Strange error in code

Question

Ok im incredibly new to java but i have the basics of the basics of the basics down such as the Pen commands and KeyboardReader stuff like that. I am writing a code for the fun of it that converts Fahrenheit to Celcious or Celcious to Fahrenheit (depending on what the user defines). I have 2 errors that i cant figure out the source of. Can you help me please? (the '----->' points to the error)

28)}also whats wierd is that if i nullify that 'else' line, i get two different errors.
'fahrenheitA' in line 15 gives me a "The local variable fahrenheitA may not ahve been initialized" as does 'celciusB' in line 20. Any suggestions, correction, etc?

and now comes the time to smack myself in the face. I simply thought that a certain line didnt need a semi-colon for some reason which made my script think i was crazy or something.
one error does persist though. "Syntax error on token "else", delete this token"
