Strange behavior of inserted graphic in smartform

Hello,
I uploaded colored bmp picture to R/3 in se78. After that I  put the picture to smartform as graphic, but through testing of this form some strange lines appears over the picture.
I tried several color depths. Picture is displaying fine in se78 preview. Has somebody an idea how to avoid described problem?
Best regards,
Josef Motl

Hi,
I tried many options and also tiff format. In this case thick line on bottom of picture appears.
I'm on 6.20 release..

Josef

  • Strange behavior when "trying" to burn a disk.

    At least I think this is strange behavior, following the instructions in the help viewer, topic "Backing up your music to a CD or DVD." One thing for sure, it's not burning a disc and it ain't telling me why.
    I select the playlist and click "Burn Disc"
    Requests a blank disc. I insert one.
    Message "checking media"
    after about a minute, the disc ejects
    Message "checking media" displays another 30 seconds
    No other messages displayed.
    What the ??? Shouldn't it at least display an error message??

    Whoops, sorry, this was while burning a playlist.
    I've also tried some Pleomax CD disks (Samsung), with no luck. I've tried burning directly from iTunes, and from Toast 7.
    Of the types I've tried, the Sony DVD's have been the best for me. Haven't tried many types though. Maybe I can get disks one at a time until I find a brand my burner likes.
    Still, isn't it strange that there is NO error message? It just quits?

  • Strange behavior from a PB G4 (Part 2)

    On to my next issue. Often when I'm typing the insertion point will jump to someplace other than where it should be or just disappear all together. I'm not doing anything to cause it to do this. I've been being really carefull to not to do anything wrong. I'ts often enough to be a real nuisance. It happened 7 times during my first post (Strange behavior from a PB G4) and 3 times during this one. Please help. Thanks.

    Did you use the iFixit website? It has excellent pictures and instructions that are easy to follow.
    Replacing any hard disk drive will be challenging for a paraplegic, but with someone's help it can be done fairly inexpensively. There are many tiny fasteners that require tiny tools. Use an egg carton to store them, separated by their location in the PowerBook.
    Earlier PowerBooks are easier to work on than later ones.
    I still use a PowerBook G4 on occasion, mostly for importing video for editing in iMovie. I upgraded its original 60 GB HD to a much larger one. If you were to do this you would need to locate the PowerBook's original System Install DVD to install and subsequently update OS X and all its original programs.
    If you ensure at least a few gigabytes free space, I think most of your problems will be fixed. When free disk space gets down to a few hundred megabytes or less, performance will suffer dramatically. You don't want it to ever get anywhere near that low. Strange things start to happen.
    Keep the number of icons on the Desktop to a minimum also. That makes a difference, for reasons that I do not fully understand.

  • Strange behavior in Contacts 'Note' field

    I am getting strange behavior in the 'Note' fields of my contacts. I am sending out my Christmas cards and, in the process, making a lot of comments in the 'Note' field. Here is what has been happening.
    Notes disapper from one or many contacts.
    Text from one note gets inserted into the note of several other contacts, replacing whatever content was previously in that contact.
    The common thread here seems to be that the changes are being applied across all the notes in a Smart Group (I use a number of keywords to create Smart Groups).
    A few questions.
    Is my contact database corrupted in some way? If so, can how can I clean it up?
    Are other people experience erratic behavior in the 'Note' field?
    Is there any way that I can use the 'Note' field reliably?
    As it is, the 'Note' field is essentially useless to me … and the address book is increasingly frustrating.
    Many thanks,
    Heather

  • Strange behavior of Content area

    Hello everybody,
    I'm working with Portal 3.0.8. I've installed czech language on it.
    What did I do is:
    1) I made new look for my navigation bar (new image and basic items). And it worked fine. I worked in English!
    2) Change language to Czech.
    3) Show my content area and there were old items on navigation bar. But style was new. If I navigate to any sub-folder, the look is OK. In the root folder I can't change anything. I can add new items only, though it is possible to see them only when I work in English.
    Does anybody know the reason of this strange behavior and what I should do? Thanks for your help!

