Strange behavior syncing Pre2 Calendar with Google Calendar

It's actually a relief to read someone describe very similar problems to those that I'm experiencing with the Pre 2 calendar.
Google-to-Pre is fine. Pre-to-Google works OK immediately after a hard reset. Soon, though, multiple entries for the same new event start appearing. Then no new events or amendments to existing ones get through at all. I realise now that much the same applies to contacts.
Sync with my Google calendars works perfectly on my iPad and, indeed, was fine on my Pixi Plus. So there must be bugs in webOS 2.0. The questions now are these. (1) When will Palm fix these bugs? (2) Is it worth my wasting yet more time with Palm support in trying to resolve the issue? Maybe not.
As for the two-month time limit on future events that sync to the Pre, that is not a bug: this is deliberate. (I'm pretty sure it didn't apply to my Pixi, so I think this too must be new to webOS 2.0.) Needless to say, a calendar in which you can only see events two months into the future is of extremely limited use, and would have been a dealbreaker had I known about it before buying the Pre 2. I can only hope that Palm sees sense and changes this in the next update.
All this is such a shame, because, otherwise, the Pre 2 is really an excellent phone.

This happened ever since google dropped support for exchange. There is a work around.
go to settings
then mail contacts and calendars.
Add account
select other
select under calendars.......add caldav account
then goes as follows
server: m.google.com
username: full email
password: your pass duh!
description: whatever you want!!!

How to sync multiple iPhone calendars with Google calendars?

I have an iPhone 4S with 5 different IOS calendars setup on it. I have linked my iPhone 4S to Outlook calendars via iClouds so when I update any of the calendars it successfully updates all the calendars in Outlook. I now want to be able to sync all my 5 IOS calendars with Google Calendar - I don't mind not being able to 2-way sync and don't mind Google calendar being read only but I DO want Google Calendar to keep updated with any changes I make on my IOS calendars.
I've currently got my gmail account on my iPhone as a CalDav account but it only updates the primary IOS calendar. I want to be able to sync all 5 IOS calendars to Google calendar and keep it updated. How do I do this?

I know that this has been asked before, but I can find no official response from apple to the question of how to share my icloud calendar with google calendar users (or frankly, anyone not using icloud)
Can anyone point me to an official response to this surprising intransigence?

It is a 2 way sync, enter the event on the iCloud calendar (in Google) and it will be there when you view the calendar in iCal, or Google or at the iCloud website.

Why do I get double entries when synching calendar with Google calendar?

Since I have different iCloud passwords on my iPad 2 and iPhone 4s, I synch the calendars with Google calendar. It works - to a point. The problem I'm getting double entries in my IOS calendars. Any suggestions?

I too was having this issue recently. I decided to look into it and discovered that www.google.com and all of the search results accessed through using a google search engine toolbar were currupt. I believe I solved this problem by updating my firmware of my router.
Type in your IP address in your Address Bar (search using Yahoo what your default IP router address is if you haven't changed it since you got it.) You'll then need to navigate to your router's website (ex: I search Cisco and Linksys and found mine).
Most logins to the router are
Name: admin
Password: password
You will then download a .bin file and go to your administrator page in your router's control panel and go to Firmware Upgrade. Click the "find file" (or whatever it says) and click upgrade. This worked for me.
If this doesn't solve it, reset the router to it's default settings by either using it's control panel or holding the reset button on the back of it in for several seconds. This will reset any port forwarding you may have set up as well as your Wifi password.

You need to transfer your iTunes library from your old computer to your new computer per the instructions included with this link.

If you don't do this per the instructions included with the link, all iTunes content on your iPhone will be erased with the first sync. If you haven't transferred photos from your old computer to your new, any photos on your iPhone that were transferred from your previous computer will be erased when selecting to transfer any photos from your new computer.
Not sure how cancelling a sync with iTunes and importing photos/videos from the Camera Roll with iPhoto could have an effect on your GPS reception and location services.

Google has instructions on how to set it up in the help section for the calendar.

I have been syncing my iphone calendar over icloud. I want to sync it with my google calendar now, as well (my google calendar is currently blank and has no entries). If I set this up, will my iphone calendar get overwritten by my google calendar, ultimately erasing everything? I'm very happy to have found this thread (started on my birthday!) which has helped me use google calendar to sync the iCal calendar on my Cube running OS 10.4 to the iCal calendar on my iPhone 4. I'm now able to sync the iPhone to the Cube directly, but now it doesn't matter!
In order to sync the iCal calendar on my Cube with my google calendar I'm using BusySync.

There is no suich thing as a Google iPad. iPads are made by Apple not Google. What device do you have exactly? If its made by Google its not an iPad. It may be a Tablet though.

Go to the Mail Contacts & Calendars system preferences and add your Gmail account to the computer. Then be sure to check the option to enable "Calendars & Reminders" for this account.
When finished, the account should be available in the Calendars applicaiton and you should see your Gmail calendars as an option on the sidebar. They will not sync with your local calendars or those from other accounts, but you can interface with them in this manner.

You can't use bluetooth to transfer files between your Macbook and tour iPhone. Use iTunes and sync the data to/from your phone. Caution: Be sure that your Macbook's calendar and address book have at least one entry (even a dummy entry) in order to generate a merge prompt. If you try to sync a bland\k address book or calendar, the blank file will replace the files in your iPhone.

I am trying to share myiCould calendar and Reminders with my google calendar and tasks. I love usingthe Reminders application and I also use google calendar more often because Ishare many documents with other people for our senior design. sorry, after a further read, the comment was about icloud not ical. I don't have icloud because I don't have Lion because it doesn't work well with FCP7. So I don't know how to share my ical. Can you help?

Syncing my iPhone calendar with Google calendar?

Hi,
I currently have Google Calendar set up on my phone, highlighted blue on my iPhone calendar.
If I add stuff when I have an internet connection, it'll go red, and stay that way, and never add it to my Google calendar.
Is there any way so that when I when I get into an internet area, it'll automatically sync these items with my Google calendar?
