Strange Coding Display when starting up!!

Hi, is there anyone who has an idea about this display? The situation is that every time i start my laptop or turn it off, this coding display would show up. The pic is just a part of it. It seems to be the laptop is scaning the disc or something. It is really annoying and I am worried about whether there is something wrong with the logic board or something. Rolling on the floor to beg for help~~~~

and photo of thing for us to see?
aha, I see it
it is -v option in boot parameters. Used some twikery application like Onyx or other? For cleaning caches etc?
If so - run it again and search for "verbose boot" option and disable it.
If not used such things - somebody did a joke on you.
Tell if so and I'll post instruction how to disable it

I still wait for an answer regarding this issue. My MBA's display always starts in low brightness (only a bar). What should I do???

    Hi,
Since Ambient light sensing is one of the SMCs, resetting SMC may help.

  • Error on Display when Starting Up After Ejecting a Cable in Thunderbolt Port

Hi there, there's been a problem in my macbook since its been ejected from a thunderbolt cable. It was using this port for connecting the macbook with a TV. The first time i used it, it was fine. After the third or fourth time i've used it, when i start up my macbook, the display was still the same display as when it was connected with the tv, then a cracked display came for a split second and changed to the usual display with the sign in screen. I thought when i restart it, it would go back to normal, however it keeps happening every time i tried to start it up. Help please.

I am having similar issue.  Getting these same 24 error messages everytime I start iTunes. Sharing is already off.

  • Strange error message when starting listener at boot time

Hi I have SuSE 10 server and Oracle 10.2.0
I followed the instruction on my how configure /etc/init.d/dbora to start
the db instance and the listener at boot time
The db instance starts fine;however, the listener doesnt start and gives the following strange message
    "cannot start using /ade/vikrkuma_new/oracle/bin/tnslnr"
Does anyone has seen this and is there a workaround?
It looks like to me the listener tries to locate the listener.ora but it fails
I tried to force it by setting TNS_ADMIN in my /etc/init.d/dbora script but it still doesnt pick it up
    any clue?

    Hi,
Check your oracle bin varible and oracle home varible. If possible can you force this?
    Cheers,

  • I have a MacBook Pro with Retina display, when starting up, I see the Apple logo, the bar underneath fills about 1/4 of the way, and then the screen goes black, the mouse cursor is still visible.

Boots to black in OS X mode (I believe 10.10.2? tough to check right now).  I can boot into Windows 8 using Boot Camp without incident.  I have booted to Disk Utility and run Disk and Permissions Repair.  I have booted into Diagnostics, and no issues were found (ADP000 was the Reference Code given).  I reset the PRAM, which gave a louder chime than I had been getting when failing to start up OS X, but otherwise no change.  Feeling that my options were exhausted, I attempted to restore from Time Capsule, and it won't connect to Time Capsule, despite Time Capsule being the active router whose network I am connected to.  Please advise.
(This is my girlfriend's computer, she tells me that she selected an option to perform an automatic update later, that night.)

Install or Reinstall OS X from Scratch
Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.
    Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
    Erase the hard drive:
      1. Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
      2. After DU loads select your startup volume (usually Macintosh HD) from the
left side list. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
      3. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Optionally, click on
the Security button and set the Zero Data option to one-pass. Click on
the Erase button and wait until the process has completed.
      4. Quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall OS X: Select Reinstall OS X and click on the Install button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible
because it is three times faster than wireless.
This should install the version of OS X that you had installed.
Be sure you only work on the OS X volume, not your Windows volume. I cannot tell you if you will still be able to boot the Windows volume after the above. You will need to find a fix for that.