  • Strange behavior of std::string find method in SS12

    Hi
    I faced with strange behavior of std::string.find method while compiling with Sunstudio12.
    Compiler: CC: Sun C++ 5.9 SunOS_sparc Patch 124863-14 2009/06/23
    Platform: SunOS xxxxx 5.10 Generic_141414-07 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-V250
    Sometimes find method does not work, especially when content of string is larger than several Kb and it is needed to find pattern from some non-zero position in the string
    For example, I have some demonstration program which tries to parse PDF file.
    It loads PDF file completely to a string and then iterately searches all ocurrences of "obj" and "endobj".
    If I compile it with GCC from Solaris - it works
    If I compile it with Sunstudio12 and standard STL - does not work
    If I compile it with Sunstudio12 and stlport - it works.
    On win32 it always works fine (by VStudio or CodeBlocks)
    Is there any limitation of standard string find method in Sunstudio12 STL ?
    See below the code of tool.
    Compilation: CC -o teststr teststr.cpp
    You can use any PDF files larger than 2kb as input to reproduce the problem.
    In this case std::string failes to find "endobj" from some position in the string,
    while this pattern is located there for sure.
    Example of output:
    CC -o teststr teststr.cpp
    teststr in.pdf Processing in.pdf
    Found object:1
    Broken PDF, endobj is not found from position1155
    #include <string>
    #include <iostream>
    #include <fstream>
    using namespace std;
    bool parsePDF (string &content, size_t &position)
        position = content.find("obj",position);
        if( position == string::npos ) {
            cout<<"End of file"<<endl;
            return false;
        position += strlen("obj");
        size_t cur_pos = position;
        position = content.find("endobj",cur_pos);
        if( position == string::npos ){
            cerr<<"Broken PDF, endobj is not found from position"<<cur_pos<<endl;;
            return false;
        position += strlen("endobj");
        return true;
    int main(int argc, char ** argv)
        if( argc < 2 ){
            cout<<"Usage:"<<argv[0]<<" [pdf files]\n";
            return -3;
        else {
            for(int i = 1;i<argc;i++) {
                ifstream pdfFile;
                pdfFile.open(argv,ios::binary);
    if( pdfFile.fail()){
    cerr<<"Error opening file:"<<argv[i]<<endl;
    continue;
    pdfFile.seekg(0,ios::end);
    int length = pdfFile.tellg();
    pdfFile.seekg(0,ios::beg);
    char *buffer = new char [length];
    if( !buffer ){
    cerr<<"Cannot allocate\n";
    continue;
    pdfFile.read(buffer,length);
    pdfFile.close();
    string content;
    content.insert(0,buffer,length);
    delete buffer;
    // the lets parse the file and find all endobj in the buffer
    cout<<"Processing "<<argv[i]<<endl;
    size_t start = 0;
    int count = 0;
    while( parsePDF(content,start) ){
    cout<<"Found object:"<<++count<<"\n";
    return 0;

    Well, there is definitely some sort of problem here, maybe in string::find, but possibly elsewhere in the library.
    Please file a bug report at [http://bugs.sun.com] and we'll have a look at it.

