Strange Cisco CAD issue

HI All,
I am currently running UCCX System version: 8.5.1.11003-32. We purchased a tool to replace the old cisco attendant so agents can transfer calls. When a customer agent transfer a call to a sales agent using this tool they get kicked out the cisco queue. If we transfer with out the tool there's no issue. If we transfer with the tool, but close CAD there's not issue. The vendor of the tool is stating this is a cisco issue. How can I determine who's issue is it.

Why are these Agents going to Reserved state? Is it because they are getting the inbound or Direct Preview Outbound calls?
After this Reserved state, Agent's phone should start rining and they should pickup the calls, if they don't do it in stipulated time, UCCX will force them to go to the Not_Ready state (depending on the parameter set for RONA under UCCX Admin->System parameter page).
Could you please check the Reason code for the Not_ready state in CAD for these events?
I will meantime check the logs to see any specific reason for this issue.

Cisco CAD Issue , UCCX System version: 8.5.1.11003-32

The main issue around the guys taking calls, After finishing the call and the CAD display staying in the 'Not Ready' state. Once clicked on 'Ready' (to take a call) which goes straight back to 'Not Ready' state, So they are unable to take calls. This is happening intermittenly with all Agents of one particular call center site. I took a look into the CAD ebug logs and I can see Agents state changing from Reserved state to Not ready state without Intervention of Agent.I can also see the number of timeouts session which is leading to RTPstoped event. The UCCX system is upgraded from V7.0 to 8.5.1.11003-32.
Also I have a strong feeling this could be a network related issue which results to timeouts and disconnection of session between UCCX and CAD.
I have attached the debug logs, Guys do you any idea onthis issue ??

Single TaskButton in the Cisco CAD Client is not functioning

Hi ALL,
we are facing issues with respect to Cisco CAD Client application.
We are using I.C.M Version 7.5.8.
1)We have a set of Task Buttons configured, where as one of the Buton is configured for a Blind Transfer(InThis Case TASK1) is not functioning randomly.
2)We have configured this to transfer back to I.V.R.sometimes after clicking twice or thrice, it works some times it does not transfer at all.
3)No Error is observed, except the call is not getting transferd back to I.V.R.
4)Have gathered the Agent Level Desktop logs and noticed TimeOut Messages .Please find below the LOG Snippet for reference.

The message below is a generic error, you will have to look more into all the PG logs (jgw, opc, pim, cg, ctios) to see why the SST is failing.

Use the HeldCallID and ConsultantCallID from agent dbg to track the call in the PG logs for further clues.
If you are not after RCA, cycle the PG services this should help however most likely the problem might reoccur after sometime.

Cisco CAD getting Stuck

Hi Team,
Agents has reported that when the incoming calls comes, they are not receiving the notifcation(pop up for incoming call) and Cisco CAD getting stuck.

Does this always happen, or just occassionally?
Usually when this happens, you've got an agent selected, but don't have the connect option specified in the select resource step and never added the step in the script to connect the caller through.
Another thing that can cause this is if your script allows the script to "leave" the queued logic of the select resource step. If that's happening, it will cause this as well.
If it's an occassional problem, is it something you can duplicate on demand?

Cisco AP541 Issues.... (DHCP, Multicast, etc...)

I bought the AP541 since I thought I might just as well take the plunge and get a "real" AP rather than the Netgear 102's that I had in the past
( and been working perfectly fine I might add ).
First issue is DHCP - I just cant get an IP from my W2K3 server and or router... so I call Cisco and Cisco tells me to call my wendor and my wendor
tells me to call Cisco...
Eventually I find out that if you do a registry hack on W2K3 and disable the multcast/bradcast limit in the AP I actually get an IP.
Weeey - Happiness.... for a while... but whenever I use my IP TV (which uses broadcast) I loose connectivety to the AP *bummer*
Oh well... I will soon get a Cisco Switch where I can manage the broadcasts so no biggie....
Well - turns out the IP TV wants the IP from my router/modem and not from my server which means I'm back to square one.
AP wont "pass through" DHCP requests and it will "die" on excessive multicasts/broadcasts.
Ironic how a $70 AP does just fine and a $500 Cisco AP makes you want to throw the thing out the window.
Thoughts / ideas ?

