Strange codes during POST

I'm having this strange codes during POST, by this order: 99 B4 A2 C5. They change fast and the boot is fast too. What do they mean? My computer is working fine (as far as I know) but I'd like to know what those codes are.

Those are simply POST sequence checkdown codes as it progresses to the boot of the OS stage. If it stops on one of them, then it helps to troubleshoot what the problem might be.
Look this up on the Web searches, it should show up so you can download it.

    Hi,
    Maintain the current CRM release.
The dump might have occurred when transferring SAP sales order to CRM.
This has caused a error in SAP table CRMPAROLTP .
Go to SE91 provide the message class & message number, then click where-used-list & select the program check box.It will show you the program name MV45AF0B_BAPIDATEN_ERMITTELN.
Just check the program with the ABAPer.
    Hope this helps.

  • Payment terms and Baseline date deact. during posting

Is it possible to deactivate fields: Payment terms and Baseline date in FB60 and MIRO so that the user can't change them? Terms of payment are defined in Vendor Master Data and shouldn't be changed during posting.

    Hi,

    Hi,
The real-time integration of Controlling with Financial Accounting was active at the time the CO documents were posted.
CO documents could be not transferred to financial accounting on behalf of errors which are only known to occur in the following situations:
    - During mass processing such as internal CO assessments or distributions
    - Manual posting of individual CO documents is not possible if errors occur in financial accounting.
    - If real-time integration was not active when the CO document was posted, you must use the report   FAGL_COFI_TRANSFER_CODOCS to transfer these CO documents to financial accounting because they are not in the worklist.

  • Automatic update of vendor code during plant to plant Transfer

    Hi all,
How to configure automatic update of vendor code during plant to plant Transfer.
    Regards
    KK

    hi,
In transfer posting there is no buying/selling of the goods...there is only transfers may be from plant ot plant...or storage loc to st location...etc...
When you do plant to plant stock transfer, there is no role of the vendor...but the receiving and the destination plant/storage loc plays a big role...
    Hope its clear...

  • MIRO creates a duplicate document itself during posting an invoice

    Hi all,
have you ever experienced that SAP created a financial posting by itself during posting of invoice? I've found out that on certain circumstances its possible. In AP process when posting an invoice(S1 entry type) in Miro AP click on "Save-post button. They should be routed to their "inbox" however it happens that they are routed to first Miro screen. This is the moment when we know the O1entry type(entry posted outside workflow) is created by the system. Is it possible to solve it here? Or should I be more specific?
    Thanks a lot for help.
    regards
    Jakub

    Hi
You can use BADI AC_DOC_POST.. Pardon me, i dont remember the name exactly.. You can search the badis in SE18 based on this name
Ask your abaper to write the code  so that when the COMMIT happens, it also updates the Z table
    Other Options: BTE 1120

  • Problem with P45 Platinum during POST

    Good day!
I have MSI P45 Platinum mainboard and from to time to time it freezes during POST with AMI bios POST code - 423C. This happens right after the message that "4096MB OK" and before the detection of SATA/IDE drives.  When this happens, the only way to make the system run is to turn off the power (pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del of Reset would result in the same error)  - after that the POST procedure finishes correctly and I don't experience any problems afterwards (system is rock-solid after POST completion).
So my question is - can anyone explain me what does this post code mean (D-Leds are not much of a help)? Is this a mobo problem or may be there is some kind of incompatibility with my hardware. I should mention also that I've tried all versions of Bios both official and beta without any success.
This problem does not trouble me that much (doesn't happen often), but still I would like to understand what may cause it.
    P.S. My system config - iC2D E8300/MSI P45 Platinum/4x1Gb DDR2-800 Geil Black Dragon (5-5-5-15)/MSI Radeon 4870 1Gb OC edition/HDD 250 Gb WD + 120Gb Seagate/SB Audigy 4/DVD-RW Asus 1814/PSU TT Toughpower 700w (w0105)
Thanx in advance and please excuse my poor English

    Thank you for the reply!