  • WVC54GCA strange behavior

    Hey Guys, I've added my fifth camera. And the rest work great and can access remotely. But my fifth one is a WVC54GCA with audio. And I am getting strange behaviors. For example, when I'm hard wired , I am able to view the video by browsing to the camera. However, when I configure wireless, and not even go wireless, still connected via LAN I can't view the video, it is almost as if the web server in it get hosed, even the graphics change and the Linksys banner is missing and I see this at the top of each menu page:File menu_setup.htm not found. Also another example, is under admin, the buttons for firmware upgarde and factory reset are invisible, I can still tab to them and use them. That's why I think it is a web server issue with itself. I am on rev V1.00R24, my other cam that is behaving correctly is on R22.
    When I go wireless, same problem, I am unable to browse to the camera to view the image, however, I am able to see the picture via the video monitoring utility. I can browse to the camera to 'administer' it but even that doesn't work right either. Especially the basic menu. If I try changing anything, LED, or time or anything, I get a error saying invalid subnet mask. When I didn't change it, plus it is obviously correct since I can browse to it. The cameras address is 192.168.1.122/24 and the gateway is 192.168.1.23, the same mask and DG on all my other cameras.
    I've rebooted the camera and the linksys router and still get the same issue. Has anyone got any ideas? I am barely ok, since I can view the image via the monitor utlity, but it would be nice if the camera work correctly like the other 4. Is their a limit to the number of wireless cam's? I have 5 total now.

    I to have had strange issues with the WVC54GCA.  I have two cameras.  I set them up in my office first for testing.  The final place they will be is at my summer place for monitoring when I'm away.  I had a break-in last year.
    In the office I had issues primarily with the motion detection email feature.  It simply would not work.  The test messages work just fine every time.  So I know the email config information is correct. I'm not sure if we just did not wait long enough or if it was the scheduled capture we setup, however it seems that until we setup a scheduled capture and deleted it; the motion capture would not work.  So after about 3 hours of testing and cofiguring and resetting we had it capturing pics and video.  BTW we are using a VRV200 at the office.
    Next, took the camera's out to the summer place.  Setup them up from scratch, did a hard reset.  Main issue, same as in the office (using a wrt54g at the summer place) not doing a capture.  Test email works fine,  No capture. Not even after playing the set a scheduled capture trick.  Tried everything I can think of, no luck, no capture.  As you can imagine, if it won't capture, then it is useless for remote monitoring of a summer place.
    I checked for a firmware update for the WVC54GCA, however its brand-d-new, so there is only one version of the firmware and that's the one that came on the camera.
    Any ideas would be welcomed.  I must have a capture solution.  Maybe I just need to buy a more expensive camera.

  • Strange behavior with "insertTextAsContent"

    Hi,
    I've got a strange behavior with this loop :
    for (j = 0; j < myParagraph.characters.length-1; j++) {
         var myCharacter = myParagraph.characters[j];
         if (myCharacter.appliedFont.fontStyleName == "Regular") {
              alert(myCharacter.contents);
              myXmlElement.insertTextAsContent(myCharacter.contents, XMLElementPosition.ELEMENT_END);
    I loop through every characters of a paragraph, test if they are "regular", "italic", "bold"..., and store them in different xmlElement. Everything is fine except that every double characters (in french : homme, cette, elle, ville...) output in my xmlElement as one only character (home, cete, ele, vile...). I try with "aaaaaazzzzzzeeeeeerrrrrtttttyyyyy" and it give me, the same way, "azerty" ?!
    The "alert" line output the correct full sentences character by character ("h", "o", "m", "m", "e"...).
    If you have any idea to explain, you are more than welcome
    Thanks
    ** edit : don't know if it's important but I'm using CS6 **

    Hi
    Have you seen this in the object model viewer?
    XMLElement.insertTextAsContent (using:varies, position: XMLElementPosition ): Text
    Adobe InDesign CC (8.0) Object Model
    Inserts the specified text as content before, in, or after the XML element.
    using: Data Type: varies
    The text to be inserted. Can accept: String or SpecialCharacters enumerator.
    position: Data Type: XMLElementPosition
    The position at which to insert the text. Note that text inserted before or after the element does not become part of the content of the element. Instead, it becomes content of the parent of the element.
    Don't ask me why it works when there is no doubled character
    So i tried the following and it worked. I hope this will solve your problem.
    function main() {
         if (app.documents.length != 0) {
            var myDoc = app.activeDocument;
            var myParagraph = myDoc.textFrames[0].paragraphs[0];
            var myXmlElement  = myDoc.xmlElements[0];
            for (j = 0; j < myParagraph.characters.length-1; j++) {
                var myCharacter = myParagraph.characters[j];
                if (myCharacter.appliedFont.fontStyleName == "Regular") {
                    alert(myCharacter.contents);
                    myXmlElement.contents += myCharacter.contents;
                    alert(">" + myXmlElement.contents+ "<");
                }     // if
            }     //for
        }     // if
    }   // main()
    Kind regards

