Strange beeping in the background on recorded videos.

When playing back recorded videos there is always a beeping sound in the background which can be heard when not much is going on. Is there anyway to turn this off? Thanks.

I also heard this too. Please listen to this video to confirm if the sound is similar: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogAAm64ewj8 My post link is here too: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2271630&tstart=0

  • What is the music playing in the background at WWDC video "Thank you"?

What is the music playing in the background at WWDC video "Thank you"?, which starts with the blind man that used his iPhone to walk independently. (at the end of the video, you can hear the music without speech).

Music in the video was "It's Time" by Imagine Dragons, from the album Night Visions.

When listen through my earphones I hear a beep in the background.

Hey welcome to the Spotify Community! Without any other details, my best guess is that your headphones are triggering some kind of voice command system on your phone. Does it happen randomly when your headphones are plugged in and the screen is off? Does it happen if you twist around the 3.5mm connector inside of the phone? The more details you provide the more I can try to help :)

  • How long can the iPhone 3GS record video before the battery runs out?

My father invested in an iPhone 3GS Tripod adapter for his tripod, for some conferences and lectures. He has a 16GB 3GS, which will record about 8.6 hours, according to another thread I've read about on here. But he doesn't really want to bring the USB/Adapter cable with him, and have to worry about finding a power outlet. Assuming his phone is on full charge, and bluetooth/wifi are shut off, and brightness is kept a bit dim (not too dim) - can anyone give me a round about answer of how long the it will record video before the battery dies? This function is today, so timing is critical. I will have him take the charger/usb with extension cable just in case. I'd appreciate anyones input

Not sure if the battery will die before or after your done recording on the iPhone. But most sites are claiming that you can record up to 2GB per video.I just recorded a one minute clip, and it rounded off to about 34MB.So if you devide that,it rounds off to around an hour of recording video...But take that with a grain of salt,I'm not good with math lol

  • When playing ituens music on my windows computer - every few seconds there is a ctrang horn beep in the background - like there is an error message worning.  whats up

when using ituens to playback music - there is a strange horn like beep sound in the background every 1 or less.  what to do to get rid of it

Yes...It is very annoying. I spent all day trying to get this worked out and after a lot of trial and error and a lot of restarts I got iTunes to work.
I deduced that I had a conflict of some sort and ruled it down to my temorary files that windows doesn't delete after it is finished with them. I cleaned out my temporary file by using this webpage http://personal-computer-tutor.com/deletingtempfiles.htm . After I did this my computer worked like it did when it was new!!
This seemed to work for me and it might for you if you are having problems.

  • Strange sounds in the background - malware?

    Hi,
what I'm going to say may look like a joke, but it is not. It's an annoying problem that worries me and I have no one I could consult about it.
For some time now – I can't say exactly for how long – I've been hearing strange animal sounds in the background of my Maverics. These are usually dog barking or horse neighing, and they are quite frequent.
In 99.9% of the cases, when I have my speakers on, it is because I'm listening to some music or watching something. Another thing is that you really have to turn up the volume maximally in order to hear the sounds. So they actually might have been there for quite long, but perhaps I just didn't notice them.
I'm pretty sure, however, that I did hear a horse sound accidentally a couple of weeks ago. I did not care as I was sure that I misheard something. I didn't  think that a horse neigh could be coming from my computer, because seriously, would you?
I suppose the sounds might be caused by a malware. I had been using Sophos for months, but I installed Avast and F-Secure Anti Virus and run them one after another. The former found a Java Open Stream Trojan, a zip bomb and a couple of corrupted files. The latter did not find anything. The sounds are still there.
Is there anything more I could do? Please help me because I'm really worried.
Plus I need some help in clarifying this: I have an Adobe Flash Player Install Manager in my Utilities. I don't know if it has anything to do with the malware that used to be around in 2012, but I followed the Terminal method to see if my computer was infected, and was told it was clean.
I tried to delete the file but it asked for my password, claiming that Finder has to do some changes. I don't know if it's safe to provide the passowrd, so I did not do anyting. Could you please tell me if it's safe and if it's not, what should I do about the utility?

I have found what causes the sounds - it is not malware The sounds were caused by a weather program called YoWindow. Disabling sounds effects solved the problem. It's a relief.
I'd appreciate if someone could anwer my latter question, though.

  • How do I delete or hide things in the background of my video?

    Hi Adobe Community,
I am using Premiere Elements 10 to produce short video reports.
In one of my shots there is an annoying green thing in the background which draws a lot of attention but is really unwanted. Is there a way for me to delete this object or hide it from the screen? Even making it black would help...
    Any help appreciated!