What is your current BIOS Version?
I've recently flashed the latest beta bios version - 1,5 beta 6... but it produces the same error as did the latest official bios v1.4
    Quote from: Jack the Newbie
Does the same problem occur with only one memory module installed?
I don't know actually. But thanks for pointing this out  - I will test the system with one (and then with two) module(s). I've tested the modules with the memtest86+ software (the latest version, which supports P45 chipset) several times and it showed no errors. So the modules are OK and they worked without any problems with my previous mb (Gigabyte P35-DS3).
    Quote from: Jack the Newbie
What do the POST-Status LEDs of the board tell you, when the system freezes at the described stage?
Well, I guess I don't fully understand what does the combination of LEDs tell during the freeze. I'll try to describe the combination -
    LED12 - OFF           LED13 - GREEN
    LED8 - RED             LED7 - OFF
    LED14 - OFF           LED10 - GREEN
    LED15 - RED           LED11 - OFF
In mobo's manual this diagnostic LEDs are grouped in 4 groups and the description of the group that most closely resembles my case is - "Testing base and Extended memory etc." But I'm not sure that I'm identifying the problem correctly, because of the LEDs that are OFF.
    Quote from: Jack the Newbie
Are you experiencing any freeze and/or stability problems appart from the described problem?
No, as I said in my initial post, once it get past this stage everything is running smoothly - OS boots and all software, including the most demanding games or tests, are running OK.

The errors affect the following components:
       BC-SEC-USR-PFC (Authorization and Role Management)
Please advice if anybody faced such kind of issue.

    Rephrased a'la Julius:
    > To avoid the problems during the subsequent import into a target client, the AGR_NUM_2 table can be maintained as customizing for the clients (plural) in the source development system where the roles are maintained. If more than one client is used for role development, a number range gap of 50000 between the clients should be sufficient to prevent profile name collisions (otherwise you have much bigger problems anyway...).
    >
    > This is because the system ID (sy-sysid) is used as an attribute in the generated profile's name, but not the client (sy-mandt). > The value set in the AGR_NUM_2 tables determines the current number per client of the next sequential number to be used for profile generation. The customer can initialize this number to insert an additional attribute per client to achieve unique generated names within client specified ranges.
    Something like that

  • Termination during posting activity confirmation

    Dear All,
Actually we have transported all the number ranges from Dev - Golden Client to Dev - Testing Client.
Now when we carried out few confirmations, we were not getting error as such.  Suddenly if you see, we have got the error " System error: Termination during posting" while confirming the activity.
As such, we have changed the current number in transcation KANK  - Check Number Ranges for CO Postings.  Then, for the first confirmation it worked out and confirmation was saved.  Again while doing the next confirmation, the same error persists and if we again change the current number in KANK, it is getting saved.  Subsequently, when you carry out the confirmation again the same error appears.
Could any one help on this.
    Regards,
    Arun.An

    Hi,
    Issue resolved...
    Solution is:
We have found that we have a number range problem.
Logistic confirmations generate the corresponding CO and FI documents.
In this case, system is trying to generate a FI document which number is already used in the system.
We solved this problem in your system in the following way
    1th Transaction FBN1
    2th Company code FA10
    3th Press button Status
4th Select the number range 10 for year 2011 and modify the
    current number
In our case it was 1XX13XXXX43 and I modified by 1XX1XXX250

  • Satellite Pro A - Beep signal during POST

    Hello.
I have an issue with the BIOS POST check that annoys me. The issue is that when I restarting my computer or turn it on sometimes during POST (when a Toshiba logo appears) there is a beep sound signal. Mainly there is no signal but sometimes there is very noise.
So, the question is: Is it a problem in the hardware or is it a problem in the BIOS (by the way, I re-flashed BIOS several times - no result).
    Thanks.

    Thanks PinkPanther for your answer.
The problem occurs just sometimes, approx. after each second restart. I have two memory modules: 1x Kingston 2GB; 1x Samsung 1GB (both running at 667 MHz and have the same timings). Moreover, I had tested memory with Windows Memory Diagnostic tool: No problems detected.
Generally speaking, the machine works normally, but this beeping signal seems strange for me.
Hard drive is also OK. The SMART monitoring shows no problem with the drive.
    Hope this info is useful.
    Thanks for help.
    Regards,
    Osman.

Friends these are the two issues im facing while doing the transports._i have checked the update rules in the BW DEV it is working fine._please give some solutions to overcome this issues.
    Thanks
    Gnana Baskar

    Hi Gnana,
Since u r telling tht the update rules are working fine in the Dev system, request u to perform some checks:
    1. The Update rule needs to be in active version.
    2. The InfoObjects used in the target InfoProvider should be present in the QA system/attached to the request in which u r transporting the changed Update Rule.
    3. Manually add objects, if needed all the Before/After objects in the new request and reactivate the Update rule, if it asks for a request give this new request number.
    4. Compare the data model in Dev and QA system and try finding the disconnect between them.
    Hope this helps.