  • Strange behavior on pick load

    We have a strange behavior with TopLink when the load of the server increases : random errors appear in database : pimary key voilated !
    After analysis, we noted that TopLink generates a SQL INSERT in the place of SQL UPDATE. We use the method registerObject for enregister the existing object in the unitOfWork but in certain cases Toplink does not see any more that the object exists and decides to insert it.
    When we pass by again the same cases of figure after the peaks of loads, the program proceeds normally and TopLink generates SQL UPDATE.
    Thank you for your assistance, our production suffers from this problem

    Hello,
    Looks like you have the existence checking set to checkcache only and are likely using a WeakIdentityMap for your objects identity. Under load, this could potentially cause references in the cache to be garbage collected, so that subsequent existence checks won't find them.
    If the above is correct, you can increase/decrease the likelyhood of the problem occuring on a test system by tuning the JVM - removing/adding memory, tuning gc options etc. You might also want to tune each descriptor cache based on your applications usage as described at:
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/ias/toplink/doc/10131/main/_html/cachun.htm#CHEJAEBH
    In addition to setting JVM options that suit your application's usage and load, you can prevent the problem entirely by:
    1) reading existing objects through the UOW instead of registering them. This will ensure that if the object has been removed from the cache, it will be read from the database. If it hasn't been removed, it is just a cache hit. Or
    2) use the Check Cache then Database option.
    Benifits of 1 are that if you know the object is new, you don't need to go to the database, but you can always use the RegisterNewObject api as well to avoid the database hit with option 2 anyway. There are probably more ways to avoid the problem, these are just the first two I thought of.
    Best Regards,
    Chris

  • [IDCS5] Change to inline make a strange behavior

    Hi,
    I am writing a ChangeToInline function with kChangeILGCmdBoss command, exactly like SnpManipulateInline::ChangeToInline.
    But, the command has a strange behavior. Item is anchored inline, but a copy of it rest on the page.
    This copy is like a phantom item. I can't select it and I can't delete it, it's not in a locked layer, but appears on the page.
    Can anyone tell me how could I delete it ?
    Thanks.

    Let me explain a little more my problem.
    Just modify the SnpManipulateInline::CreateFrame function like this :
    #include "FileUtils.h"
    #include "ISpreadList.h"
    #include "ISpread.h"
    ErrorCode SnpManipulateInline::CreateFrame(IDataBase* database, UIDRef& newFrameUIDRef)
    // You can make any type of frame into an inline. Here we make a new graphic frame.
    PMRect bounds(0, 0, 100, 100);
    SDKLayoutHelper layoutHelper;
    IDFile imageFile;
    FileUtils::PMStringToIDFile("c:\\tmp\\colorbars.tif",imageFile);
    // Get reference to spread layer
    InterfacePtr<ISpreadList> iSpreadList(database,database->GetRootUID(),UseDefaultIID());
    InterfacePtr<ISpread> iSpread(database,(iSpreadList->GetNthSpreadUID(0)),UseDefaultIID());
    SDKLayoutHelper helper;
    UIDRef spreadLayerRef=helper.GetSpreadLayerRef(::GetUIDRef(iSpread));
    // Place image
    newFrameUIDRef=layoutHelper.PlaceFileInFrame(imageFile,spreadLayerRef,bounds, K2::kSuppressUI);
    //newFrameUIDRef = layoutHelper.CreateRectangleFrame(UIDRef(database, kInvalidUID), bounds);
    if (newFrameUIDRef)
         return kSuccess;
    else
         return kFailure;
    Then try it in SnippetRunner. This is the result :
    and you see what I means.

