all,
I have been using mail for over a year and besides some minor issues (delay to download attachments, messages cant be read if I click on them before they are fully loaded) it worked OK. However, since the last update I encountered the following Issue:
A new "Inbox" folder which contains other Inbox folder that contains another Inbox folder and so on is created every time I restart the application, inside my IMAP account inbox. This creates no other problems that I am aware of, but it is annoying to have to delete this folder every time.
I have no idea what could be the cause of this, or how to go about giving this a permanent solution.
Any feedback and possible solutions to this will be greatly appreciated!

I have this same problem. Again, it does not seem to cause any problems that I know of, but it strange and just makes me think something is not correct with the setup. Any further info would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have created a large number of INDD documents that I piece together from many sources,
such as file folders, internet searches, external drives, emails...kind of grabbing things
from all over the place. usually I publish this as a PDF for local and archival use. Sometimes
using this also for newsletters and other ways to distribute documents as pdf and epub.
I never really paid to much attention to LINKED FILES and where they might
be located, as my intent was PDF and you can publish a very
serviceable Pdf without verifying or correcting MISSING LINKS...
NOW, I am working on a higher end 120 page Photo BOOK to have printed on paper.
I did not organise my image assets into a folder, i should have first. Now as I go to
upload to the publisher I find I have to many missing links to images. So I am going
back through the whole project and organising the assets and re-linking...what a lot of work this is.
I was wondering if InDesign supports automatic creation of assets folder?
As you place images, with their links, the program creates a folder and puts a copy of the file there?
I don't see anything about this subject.
I am wondering why not? It would sure make the work flow speed up. Options for
the format, size, pip etc. Does this exist in InDesign and if not
wtf not?
Sure would appreciate anyone's thoughts on this. It is to late now to save this
relinking 190 images, but I realise I need to be better prepared with my assets in the
future. I work on a number of publications, some spontaneously and others
more carefully planned...some sort of auto process for asset-linked-folders
seems a simple enough coding issue. It is 2014 already.

will place linked files into a folder. To bad. A really serious and lazy oversight in my view. The package function is helpful if one has already
organised their assetts.
As great as these programs are, this is an oversight of some frustration. As I said in my comments above, it seems an easy enough routine to program
into the app. Why should a user have to worry about collecting details of resources/links for a document?
Even after all these years?

Automatic folder creation fails ... trying to use the bulletin board tutor

I would like to create a blog using KMC functionality. For this I found an sdn article on how to create an bulletin board an this tutorial has some functionality I need in the blog too.
Unfortunately I have some problems when I want to have an folder created automatically. Here are the steps I am doing:
Creating a folder in the km-content named /documents/Blog
In Content-Management > Repository Filters > Userhome Filter+ I created an filter:
Name: Blog
Priority:
URLs: Postings
Prefix: /documents
Startpath: /Blog
Then I created a folder for the km-navigation iview in the portal content. The path to the initial folder is: /alias/documents/Blog/<user.id>/Postings
But when I call the preview to see the newly created folder ... I get the error message that the object couldn't be found (translated it means something like):
Object not found /alias/documents/Blog/<user.id>/Postings
Has someone an idea what the reason could be? Is it that the automatic creation of folders is only possible in special folders?Did someone faces the same or an similar problem and could help to solve it?

On a folder I've got a series of >3000 video files, and in order to use them with a software called TViXiE (http://www.tvixie.com/) for each of these files I must:
a) Create a folder with the same name of each video file (stripping out the extension from the original filename), and
b) Move the original file in the relative folder
Is there any way to do this task automatically (using an automator action or any other script), as doing it by hand would take ages?

Short pick automatic WT creation issue using Wave process
Hi Experts,
If we make direct pick for short pick quantity for product with multiple bins, system is creating two WTs successfully.
i.e. one for actual quantity and second WT for remaining quantity.
But, when we make above process using wave process, system is not creating automatic WT for remaining quantity.
Could you please help me on this issue? Little urgent to me.

Hi All,
There is on security group eg:-New Profile,if any new profile check-in ucm automatically the folder structure will create on that perticular profile.
The folder structure should be ---root folder EMPID_EMPNAME(Emp001_ABC)
Inside root folder 5 sub-folders like -----Emp Resume,Education details, Experience Details,Salary,Administrator
Let me know is there any possibility to create automatic folder creation when the new profile check-in inside UCM.

when i submit the name a new folder should be created under contribution folder with child folder name.
Scenario is that suppose a project comes and on mine custom page when i enter the project name a folder with same name should be created under contribution folder by calling new folder creation service.

Issue in automatic delivery creation
Hello,
This is to reframe the issue again and give you some more details on
this issue –
As per SAP standard we have configured our salers order for
immediate delivery creation with a default delivery block – XX. Hence
as
per config whenever we create a sales order, it gets created with a
default delivery block – XX which later on users removes manually and
system subsequently as per design creates the delivery document
automatically.
We are facing two issues in case of sales order design –
1. Some time even after removing the delivery block –XX manually,
system do not create the delivery document automatically against those
sales order.
2. Some time if sales order is created with a credit block in
addition to Delivery Block – XX, system doesn’t create automatic
delivery document against those sales orders even after releasing /
removing the credit block as well as Delivery block.
But if you just open those sales orders in VA02 and make any change for
example – Carry out new pricing Or carry out Availability check for any
one item and save the sales order without making any change into it,
system is creating delivery document against that sales order
automatically.
This issue is happening sporadically. There is no specific pattern
where
this issue is happening. This is an inconsistent issue. We could not
replicate this issue in any of our Non-production SAP system.
Whenever we tried to investigate it in debug mode for the sales orders
where this issue has happened, it worked well and created delivery
document automatically.
Requesting you to kindly look into this issue again and help us to fix
it as early as possible.

to check the errors issued I suggest to try to create the PO converting the PR from transaction ME21N.
I guess that some fields, mandatory for the PO creation, were not filled in the Purchase Request and could not be determined in any different way. If you can't maintain them on the PR you should set them as optional, if possible, in the customizing for Screen lay-out of transaction ME59N, under "Materials Management --> Purchasing --> Purchase Order --> Define Screen Layout at Document Level".