You can put a black graphic over it using the drawing tools in the Title workspace.
Or, using the Effects Mask (via right-click), you can blur it, as I show you in my books.

  • How large are the files from recording video's?

I purchased a 8gb model 5th gen and was just wondering if I should go with the larger model because I do plan on shooting some video with it. I currently have about 1.35gb of music that I will be adding to it.
Do you suppose that around 6gb will be fine for videos?
    Thanks!

So you are saying that about an hour of recorded video has been about 1gb-2gb?
That's not bad. I just plan to shoot small amounts of video so it sounds like I am good.
    Thanks for the help!

  • When rotoscoping, how do I delete the background of a video so that when I import it into final cut, the background is transparent and not black or white?

    Hello there,
I am new to after effects.
I'm currently working on some footage of a face talking. I have used the rotobrush to single out just the lips moving and have deleted the background. However, when I delete the background it automatically changes the background to a solid black.
The effect i'm looking for is more something of the effect of a PNG in photoshop - no background so that when it is imported into a movie, the lips with be free standing over other footage so that the oner footage will be shown behind the moving image of the lips..
I have looked at multiple tutorials and threads and found nothing that helps with my problem - if there is one, I apologise, I have just spent so long looking and thought here was the best place to come.
If anyone can give me any advice it would be very greatly appreciated - Thankyou!
    BJH

First, check to make sure you actually HAVE transparency by doing one of three things: change the comp's background to something other than black, click on the button at the bottom of the comp window to view the alpha channel, or click the button on the bottom of the comp window to reveal the familiar Photoshop checkerboard background.
Next, select a codec that supports alpha channels -- in Quicktime-Land, that would be Animation, PNG or Prores 4444.  For FCP, use ProRes if you can.
After that add the comp to the AE Render Queue.  In the output module, select RGB+Alpha, Millions (or trillions) Of Colors +, and Straight, i.e. not premultiplied.  If you absolutely MUST have audio (I personally have little use for it), check the appropriate  check box.
Finally, save the project and hit the render button.  DO NOT save the project again after rendering; instead, go file>Revert.  That way, if you have one of those Homer Simpson "DOH!" moments where you realize you made a mistake, you simply delete the rendered file, make corrections, and you're all set to re-render.

  • When using Firefox today a strange page with the title wonderhowto showing video instruction appears and all other open pages are closed. I have minimalised this stranger to the screen base and it now shows there with a mini firefox attached!

Please bear with me as I am quite new to computers. Early today on start up I was asked to upgrade an Apple app. I declined as I did not have time.
I opened Firefox as usual and went into several sites mail news etc and all seemed fine. Late morning this strange and quite professional looking video instruction page appeared full of photo's and instructions etc, the page took over the whole screen I thought it was strange so I closed it and all my open Firefox sites had gone. This has now happened several times. I have now noticed that when it is up there is a website address at the bottom of the screen. I tried to copy and paste this but it would not let me. There is a name scorecardresearch.com. Does this strike a bell with anyone?

    Hello,
My name is Bryan Crow, and I am the CEO of WonderHowTo.com. This problem was brought to my attention this morning by others who have reported the same problem to our contact address: [email protected] I'm very sorry to hear this is happening.
I assure you this is not something our website created or installed on your computer. Most likely it is some form of spyware or virus that is opening our website in order to hide it's true purpose. We are a large and trusted source for how-to articles and videos, so there is no reason we would choose to annoy people with such an obnoxious and intrusive behavior. Frankly it's very upsetting that someone would create malware that directed people to our website.
Naturally, our team would like to do whatever we can to try and find the culprit behind this so we can report them. If any of you can provide me with additional information by emailing [email protected], it could help us get to the bottom of this.
    Specifically:
    * Have you installed or updated any Firefox Add-Ons recently (go to Firefox -> Add Ons to see the list of add-ons you have installed)?
    * What Firefox Add-Ons do you have installed?
    * Have you tried running a virus or spyware scan on your system? If so, which software did you use and did it help?
    * What URL is opening up when you see WonderHowTo, and what exact time of day (and in what time-zone) did you see it?
    Thank you for your help.

  • The quality of recorded video in recordmydesktop

The program recordmydesktop have option "Image quality" from 1 to 100. What quality you're using to capture video from your desktop? What quality do you recommend?