  • Strange behavior in URxvt - charactes remain on screen (Incl. Scrot)

    I'm using Arch  with Openbox.
    Compton as composite manager, ẅith the open source  Xf86-video-ati driver,
    URxvt as terminal emulator (with the perl extension collection, more specifically tabbedex,default,keyboard-select,url-select,clipboard,matcher)
    and zsh with Oh-My-Zsh as shell.
    Recently switched to Arch from Ubuntu, and I'm loving it. But as the topic says, I'm getting some strange behaviors while using URxvt. If I type a command into the terminal, using tab-completetion as i usually do, and then delete some character or press tab again, in about 50% of the cases some characters from the previous command remain on the command line. Also, if I type in for example 'sudo tail -f /var/log', and delete the entire line, the 'S' letter will persistantly remain after my prompt, making the next command 'ssudo'. Other times, the '/' might remain stuck from the '/var/log' part, as shown in the screenshot.
    Tried my best to reproduce the problem for a screenshot, so see the image below, the two upmost terminals for an example of what it usually looks like.
    Could anybody help me out finding out the cause of this problem? Is it related to zsh, urxvt or the graphics driver?

    jasonwryan wrote:Does it happen without Oh-my-zsh? It is likely your prompt (with incorrect or missing escapes) or you are exporting your term.
    How would I check the prompt for missing escapes? Haven't tried not using Oh-My-Zsh, would rather fix it if that's the problem.
    My current prompt/Oh-My-Zsh-theme:

    ZSH_THEME_GIT_PROMPT_PREFIX="(%{$fg_bold[green]%}"

    The above JSP file is giving the below output on IE
    Accessing Bean Properties: JSP2_1 result
    First Name
    Second Name
    ThirdName Name
    Accessing Bean Properties
    red
    green
    white
    black
    First Name = Tarun
    Second Name = kumar
    last Name =
    Accessing Bean Properties: JSP2_2
    red
    green
    white
    black
    First Name Tarun
    Second Name kumar
    ThirdName Name
    Why is there a difference in output between Accessing Bean Properties: JSP2_1 & Accessing Bean Properties: JSP2_2 when the code written is the same. My Controller bean class below
    package task2;
    public class FavortiteColors {
      String[] col;
      public void setCol(String[] col) {
      this.col = col;
      public String[] getCol(){
      System.out.println("in getCOl");
      String[] col = new String[4];
      col[0] = "red";
      col[1] = "green";
      col[2] = "white";
      col[3] = "black";
      return col;
      public String processColors(){
      System.out.println("in processcol");
      return "pass";
      private String firstName = "Tarun";
      private String lastName ;
      private String middleName ;
      public String getMiddleName() {
      System.out.println("in getMiddleName");
      return "kumar";
      public void setMiddleName(String middleName) {
      System.out.println("setMiddleName");
      this.middleName = middleName;
      public String getFirstName() {
    System.out.println("getFirstName");
      return firstName;
      public void setFirstName(String firstName) {
      System.out.println("setFirstName");
      this.firstName = firstName;
      public String getLastName() {
      System.out.println("getLastName");
      return lastName;
      public void setLastName(String lastName) {
      System.out.println("setLastName");
      this.lastName = lastName;

    FYI, If you don't want to use a prefix mapping, you can use JSFTemplating. It supports the Facelets syntax for composition / insert / define / include, etc. However, it doesn't rely on the DEFAULT_SUFFIX to find pages.
    However, even though JSFT (and Faclets) have the ability to limit their scope to a subset of your application and/or behave well with other ViewHandlers. That doesn't mean the Tiles ViewHandler will... it might, I just don't know anything about it.
    Good luck!