What firmware version are you running? I recently installed one of these and upgraded to 2.0.0 firmware and I don't have the DHCP problem. I don't have Multicast in the network so I can't comment on this issue.
However I do have a strange problem with a network printer that I use on the network though. I can't print when I'm using the wireless network (enabled by the AP) but I can ping the printer from a wired device.
Also, pings to the printer don't work from wireless but they work from a wired connection. But I can access the web management console of the printer! Very strange. It's almost as if the AP is filtering in some way. I have the WAP connected to an ESW500 switch and I suspect it may have something to do with the smart port setting on the ESW500 when the AP is connected. I can't find a way to force the port settings to anything other than AP through CCA (ver. 3.0(1)). I don't have the ping issue when the AP is connected through another switch but I still can't print to the printer when on wireless through the AP. I didn't have this problem with a regular linksys AP/Router. I'll have to do some more investigating to isolate whether the problem is the AP or the switch or both.
How is your AP connected to the rest of the network? Are you also using a switch with Smartport configurations?

Update:
I logged into my ESW500 switch and forced the port that the printer is plugged into as a printer role (this is not available from CCA). I still could not ping the printer. I then configured the port the AP is plugged into, as a switch port and not AP. Voila! I can ping the printer. I had to remove and re-add the printer to be able to print though. So the problem seems to be with the Smart port definitions for APs. CCA now alerts me that I have an error in my configuration because the smartport definition is incorrect for the port the AP is connected to.
If you have configured smartports on your switch for your AP, try forcing the switch role and see if that solves the problems you are having.

We having a setup :
uccx 8, cucm 8 .
Getting below error and agent is getting log out from the CAD application.
"Seesion has been idle over its limit. log off will in 2 min. Press any key to continue session."
could any one help me to resolve this.

The administrator of the server that is running Terminal Services may have set a timeout value on idle sessions. User may have been logged on to the computer previously, and then let the session go past the idle timeout limit, at which time User received the following warning two minutes prior to disconnection: Remote Desktop Disconnected
The remote session was ended because the idle timeout limit was reached. This limit is set my the server administrator or by network policies. When user reconnect, user is in the same session and the warning that user received for disconnection is still present in the session.

Cisco 3650 Issue with 1231 AP

hi all,
i've got an issue with a new cisco 3650 48 port wherein older AP 1231 keeps on disconnecting.
the connection is just a simple trunk.

i don't think it's a cable issue. correction on the working AP, it's supposed to be a AIR-SAP1602E.
this AP is working on the 3650.
i've searched and i think the AIR-AP1231 isn't supported on this switch platform.

F3507g mobile broadband driver - Windows 7 - and Cisco Vpn issue

Hi All,
After 3 days trying to install / update latest drivers on my X200/ Windows 7 / 32b, it seems now that my F3507g is now installed correctly…
I can go the a connection over internet and ping some servers BUT when I initiate my Cisco Vpn, ( working perfectly with my Ethernet connection and my Wifi 5300 AGN ) the connection is ok but no incoming or outgoing traffic !!!
Any idea on how to solve that issue ?

Yes, this is a problem with the IPSEC VPN NDIS driver binding your Mobile Broadband driver. You need to read this article and it is explains why and how to work around this issue:

InDesign 5.5: Strange Printing Transparency Issues

Hi guys, long time reader, first time poster. This forum has helped with a lot of problems, so thanks, and hopefully you can help with this one.
I'm working on a multiple-spread page for a client that is giving me some strange issues when it's printed. The document has an image as a background for the entire page, and then a black box over the image with some text on top of it. For some reason, the black box with text is letting the image underneath show through, almost as if the box is 99% transparent or something. I've checked each box individually, and there's nothing in the transparency/attributes boxes. I'm not sure how, exactly, to solve this issue -- is there some sort of universal transparent image setting (for instance, set black to 99% opacity always or something similar)?. It's the only thing I can think of.
InDesign CS5.5, OSX Lion. The files are a combination of TIFF and JPG images, and I get the same issue no matter what image format is underneath.
Any feedback is welcome here.

The third one is the page that I took the picture of the printout with my phone.
I've tried this on an offset press and a digital press; with 'knockout group' ticked and not. For the life of me, I can't understand why the black is still overprinting on the image when it shouldn't be.