    Ian, Russ, and Warwick,
I want to sincerely thank all of you for responding with some excellent advice and suggestions.  I have been usng the trial verisons of several plugins on my S-VHS footage as well as some of the filters supplied in FCP X.  I have already learned three things: (1) Judicious and conservative use of any of these filters is required to avoid making the footage appear even worse.  (2) It's important to judge the results after applying the filter at 100% image size rather than either a smaller or enlarged image.  With the former the results are difficult to see, and enlarging the image beyond 100% (e.g. going to full screen mode) on a 30 in. Apple Cinema Display gives an awful looking image because of artifacts brought on by scaling up the image beyond its native resolution.  (3) These filters, even those that are GPU accelerated, really require a lot of rendering time.  (I sure wish Apple would release a new Mac Pro as this project would really benefit from more computing horsepower than my five year old Mac Pro affords.)
Warwick, thank you so much for the suggestion about the DENOISER plugin from Neat Video and the CoreMelt lock-n-load stabilizer.  I am carefully evaluating these as well.  It is really going to take me quite some time to experiment with the judicious application of these filters to decide which ones to buy, but I do believe that either some of the third party plugins or even those available in FCP X (thanks Ian for calling my attention to those!) will significantly improve this S-VHS footage.
This is a great community to turn to for advice, and I truly apreciate the fact that each of you took the time to share your experiences with me and to offer suggestion.  Thank you all!

  • Recording video on the Pre?

Maybe I'm just missing something, but it appears that the Pre has no way to record video. Even my ancient Razr could do that, although not very well.
If I am correct, and there is no ability to record, does anyone have any idea whether that feature might appear?

When will palm decide to add the video recording on the Pre?  I couldn't believe it didn't have that feature.  I Googled forums about the Palm Pre, and I see that I haven't been missing it..............there is no video recording feature.  I am not sure how this feature was missed.  The Pre can play movies and videos, but the cannot record/create a videos.  This really doesn't make sense.
Hi, and welcome to the Palm Community Forums.
I can't answer your question as to when (or if) video recording will be available on the Pre.  Don't know personally whether it's just a matter of a software/OS upgrade, or if the hardware can even handle it.
BUT...to answer your final comment, it makes perfect sense to me for a device to be able to play movies and video but not be able to record video.  I have had many a cell phone that could record video, and I think I can count on one finger the number of times I have ever used it.  On the other hand, I have tons of movies, music videos and video clips which I have moved from my desktop computer to my Centro and other Palm devices for amusement of myself and others.
My phones have had the ability to take photos for years, but I have seldom used that feature, because the quality has been so awful. The Palm's image quality, though, is in a whole different league--roughly the same as many point-and-shoot digital cameras. Now that the pictures look halfway decent, I find myself using that feature often.
It would be the same for me with the ability to record video.
I can understand Palm/Sprint's eagerness to get this thing to market when they did, and I recognize the perils of being an early adopter. I am willing to be patient as they get the phone and its software sorted out, but I hope they realize that loyalty on the part of the user base has its limits.

  • Recording video/audio files using Flash Meida Server through rmtp, and allow users to access the recorded files through http.

As titled, what is the way to record video/audio files using Flash Meida Server through rmtp, and allow users to access the recorded files through http?
What I am trying to do, is to record a user's microphone's input and save it to the server. Afterwards, I would like other users to be able to access the recorded files and mainuplating the audio data, by computeSpectrum(), to do some visualization of the audio. As I know computeSpectrum() cannot work on streaming files, so I think I need to access the recorded files using http instead of rmtp. Is that true?
How can I redirect the http request to the files I was recorded into my applications/appName folder? Or I need to somehow moved the recorded files to the /webroot folder?
    Thanks!

I probably have asked a stupid question.
My recorded streams are still saved in the applications/appName/streams folder.
And I redirect the www.mydomain.com/streams to point to the applications/appName/streams folder.
And the rmtp recorded streams are abled to connect through http now.

  • With OS X Yosemite 10.10.1, cannot record video with the iMac's built-in FaceTime HD camera. Cannot find the "Import" button in the toolbar.

Just updated to OS X Yosemite 10.10.1 and cannot find the "Import" button in the toolbar to record video on my iMac's Face Time HD built-in camera.  Trying to follow the steps found under "iMovie (2013): Record video with the FaceTime HD camera" on apple support posting but it seems to me that those were posted for another OS version.

    Hello Triunfo,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
If you are using the current version of iMovie, 10.0.6, you can follow the directions in the help article linked to below to import using the built-in FaceTime HD camera.