Hi Experts,
I am using SRM 7.0 with extended classic scenario and I have issue in the automatic po creation. For some Shopping Carts the PO is not automatically created. The SC is having Source of Supply Assigned and all the approves have completely approved the SC. The latest status is I1111 Item in Transfer Process.
I checked in RZ20, ST22 and could not find any error or dumps.
For the SC item under BBP_PDBEI the BE_OBJECT_TYPE is BUS2201 and BE_OBJECT_ID 1, once I trigger the PO creation manually the PO object id is reflected here.
For such SC I am running the report BBP_ALERT_SB_NOTTRANSFERED manually which puts the SC in I1112 Error in Transmission Status and later I can trigger the SC creation from the alert monitor.
For POs created in this manner the PO is created in Held Status without any line items, is this normal?
I have two questions which I want to understand, how is the automatic po creation from SC setup, is there any customizing involved for the po creation from SC to happen automatically?
What else should I check to find the reason why the the SC was stuck in I1111 status and PO was not created?You need to configure the Purchasing group and this will take care of automatic transfer of Doc to sourcing cockpit. Make sure you also maintain the customization for sourcing always carried out for Prod categories.

Automatic TO creation for delivery
Dear Experts ,
We are facing a problem with Automatic TO creation for delivery only in some storage types ( not all the types , some types are working fine )
The problem happened after we applied a user exit for a specific picking strategy , but even after we have cancelled that user exit still problem remained.
We have checked the following settings, and everything seems fine:
1-Warehouse management - Activities u2013 transfers u2013 define Mvt type
2-Warehouse management u2013 interfaces- Automatic TO creation

You mentioned that you have previously implemented the picking user-exit and removed it later. Did you enter the correct picking strategy for the effected storage types after removing the user-exit? This could be one reason.

I am trying to establish automatic sloc creation for this,
I have done the below configuration in IMG:-
Material Management -> Inventory Management and physical Inventry -> Goods Recipt -> Create Storage Location Automatically
then enable the plant and movement type for the same.
but when I am going to create the GR wrt. PO of the above enable plant, SLoc is not being created automatically.
Can anybody suggest me, any other setting is required for the same.

Create Storage Location Automatically
In this step, you specify whether the automatic creation of storage location data is allowed for goods receipts.
This is advisable if you want to post a goods receipt without having to maintain the storage location view of the material master record in advance.
You have to allow automatic creation per plant first of all. You then have to explicitly allow the creation of storage location data for each movement type.
The storage location data is only created if the quantity is posted to 'standard' storage location stock. It is not created for receipts into a special stock (for example, into sales order stock).
Default settings
The standard system is set in such a way that the storage location data is created automatically for all types of receipts (goods receipt with/ without reference, stock transfers, intial entry of stock balances, reversal of goods issues, etc.).
Activities
1. Enter for each plant whether the automatic creation of storage location data is generally allowed.
2. Specify the movement types for which storage location data is created automatically. -
Here's what I want to do. I'm trying to automate client folder creation. I have a directory called clients. Every time I create a new folder in the clients folder, I'd like for it to automatically ask me what I'd like to name the folder, then I would like it to create 6 directories inside the created folder titled "legal" "spec files" "correspondence" "modules""graphic design" and "archived materials".
How would I go about that with automator?A couple of options. The first uses automator and a shell script, but you would run the workflow which asks for a folder name instead of you creating it first, as you requested. The second uses Folder Actions so that when you create a new folder in your clients folder it will ask for a name and create the folders.
Automator Method:
1) From Files and Folders, drag over a "New Folder" action.
2) Enter a default name for the folder in the Name: field (or leave blank)
3) Select your Clients folder in the Where: field
4) Click the "Options" button and tell it to "show this action when the workflow runs"
5) From the Utilities, drag over a "Do shell script" action
6) Select the /bin/bash shell
7) in the Pass input field select "As arguments"
8) Enter this code mkdir -p $1/legal/ $1/spec files/ $1/correspondence/ $1/modules/ $1/graphic design/ $1/archived materials/
Save this workflow and run it when you want to create the new folder. If you have quick keys, launch bar, Quicksilver, or the like, you could set up a shortcut...or, you can use cmd-space to call up spotlight and search for you workflow name and launch it from spotlight.
For the Applescript option:
I had some glitches with it in that it seemed to re-run the script after I changed the name. I couldn't figure out if the name change drove the script to run again. Also, after creating the new folder, you have to wait a few seconds for it to trigger. Kind of annoying, I thought.

Robocopy not copying the folder creation date
We migrate the data between 2 Windowsfile servers using robocopy and it works finew ith issues. Only issue is it doesnt copy the folder creatiopn date from source to destination server, it does copy the file creation date without any issues. Command
we use is as below.
robocopy.exe %1 %2 /COPYALL /MIR /ZB /R:10 /W:2 /TEE /DCOPY /LOG+:robocopy_%3.log
This command is called using a batch file where we specify the source and destination using the below syntax.