Strange audi sync problem & different, stranger video sync issu in sequence

I have two strange occurances with one particular set of media that was downloaded from the same original source mini-dv (recording in dvcam) tape. I have not found the same issue on any other footage.
1) when the media is imported into FCP, the audio is out of sync. it is slightly out at the beginning and then gets progressively worse.
2) when this footage is used in a sequence, the video that show in the sequence is not the same as the video that is exported when this sequence is exported as QT movie (or any other export option) Like the audio the video out of sync gets progressively worse.
- The original media is perfectly in sync looking at the digitized source ie: in Quicktime. There is no audio out of sync problem.
- the only difference I could see in the file was that this media is 3.5mb data rate whereas all the others are 3.6mb.
- other tapes from the same camera do not have a problem
- I do all my downloading from a firewire deck and not from the camera
- I upgraded from 6.0.1 to 6.0.4 (as did the QT 7.5 upgrade also) to see if that fixed the problem but to no avail.
Very perplexing. I managed to work around this problem in a sequence whos deadline was looming by manually slipping the footage in the sequence the required number of frames. This is where it also gets odd. I was able to do this by
- double click the clip in the sequence which then loaded that into the viewer.
- position the playhead at the beginning of the clip
- from the canvas select the go to position in master clip option which then loaded the masterclip into the viewer. the position in the masterclip was always the correct frame (ie the frame I expected to see as per my edit). The frame showing in the canvas was also the correct frame (but this would not be the case when exported)
- the next thing i did was to use the slip tool, as soon as i held the slip tool over the sequence clip, the frame in the canvas would be the wrong frame (the frame i would see when I exported).
- then i would just carefully slip the sequence clip back to the matching correct frame. So watching in the viewer, I would align the frame that showed in the viewer to the frame in the canvas.
When done the frame showing in my sequence would be a completely different frame but when exported, the frame that I expected to see would be the exported frame.
I could find no logic to the amount I needed to slip each time (I am sure there is logic but I couldnt figure out what that was). the clip at the end of the footage needed to be slipped -10:09, and this got progressively smaller to the clip at the beginning of footage needing to be slipped -:16
Hopefully that wasnt too confusing.

btw, i have tried recapturing the footage and i have offlined it, copied it to another location and onlined it in the new location to no avail. still have the sync and video in sequence issues.

Strange Wi-Fi issue in Mountain Lion

Hello Mountain Lion Gurus/Users/All,
Just yesterday I upgraded my 2009-mid-MacBook Pro to Mountain Lion (from Lion)
I have this strange issue.
I turn on my Wi-F
Selected my home network from the list of all the networks Mac could find. (Actually this is the network I regularly use on all my devices.)
It gets connected to my home network over Wi-Fi for 6 to 7 seconds. (I am able to browse pages, as a test, in these 6 to 7 seconds).
Suddenly message pops up saying "Connection Timeout. Could not connect to network." Where as, I am able to browse over the same network from other devices like my iPod Touch, Android :@ Device etc.
Please help me.

Chandra,
Some people have found that setting a network location prevents this kind of problem.
In System Preferences, choose Network. Then Edit Location, the + sign and use any name for the location. Then select the location in the Network preferences pane. If you haven't already, joint the wifi network.
You should also check that you haven't inadvertently messed up your settings in the advanced portion of the preferences. While you're in there, click the button to renew your DHCP lease (in the TCP/IP tab).

CWA using Cisco ISE issue

Good morning everyone,

But for the moment, clients can't seee the web portal. My WLC and my Cisco ISE are well configured as presented in the document, when clients connect to the AP, they are listed into the Cisco ISE with the good authorization profile but, the URL redirection doesn't work as well as I want, clients have to enter manually the IP address in the web browser to log-in trough the Cisco ISE.
If anyone already had this problem, maybe could tell me more about that.

Good news!
I have resolved my problem 15 minutes ago. For people who have the same problem, I have just changed my static route in my WLC. The issue was that I broadcast the same VLAN used for the management interface and in adding the network allowing admin to reach service-port, all traffic of my broadcasted VLAN was sent to the service-port. A simple netmask modification resolved the problem.
I have still a problem with CoA which doesn't work properly and I have to disconnect/reconnect to the SSID to have a complete access but I'm going to continue my research for that.