  • Strange SQL error when starting VCServer

    Hello,
I just installed the Visual Composer Server on the same box as my EP6SP2.
When I, from a client, tries to access http://server/VCServer/ the application starts up, and launches a window where I must make a new model. If i here tries to enter anything in any of the text-fields, it comes up with an errormessage:
    ERROR
    SQL Query "SELECT m.ID, m.login_name, m.kit_name, m.kit_version, r.name, owner FROM MODELS m, RULES r WHERE r.id = m.owner_id ORDER BY login_name" in invalid:
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server] Invalid columb name 'id'.
The MSSQL database seems to be created during installation with no problems. The MSSQL 2000 is running SP3.
Any help and directions would be appreciated.
    Jonas

    Hi All
I used to get this error when I installed VC on Windows XP SP1 and is connected to MS SQL 2000 (SP3).
The reason was that the MDAC components where not upto date. Hence I had to upgrade my system to SP2 level with the latest version of MDAC. After that everything worked  fine.
I strongly recommend the usage of the following tools to figure out such problems:
    1)MICROSOFT MDAC COMPONENT CHECKER
2)Visual Composer Analyser - This is just an executable HTML file where you may need to add a few log lines to get a better result.

pub.interfaces.ClientIface is in the SAME directory as the RMI server class! What could be causing this?
NOTE: I'm running this on Redhat Linux 9, jdk 1.5.0_04.

Usually an unmarshalling exception is caused by the classes not matching up on the server & client end. The classes are there I think, because otherwise it would have thrown a classnotfound exception instead. Can you try actually copying and pasting the classes either from the server to the client or vice versa? I've had weird issues where sometimes the compiler compiles the same class differently in different locations, so your safest bet is to make sure the client & server classes (that you're passing as arguments & returning from the server) are identical.
    Good luck!

    Hi Santharam,
I believe this is a side effect of two cluster members having different versions of the same class due concurrent development and testing. The best way to separate the clusters is to set each to use a different multicast address for the cluster communication. this can be done easily by using the following command line argument:
    <tt>-Dtangosol.coherence.clusteraddress=224.1.1.x</tt>
    Where 'x' is a value between 1 and 254.
I would also suggest setting the time-to-live of the multicast messages to zero so that the communication does not go beyond the development machine. This can be done with a similar command line argument:
    <tt>-Dtangosol.coherence.ttl=0</tt>
    Hope this helps.

  • CG02 Report from Template error when starting the display application

    System info: SAP GUI 720 (patch 10007878), ECC 6.0, SAP_APPL/EA-APPL 605, WWI 2.7 (patch 20000084)
    Hi, folks.
I was able to execute CG02 'Report from Template' function. My local MS Word 2003 would open successfully to display the report as expected. Suddenly, I couldn't do that anymore. I'm now getting msg "An error occurred when starting the display application" (C$772). And I didn't change anything.
Any clue to what has happened or why it is happening? In my Word, I have 'C:\Program Files\SAP\FrontEnd\SAPgui\wwi' set as the file location for User templates. What else should I check?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi, Caroline.
Thanks for pointing me (back) to it! (I've encountered a similar issue with the same param back in 2010...)
I'm positive that the problem started after I tried to run the transaction code (of my custom report program that does the CG02 'Report from Template' function) from the web gui ('You Can Also' menu function). Somehow, the standard SAP fms within It changed the param ESWWI_INST value from 'EXISTFRONT' to 'WWISERVER'. So when I ran CG02 and the WWI server is not available yet, I received the error msg.

  • CG54--Report from Template error when starting the display application

    Hi,
Currently I have MS 2013 installed on my workstatsion. But now whenever I try to open a template for any specification I get error "
An error occurred when starting the display application--Message no. C$772"
I have SAP Logon 730 Patch 11. Also in User profile I maintain EXISTFRONT for ESWWI_INST. But for some reason it keeps on getting reset as WWISERVER.
    Need help on the same.
    Regards,
    Rohan

    Dear Rohan
your local WWI installation seems to be dusrupted. Check e.g.  EHS- Inconsistent WWI Report behaviour for different users
and many similar threads. Check OSS Marketplace for Release of WWI in regards of WinWord 2013
    Dear Camila
according to my knowlede: the local WWI insztallaiton is not a "generation server" one. The parameter symbol you have mentioned is dedicated for WWI server set upin GLM area only. Therefore your hint will not work (according to my knowledge). But there is some "but"...
With SAP ERP EnhPack 3 you need not to install any more a local WWi but could use a WWI gen server farm. If you can use this option the WWI set up is very different. In this case may be your hint is correct.