CISCO ISE ISSUE 24206 User disabled

We have here an issue with Cisco ISE. When I create a guest account with the sponsor portal We can´t access the Wlan. On tne Cisco ISE Operations \ Authentications returns the error message Event "Authentication" Faulure Reason "24206 User Disabled" Auth Method "PAP_ASCII" Authentication Protocol "PAP_ASCII"
In order to fix this issue, what can I do? I don´t understand why because I can create the user withou error message.
At the sponsor portal the user that I have created doens´t show at the list...
Any help??

Select the affected account and click Reinstate.
It is possible, that your sponsor account does not have the permission to Reinstate/Suspend accounts. Check/change this in your ISE admin page:
- Go to Administration > Guest Management > Sponsor Groups.
- Click the Sponsor Group your sponsor account is a member of to edit.
- Select tab Authorization Levels: view/modify the permission listed for the option Suspend/reinstate Accounts.

Strange CPU Performance issue Mac Pro, Logic 7.2.3......

I am experiencing a strange issue with Logic 7.2.3 and my Mac Pro.
I am running about 70 tracks in a tune I'm writing, with a lot of the EQ and dynamics processed on a Liquid Mix, but am experiencing a lot of CPU spikes, and drop outs in logic.
The System Performance meters are showing that one of the CPU cores is at full capacity, whilst the Activity Monitor is showing a total usage of about 40%.

I have tried every combination of settings in the audio preferences, but cannot seems to get this track to play properly.
With 71 tracks, this machine is currently LESS powerful than the G5 that I have been working on until purchasing the Mac Pro.
I there anything else I can try? Are there any other means of controlling buffer size?
I have a suspicion that this may have something to do with the Plugin Delay Compensation set to 'All' - But without doing this, I cannot use the DSP effects of the liquid mix to work on a Bus! Very frustrating.

Thanks for the tips guys.
I have tried to find an offending loop or part in the sequence, but cannot find anything at all thats causing the issue.
My suspiscion is that using the focusrite Liquid mix on a part, that is in turn going into a delay compensated bus, which has another Liquid mix plugin on it, is causing the issues. I use the total mix software in the fireface to perform the summing of the busses, which I think in turn may be causing the PDC to glitch a bit more.
Which is a bit annoying, as the mix in this tune is my best yet!
So I will attempt to remove the liquid mixes that are running in series in a chain, and see if thats the problem, but if that fails, time to re-format again!
I'll let you know how I get on in the next couple of days!

Strange power-on (issue?) with K8N Neo4 Platinum

Hi all, i have a new K8N Neo4 Platinum, non-sli.
My rig:
A643000+ winch, no overclock
2x512MB Corsair XMS DDR400MHz
2x200GB Seagate mirroring
Plextor PX-708A
BenQ DVD Burner
AN OLD Matrox Mystique 4MB PCI (new pci-e gfx card later...)
A powerfull enermax coolergiant 600W ATX 2.0 power supply
Latest official nforce4 drivers and bios
It seems to be ok: installed winXP pro sp2 and updates, installed two Seagate in raid-mirroring with the nforce4 controller, installed some progs and utils, firewall is ok, prime95 go without problems for 1 our (more tests later), cpu temp is 34°C and sys temp is 30°C.

Apparently no weird things...
When i switch-on the Pc, for some seconds( ̃10 secs) it don't want to boot, optical drives blink repeatly and the screen is blank, like a bad overclock... But the machine isn't overclocked, and the bios is ok, i think. After 10 secs, finally it go and run flawlessly, post and other things are ok. When i reboot in win, the 10secs-issue repeat itself. So this strange thing at the post is normal? Anyone with the same "problem"? For now the rig is ok when it logon in winXP...

I had unplugged the optical drives, but the problem persist. When plugged, they blink for some times and after blinking the machine go into post-phase and after it boot in the correct manner. I think the PCI card is the problem, like some of you said... I will buy one pci-e card (obviously), but i hope things are not dangerous for now
In the mean time, i have a new problem: emule+firewall=BSOD. I know, there are tons of post about this issue around, but the solution is unclear... Tried to disable DEP, patched WinXP SP2 with latest things from winupdate, but nothing work for me, emule and the firewall generate a crash&reboot. Tried with the Marvell LAN, too, without success.
Any suggestions? Usefull links? If i uninstall the "NVIDIA Forceware Network Access Manager" it will work without problem with a thirdy part firewall, like sysgate?
P.S.
What's the problem with nvidia drivers? C'mon nvidia, solve this damned issue!
